My journey with an Endearing Stranger 11 Chapter 11

I was very happy and waiting for the moment I meet him tomorrow.Because, tomorrow I am going to propose him finally. This thought itself is fearing me inside. I feel like butterflies flying in my stomach whenever I think of him. It's a strange feeling right! I cannot explain this warm fuzzy feeling.

      This might be because I have been a shy type always. As I already said, I never expressed my inner feelings outside. Moreover, I never had such a strange feeling for some stranger. That is why this stranger is very special and important to me. I'm not sure if I could manage tomorrow ,but anyways I would like to go on with this daring step. If I don't do it this time, I may not be able to get him in my whole life. I might not be successful in finding one like him. He's the first person I admired,  liked and  loved..

     I can't even think of losing him. I don't know exactly why I was so attached to him . I think this is called true love. As great people say ,

"There is never a time or place for true love. It happens accidentally, in a heartbeat, in a single flashing, throbbing moment."

  Yes! They were right.True love doesn't need a plan.All that required is just a right moment. This quote invoked me of Chase.

  It was 11 pm. I saw a shadow near my door which is well-lit even at this late hour. My door is partly closed. I stared at my door and then someone pushed it. I was keenly observing it.

   Oh! It's my mom.She looked sleepy.Chase's pictures were spreaded all over my bed.I thought she has listened everything I spoke with Chase (I mean to his picture). I have not shared my feelings for Chase with my mom. I have not even told her about him.Because I never loved anyone till then.And I don't want her to get into high expectations just like every mom does.

     First of all I wanted to make sure whether I was doing right or not. I thought that I should tell her all about this after getting some clarity.My mother came towards me and she saw all those paintings lying on my bed and looked at me. I thought she's going to ask me about this man and my conversation with his picture.But no! Instead she ignored everything and said,

"Hey Dear! I've been observing you from the past few days. You look so happy and energetic. I'm happy for you  Helena. I'm not going to ask you about the reason for your happiness. But I wish you should be happy all the time. Thanks for the one who's making you happy. Always stay blessed dear."

  Having said that ,my mom placed a kiss on my forehead and insisted me to sleep as it was already late and soon she left the place. I felt a sense of relief and was happy for my mom and I said in myself,

"You'll get to know about him soon mom...", saying this I got a smile on my face.

   Holding the letter,I wrote for him, I thought, I should tell my mom about this after giving this love letter to Chase.Later I looked at his picture.

  Once again I tried to hide myself from his killer looks. I had many thoughts in my mind right at that moment.

"What he might be doing now?"

"Is he thinking about me?"

"Or do he have someone else loving him like me?"

Feeling confused with all this stuff, I managed to sleep,but I couldn't.

Suddenly I woke up from my bed.

"What if he is in love with someone else?"

  This question made me mad for a few seconds.No! He'll not do this for me. I strongly believe in my love. I know that I was expecting much. But his every action makes me expect more and more . Later I slept.

Chase POV:

   It was about 11pm . I was still awake because I was busy in flying on her thoughts.Whenever I feel bad for something or whenever I was not in a good mood, her thought itself is enough to change me into a chirpy and a whimpy kid. Her mesmerizing cute little face looks so attractive that I cannot resist myself from looking at her.

" Thank you for coming into my life  Ms.Strawberry....."

   Suddenly,my phone rang in a high pitch. I searched for it all over my couch where I was lying for the past few minutes. I checked for it in my pockets too but couldn't find it.I searched for it everywhere.Finally I succeeded in finding my mobile in my room. I took it and sat on my bed.

It was a stranger call. Being confused, who might be calling me at this late hour, I picked up my phone.

Stranger: Hello, Chase....

Me: Yes. Who's this?

Stranger: This is Hailey.......

   Having listened to this, I slipped off my mobile from my hand.
