My journey with an Endearing Stranger 21 Chapter 21

I felt very excited when Chase asked me to meet Helena. So, without any delay I picked up the file given by Chase and ran downstairs to take my car. Ofcourse, I did my asusual preparations to meet her. I placed the file on the seat beside me and started moving.

Hm! According to the google maps, I was about to reach their hotel in ten minutes. I always prefer these Google maps. Because, they always give their help to the absent- minded people like me.

"Thanks Google!", I laughed for a while.

A few minutes later, I reached the hotel. As soon as I reached there, I saw Mr. Harry in the ground floor. I moved towards him after coming to a conclusion that he saw me. He then wished me "Good evening" and ofcourse I too wished him in return.

He looked so anxious as if he wanted to know why I was there. Before letting him ask me that ,I showed him the file I brought along with me. I told him that the file had all the details regarding the next project with their company.

Having listened to that,he appeared very happy. For about a few minutes,he began saying all about their company,their records and everything. Though it's impressive, I actually felt little bored with that.

Only then, it has stroken me the main reason I was there. I went there especially to meet Helena.

" Mr. Harry, I'm very glad to meet you. But,now I have to meet Ms.Helena if possible . We decided to give you this new project being impressed with Helena's work. So, I'd like to meet her at once. And moreover, Chase wanted me to explain her all about this project.... c o m p l e t e l y. . . . . . ",I said.

Mr. Harry then said,

" Sure... Mr. Jason. She's upstairs in her room. It's 206....."

" 2 0 6....., thanks Mr. Harry " ,I said and very quickly I moved from there. Finally I reached the room 206.

I stood outside for a few minutes. I don't know actually why I hesitated to go inside. It might be because, she's Chase's girlfriend and I need to deal with her properly. So,as a part of that, I need to prepare myself.As Chase already said , I shouldn't talk too much and make my cheap thrills there.

" Haha! I think that's impossible. This is Jason here.....", saying this, I laughed in myself.

Moreover,this is the first time I was meeting her personally. Okay!....

As I can't wait anymore,I started ringing the doorbell. There's no response from inside.I don't know why she's taking a lot of time to open the door.

" What is she doing inside? Huh! It's irritating me...."

Actually,to be frank, my patience levels are very low. And I have weak anger management too. But, I tried to cool myself and waited for her to open the door , because it's Chase's life matter. I cannot compromise in this.

Slowly, Helena opened the door. She was wearing casual clothes and has tied her hair up as a messy bun. She appeared dull. ( I don't know why...) Definitely... Should accept this.

She's gorgeous even when she's moody. And I'm sure, Chase will be really lucky to have her....

While I was busy staring at her, she wished me a pleasant evening and welcomed me inside. I entered her room slowly and walked after her. She sat on a chair and I lied on the couch.

Though she is literally giving me a welcome smile, her pain and sadness is clearly visible.I can understand that. But, even then, she spoke with me so politely.

So ,inorder to divert her mood, I started talking. Firstly, I congratulated her on the success of the meeting. Later, I said...

" You really did a great job . Your work is very impressive and coming to your designs , Aw! They were fabulous....."

I started speaking all this and only then I observed, her cheeks became red and she smiled a little asking me to stop praising her. Until then she looked as if she's disturbed with something.We both laughed for a while.

She then offered me coffee and we had usual conversation for a few minutes.

Later, I showed her the file and explained everything in detail about the next project. This discussion went on for an hour. I said that Chase told me to give this file to her. She's fine until then. But whenever I spoke about Chase, she has got some changes on her face. It is actually a mixture of a little quantity of hatred, some pain and sadness etc.

I thought everything is fine between Chase and Helena. But it doesn't seem like that I expected. Something wrong is happening. I need to find it soon. I was speaking to her normally, but the thought of why she's so sad is haunting me inside.

Later, I observed some of the drawings made by her on the table beside us. I quickly grabbed one on the top and looked at it keenly. It was a lively sketch. It was so good that it reveals her talent out very well. She's a great artist. But...I've not even asked her for permission. Instead I grabbed it.

" Oh shit! What is she gonna to think of me? Disgusting man!..."

I then looked at her, asking her if I could see them.

She said ,

" Fine... Sir"

I then took a bundle that is placed on the table and asked her if I could take those sketches for a while with me. I told her that, we actually wanted to have some sketches already made by her.

" I don't think you'll have problem taking these with me,Ms. Helena..... I guess!"

She said, " Of course , sir... You can take them with you...."

" Thank you, Ms. Helena. All the best for your next project. We'll catch up in the party, day after tomorrow. Have a nice day.....", saying this, I stepped out of her room with the huge bundle in my hands.

I finally reached home after a few minutes. Helena is really a nice girl. Apart from her talent , she's a good-hearted human. The way she speaks with everyone is highly appreciable. She speaks with everyone in the same manner.

If I list all her qualities, it would become a book for sure.

Everything is fine, but she's disturbed with something. Did someone hurt her? I have to solve everything.

" Should I say this to Chase that Helena is upset with something?", I thought this for sometime. But, later I realised that I shouldn't. Because, Chase too will get upset with this.

" So, let's solve this on my own....."

While I was thinking all this, I heard the footsteps of Chase , coming down....
