As the door opened, a young woman in a housecoat came into view.

"You?"

The short-haired woman and Ning Tao almost spoke with one voice.

What a coincidence! Ning Tao never imagined that Jiang Hao was the woman who almost fainted and he helped on the street. No wonder he got a sense of deja vu when he looked at the photo. If Jiang Hao had her hair cut short like she did now, he would recognize her at a glance at her photo.

"Do you... know each other?" Ge Ming asked, surprised.

"We met in the street." Ning Tao smiled and greeted, "Hello, Miss Jiang."

Jiang Hao suddenly grabbed Ning Tao by the collar and snapped, "Who the hell are you? How do you know I'm here?"

Apparently, the chance encounter on the street and the sudden appearance had touched her sensitive nerve as a policewoman.

"How did..." Jiang Hao was too shocked to speak.

Ning Tao loosened Jiang Hao's wrist and said, "Miss Jiang, I don't like to do things in a roundabout way. Let us be frank, I am a very special doctor. I'm here because I hope you take me to see your father and give me a chance to treat him. In return, I will make him kneel and apologize to your mother and make amends to all the people he hurt."

"Then what do you want from me?" Jiang Hao asked.

Ning Tao breathed a slight sigh of relief and replied, "After this matter, please give my friend a promotion and a pay raise."

Ge Ming gave a heavy sigh and said, "I knew this was going to happen. She doesn't even know us. Oh, how did you know her..."

Ning Tao was waiting outside a private ward with a young man.

This young man was Zou Yulin, who was Zou Yumei's younger brother and also the marketing director of Jiang Yilong's company. Ning Tao learned who he was from Ge Ming, who had left as soon as he saw Zou Yulin at the hospital.

Not long after Jiang Hao entered the ward, she quarreled with Zou Yumei.

"You're his daughter, I know that." Cried Zou Yumei's voice. "But have you ever seen him all these years? Have you ever taken care of him when he is ill? No, you haven't. It's me who have been taking care of him. It's me!"

"Would father and I have been like this if you hadn't broken our family?" Jiang Hao retorted. "How dare you say I haven't seen him? This is between him and me, not you! You have no right to preach to me!"

"Jiang Hao, did you come back to fight with me?" Zou Yumei suddenly wailed. "Yilong, you haven't died yet, and your good daughter is bullying me. How could I live without you... Boohoo..."

"Enough! My father isn't dead yet, don't cry like you're at his funeral!" Snapped Jiang Hao.

"Yilong, did you hear that? This is your good daughter. You're not dead yet, and your daughter says I'm crying like I'm at your funeral!" Ranted Zou Yumei.

Ning Tao sighed in his heart, "Jiang Yilong, this is what you deserve. Your own daughter disowned you, and your current wife wants you to die and inherit your legacy. What's the use of you doing so many bad things in order to make so much money?"

"I don't want to argue with you. Doctor Ning, Please come in," Jiang Hao's voice came from the ward.

Ning Tao reached for the doorknob.

All of a sudden, Zou Yulin stopped him and asked maliciously, "What do you want?"

"I'm a friend of Miss Jiang, I'm a doctor, and I was asked by Jiang Hao to check on her father." Ning Tao answered.

"Doctor?" Zou Yulin said, his face darkening abruptly. "This is the hospital with doctors. My brother-in-law doesn't need you. Stay out of this."

No need to be polite to him, Ning Tao said, "Whether Mr. Jiang needs my treatment or not is not up to me or your sister, but Miss Jiang. Who are you? Are you in a position to stop me?"

Zou Yulin was taken aback. He had no idea that an outsider would dare to talk to him like that.

Just as he was staring blankly, Ning Tao pushed his hand away and walked into the ward.

There was only Jiang Hao and Zou Yumei in the room, without special nurses. According to Jiang Yilong's situation, he should be in the ICU now, but Zou Yumei only assigned him a private ward which was only a little better than the ordinary ward. Her evil motives were abundantly clear.

This was the first time Ning Tao saw Zou Yumei. She was very young, in her early thirties, with a pretty face and a hot body. A woman who could hook up with Jiang Yilong was certainly beautiful.

"No!" Zou Yumei declined without hesitation. "This is a hospital, and there are doctors here. You can ask any doctor here to confirm your father's condition. But I won't allow an unknown doctor to see my husband!"

"He's my father! I have the right to ask the doctor to confirm his condition!" Jiang Hao spat angrily. "You put my father in such a ward, and stopped the doctor I bought in. What do you want? Do you want him to die as soon as possible and then collect his legacy?"

"You..." Zou Yumei's lips quivered with anger.

"You what?" Jiang Hao exclaimed. "I'm his daughter. I'm his blood, I have the right!"

"Jiang Hao, how can you talk to my sister like that?" Zou Yulin said with a straight face. "She's your mother!"

"What are you? Get the hell out of here!" Jiang Hao screeched while pointing to the door.

Zou Yulin fumed, "Jiang Hao, you've gone too far! I am your uncle!"

Ning Tao suddenly turned around, grabbed Zou Yulin's shoulder and pushed him, the so-called uncle, out of the ward.

Zou Yulin staggered outside the door and bumped into a person. The two lost their balance and fell to the ground.

Unluckily, it was Tang Ling.

"Ning Tao, you— bastard!" Tang Ling was totally freaked out. Ning Tao didn't expect Zou Yulin to knock her down!

Meeting Tang Ling was a headache to Ning Tao. "The patient needs a quiet environment, and your quarrels will affect him and aggravate his condition." Ning Tao said. "Miss Jiang, please go out with Ms. Zou. I need some space to do my work."

Taking his meaning, Jiang Hao catch hold of Zou Yumei's hand to take her out the ward. "We will influence Doctor Ning here, so let's talk outside."

"Let me go! Let go!" Zou Yumei struggled, but couldn't break away from Jiang Hao's grip, so she had to follow Jiang Hao to the door.

Tang Ling suddenly understood something. She quickly got up from the ground and screamed, "Ask the dean to bring security here, quickly! Someone is impersonating a doctor to cheat in our hospital!"

A large crowd soon gathered, mostly hospitalized patients and their families.

Tang Ling sneered, "Ning Tao, when did you become a doctor? You didn't pass your internship assessment. You don't have a medical license, or even a medical degree. How dare you pretend to be a doctor? You'll be expelled from school! No, people like you should go to jail!"

Zou Yumei suddenly became arrogant and shouted, "God! You turned out to be a fake doctor. Jiang Hao, what's your intention to bring a fake doctor to see your father?"
