Joanna's face showed a smile. “Tao has told me that yesterday. I was wondering how his girlfriend looks. I didn't expect you to be so pretty. No wonder you can win his heart! And your sister too. Miss Bai, you and your sister are so dazzlingly beautiful.”

“Miss Joanna, pleased to meet you,” Qing Zhui said.

Yin Molan nodded.

Qing Zhui said, “You'd better go in with Miss Joanna first. Sister and I will join you later.”

Liu Xian'er said, “Doctor Ning, our Master says there's something important he needs to tell you.”

Ning Tao frowned. “What thing?”

Wu Xiaolin answered, “Something involving Lin Qinghua. Our Master says you must be also keen to know the news of Liang Keming. He will tell you.”

Ning Tao was silent for a while before saying, “Lead the way.” Then he said to Joanna, “Miss Joanna, I will be back shortly.”

Joanna said, “Okay. I will be waiting for you here.”

Following Liu Xian'er and Wu Xiaolin, Ning Tao bypassed the background wall and entered a passageway with guards. Then he arrived at a room. He was just dressed like on the background wall outside, in a white Chinese Tang costume and ravishingly handsome. He gave one an impression of a woman disguised as a man. There was a strong yin aura on his body. On that background wall picture, he still retained some masculine maturity and confidence. That photo must have been artistically processed by the photographer. The man before Ning Tao now was the real him.

Ning Tao's hand shook and he drew out the refined Mauser pistol from his waist holster, aiming its muzzle directly at Bai Sheng's head. “Call yourself my father-in-law again and I will blast you dead.”

Bai Sheng did not show even a trace of fear on his face. He was still smiling. “Very well, I shall talk in your dialect. Shall I call myself your wife's dad?”

The muzzle of Ning Tao's pistol was still aiming at Bai Sheng's head.

Bai Sheng said with a chuckle. “You want to marry my daughter, so of course I'm your father-in-law. You can't deny this. Even if you won't acknowledge me, I'm still your wife's dad.”

Ning Tao said coldly, “You called me here only to say this?”

Bai Sheng suddenly moved his head forward, so that it almost touched the refined Mauser pistol's muzzle. He chuckled and said, “My dear son-in-law, go ahead and shoot me dead.”
