My journey with an Endearing Stranger 8 Chapter 8

It was 7'o clock in the morning. I still felt drowsy but managed to get ready soon as I was desperate to meet my Strawberry after a gap of one day.

I know it's not a very long time since I saw her,but it was like hell without my Strawberry.

  Very soon I got up from my couch, where I slept yesterday thinking of her. I got a bath very quickly.And then I put on a black shirt with a blue jean which obviously suits it.Then I started at home and very soon I reached the station.

   I was very punctual as if I was about to attend a meeting. I sat in the same place we sit everyday. I looked out if I can find her outside.But she has not arrived yet.Hm! Thoughts rolled in my mind.

"What if she doesn't come today? "

     I know my thoughts were childish. I was never interested in cheesy stories and works before.But now, though I know our journey looks cheesy for the rest of the world,it is not so for me.Because I enjoy my every moment with .Altogether, I enjoy our journey.

   Suddenly,she entered into the screen. I felt happy that she came finally. Asusually she was cute and alluring.While I was busy in staring at her, she wished me Good Morning which means a lot to me because I have been waiting to listen to her sweet voice.Then I wished her in return.

  We had a close eye contact for sometime. Later we had a lot of conversation.

   I asked her what she does and where she works.I know this very earlier but still I pretended to ask her inorder to have some discussion between us.She paused for a second and then looked into my eyes and gave me a neat smile.After a few seconds of silence,she told me

"I'm a fashion designer Chase"...

  I really felt something in my heart when she called my name.Maybe this is because I was attracted to her.To her cuteness actually.

I actually wanted to know the reason behind her sadness.So, I asked her what she likes,her hobbies,her interests....etc.I know that she's an introvert.But , I tried to speak to her.I never expected that she'll speak But ....Yes!

She did!.She began telling me about her life...

Helena POV:

I think Chase wants to talk to me just like I do.Hmm! It sounds good....

"Chase... As I already told you, I'm a fashion designer. I work as an assistant manager in XXX company. I was passionate about designing. I always wanted to be in a position where the world recognises me. I want to prove myself Chase... to this world", I said.

  I never shared my inner feelings with others except Julie.I don't know why,but this man is changing me.And moreover I'm getting comfortable to share my views with Chase.

  He asked me about my family and how I was about to read Chetan Bhagat's books. I told him about my mom and dad and later, I told him,

"Chase.... Basically our family belongs to the Indian community.Our ancestors settled here long back ago. I was born and brought up here, but I'm an Indian. I don't know how I got habituated to reading Indian books.But I am a regular reader of Chetan Bhagat's books. I really enjoy reading them.And by the way, I love watching bollywood films.Especially, those of Karan Johar's

. I just love them."Kuch kuch hota hai,Dil waale dulhania le jaayenge" are my all time favourite movies."

  I spoke to myself,"Helena control! don't speak too much and act weird!"..
