Qing Zhui and Bai Jing had also climbed up from the ground. With Ning Tao's protection, they were practically unscathed.

“Brother Ning, are you OK?” Qing Zhui asked anxiously.

Ning Tao shook his head. He did not say a word, only staring fixedly at the Soul-devouring Urn and Bai Sheng who was on top of it. The Soul-devouring Urn had devoured those innocent girls, and even including Bai Sheng's vassals. It had released him from the ropes bound to his hands and legs. Just after he had confirmed this situation and aiming his Mauser pistol at Bai Sheng, he immediately pulled the trigger.

A gunshot was fired. A bullet flew in the direction of Bai Sheng.

For a distance lesser than twenty to thirty meters, the time taken for the bullet to travel was negligible. In the instant when the gunshot was heard, a huge explosion was produced within the cave, sparks flew.

However, a pity was that, Bai Sheng was not blasted, but rather the stone wall behind him. A large hole in the stone wall was created, stone debris flew like bomb fragmentations. A piece of broken rock of about the size of a fist flew in the direction of the Soul-devouring Urn, but just before it could hit the urn, its course was magically diverted. Ning Tao was shocked. The bullet had gone by too rapidly, so he could not see clearly at all. However, the piece of rock had traveled more slowly, allowing him to see more clearly. He could deduce that, the bullet from the Mauser pistol had completely bypassed Bai Sheng and the Soul-devouring Urn, ending up on the stone wall behind them!

“I've said it, it's no use. You all must die here. This time I will not give you any chance to escape!” Bai Sheng's voice.

Bang bang bang!

Ning Tao fired at the Soul-devouring Urn and Bai Sheng thrice consecutively.

The three bullets still could not hit Bai Sheng and the Soul-devouring Urn. Ning Tao placed the Sacred Needle back into his small medicine chest.

I will become the leading pioneer of this era and accomplish great things. You rascals are merely ants before me. Consuming your flesh and soul will make the Soul-devouring Urn's tool soul stronger. Then it will assist me to become the Demon King of the Orient!”

“You're sick, you need to come see me,” Ning Tao said nonchalantly.

Bai Sheng suddenly jerked forward, as the Soul-devouring Urn had tilted all of a sudden. The mouth of the urn had been pointed towards Ning Tao, Qing Zhui, Bai Jing and Yin Molan.

Only then did Ning Tao see the interior of the Soul-devouring Urn. It was like a black hole, no light could touch it, there was no reflection. A mysterious jet black energy swirled within. It felt as if that whirlpool could consume the souls of anyone who looked into it!

Just as the urn was directed at Ning Tao and the group, Ning Tao pulled the trigger and shot directly with all his might at the urn's “black hole”.

With an intense sound of explosion, the whole place was shaking!

Ning Tao was faster than Bai Sheng at reacting.

The convenient door which led directly to the Sky Clinic suddenly opened out of nowhere. All the horrifying energy released from the Soul-devouring Urn had entirely rushed into the convenient door.

It was like nothing had happened.

It felt like the energy from the Soul-devouring Urn was a small stream that had flowed into a vast lake. It had not left a single ripple, much less any waves.

A buzz of the tripod!

Before the convenient door could disappear, an even greater black and white wave of energy suddenly rushed out from it. Bai Sheng and the Soul-devouring Urn were the first to be hit. Both person and urn were sent flying into the stone wall.

The whole stone wall collapsed all of a sudden!

Boom!

The whole place was shaking tremendously. The cave within the mountain had collapsed, pieces of rocks and stalactites were falling from above, crashing to the ground loudly. A relatively smaller piece of rock had hit Ning Tao on his head. Despite being shielded by spiritual power, Ning Tao still ended up dizzy.

“Go!” Ning Tao yelled. He pulled Qing Zhui's wrist, and she pulled Bai Jing's wrist. The three of them created a line and charged into the convenient door.

Nobody held Yin Molan's hand. Nevertheless, Yin Molan overtook them, and became the first to rush into the convenient door.

The man who was unloved only had himself to be loved.

The convenient door disappeared. A rock which weighed a few tons had crashed in the position where Ning Tao and the group was initially at, then the entire cave collapsed. A depression appeared in the mountainside.

Nobody had seen the pair of moving green eyes in the dark corners. There was also a repeated clunking noise like something was rolling…

Back at the Sky Clinic, Ning Tao promptly carried Qing Zhui and charged outwards. During which, he took a glance at the interior of the Sky Clinic. The impact from the Soul-devouring Urn's ghost fire was not weak. He was even worried that it would damage the Sky Clinic, but after seeing the place for himself, he realized that his worries were unnecessary. The Sky Clinic was completely intact. There was not even the slightest degree of damage.

Bai Sheng's Soul-devouring Urn was like an Alto car, while the Sky Clinic was a military tank. The two cars collided, and that was what happened.

Ning Tao ran out of the Sky Clinic with Qing Zhui in his arms. Yin Molan and Bai Jing had also run after them.

Qing Zhui lay in Ning Tao's embrace, her face looking pale and weak, her entire body was breaking out in cold sweat. She looked like she was in pain, yet she was not concerned about herself. “Brother Ning… is Bai Sheng dead?” she asked in a shaking voice.

Yin Molan and Bai Jing had shifted their gaze to Ning Tao. Both of them were clearly curious about the answer as well.

Ning Tao forced a smile. “I did not see it, but…” He paused then said, “I'm guessing he is still alive. Even my Sacred Needle to Nasty Diseases was not able to kill him. He wouldn't die so easily.”

“Do you mean he was buried under the mountain?” Yin Molan said.

“Let's hail a ride there to take a look. We still need to get our bikes back anyway,” Ning Tao said.

“I'll go with you,” Bai Jing said.

Ning Tao said, “It's okay. You and Qing Zhui should stay at home. Both Senior Yin and I can handle.”

“Alright, sister and I are injured anyway. We would probably become a hindrance there. You should be careful. Just escape if anything is amiss,” Bai Jing reminded him.

Ning Tao nodded, then laid Qing Zhui down. When he was talking to Bai Jing, he had been healing Qing Zhui with his special spiritual power, so Qing Zhui had managed to recover slightly.

“Let's go,” Yin Molan urged. He was worried about his motorcycle.

“Alright,” Ning Tao responded, then headed towards the entrance of the alley.

“Brother Ning…” Qing Zhui's voice came from behind.

Ning Tao turned back. “What's the matter?”

Qing Zhui pointed at Ning Tao's butt. “Go change into a new pair of pants. Your butt is exposed.”
