It was completely silent Inside the clinic. The flame of the seven-star lamp was flickering, but there was not one sound. Black and white aura encircled the good-evil tripod; the white aura representing good energy was evidently stronger than the black aura representing evil energy.

Those represented all the negative feedback of the evil energy. However, the process that time felt completely different. He felt like he was cultivating in the sunlight during springtime; his whole body was basked in golden sunlight, warm and comfortable. There were also an abundance of positive feelings, such as happiness, sweetness, softness, gentleness, and more. He was overwhelmed instantly by those positive feelings, and he felt like the whole world was at peace; no more wars, no more evil intentions, even tigers started eating grass instead. As for him, he was loved by everyone, while he loved everyone with gentleness.

It was an inexplicably wondrous cultivation experience, which was Ning Tao's first. He absorbed the good energy of the good-evil tripod hungrily, like a starving person gobbling up a bowl of noodles, filling his stomach in an instant.

With that cultivation, the “virus” accumulated from his previous cultivations had slowly diminished, and his spiritual power had grown rapidly. After all, the good-evil tripod had already accumulated over 7000 points worth of treatment fees, and the merit of good intention significantly outweighed the sins of evil intention. If a cultivation session had gone on for too long, the Niwan acupoint would reach its limit. It would get exhausted and painful, no longer able to process spiritual power.

After taking a short break, Ning Tao reawakened his spiritual sense, entering his own physical world.

The mud swamp in the shape of a vortex seemed to have grown a little larger. The piece of Taiji image suspended above the mud swamp was clearly separated into black and white. The white part which had once been deflated had become considerably abundant. The black and white parts had become balanced!

It was already the second time, yet Ning Tao was still shocked by his volleyball-sized core.

He had gotten a grasp of the world of a typical practitioner. The most basic level was Foundation-building, followed by the processes in the order of Enlightenment, Fusion, Heartbeat, Golden Core, Nascent Soul, Out-of-Body, Spiritual Separation, Being Consolidation, Holy Dwelling, Spreading Enlightenment, and lastly the undergoing of tribulation, before ascending as a deity. As for the different levels of deities, there was no way for him to know. None of the books about the typical cultivation process left behind by Xuan Tianzi had introduced the realm of the deities. After all, even Xuan Tianzi had never met any actual deity, much less had a chance of understanding them, given that he had passed away in the House of Sword Pavilion Cave.

However it seemed like Ning Tao had bypassed a few of the foundational stages, already producing such a huge volleyball-sized core. If those ordinary practitioners had known about it, would they end up killing themselves by smashing their heads into the wall?

When he was using the Cat Claw Punch, his punches had left faint moving shadows of black and white in the air. His speed and power had evidently increased.

When he was using Powerful Tolerance to Beating, he violently smashed the shiny golden Heavenly Hound tripod on his own head. Neither did his head nor the tripod broke. When he had use the tripod to smash his vital parts below, he only managed to feel a subtle pain, but it was nothing serious.

When he used Ladder under Feet, the duration of him staying in mid-air had increased considerably. After that increase in spiritual power, he had been able to run faster and fly higher than before.

Right after, he practiced the pre-school scalpel method. After charging the Blade of the Solar Eclipse with spiritual power, wisps of black and white blade aura floated out of the knife and the semblance of blood flowed within the blade like the movement of a burning flame. Once he brandished the knife, shadows of blood red color appeared in the air. The movement was so extremely rapid and sharp. There was even the sound of the sharp blade being whipped in the air. Unquestioningly, the pre-school scalpel method had also grown stronger!

After the practices, Ning Tao was feeling pleased and confident. He felt that even if he met opponents of the level of Tang Tianren, he would be able to defeat them without Qing Zhui, Bai Jing or Yin Molan's help.

Up next was the opening of the store door.

Based on the names, the Scriptures & Scrolls Store would obviously store scriptures and scrolls. He could imagine attaining some high level cultivation methods specifically belonging to the go-between of good and evil and also some recipes for making or using paper talismans.

With the same logic applied, the Elixirs & Equipment Store would most likely contain some potent elixir prescriptions, tripods for cultivating medicine and also spiritual materials, along with some existing medicinal elixirs. He would be able to attain those if he opened the door.

However, regardless of how logical his deductions were, they remained only as deductions. As long as he did not open any of the doors, nobody would know what was inside.

Ning Tao stopped in front of the door to the Elixirs & Equipment Store for a while again. He was still in a dilemma, not knowing whether opening the door of Scriptures & Scrolls Store or the door of Elixirs & Equipment Store would be most necessary for his benefit at that point in time.

Ning Tao promptly stood in between the two doors. He dug out the dollar coin left from buying Jiang Hao's popcorn, holding it in his hand and mumbling to himself, “I'll just let fate decide. If it were heads then I'll open the Scriptures & Scrolls Store. If it were tails then I'll open the Elixirs & Equipment Store.”

He immediately threw the coin once he finished speaking.

The coin flipped in the air, and finally, landed on the ground with a sound. It rolled around for a while before resting.

Heads was above. The Scriptures & Scrolls Store door was to be opened.

Ning Tao no longer hesitated. He took out the ledger of bamboo slips and opened it. He was looking for the indication for him to open the door, yet it had only indicated that there was enough available balance for him to open the door. There was no indication about how to open it.

Ning Tao contemplated for a moment. He walked toward the door of the Scriptures & Scrolls Store and reached out to push the door.

The door to the Scriptures & Scrolls Store was finally opened after a series door rattles.

So there was no special ceremony for opening it. As long as the conditions were met, he could open the door easily with a push.

The good-evil tripod suddenly started buzzing. It felt like it was a sound coming from the heavenly realm, far and mysterious, the sound of the Way.

Just when Ning Tao was going to take a look inside, he noticed that the good energy and evil energy inside the good-evil tripod were withdrawn. However, after a while, white good energy and black evil energy had emerged from the good-evil tripod again, except they were now evidently weaker than before.

After opening the door to the Scriptures & Scrolls Store, 5000 points of treatment fees were gone.
