My journey with an Endearing Stranger 30 Chapter 30

 I know it's excruciating when someone you love , loves someone else... The reason is Hailey.... She gave Helena fake assurances that stated that they were still in love with each other. She spoke as if everything was fine between them. This might have hurt Helena a lot.

    Moreover,she projected herself compelling. Listening all the shit told by her, Helena was petrified. Her fear was transparent. This may be one of the reason why Hailey might have come to a conclusion that Helena is weak. I kept on exaggerating everything after listening to all that happened between Helena and Hailey.

After a pause...

"You are the reason for his happiness.... Helena! Remember!!", I added....

   I saw some sort of happiness in Helena . Her water-filled eyes were revealing everything. It clearly depicted her love towards him. But still at some point , she looked worried....

Having known the reason why she's disturbed, I started saying....

" Helena ! Look....! There's nothing to worry about him. He will be alright. I know you're worried that something bad may happen to him by Hailey...

        But,listen! She is nothing!

        Absolutely nothing!

    She can't do anything to Chase. Don't waste your time thinking of her....

Now go and prepare yourself for the party tonight. It's going to begin at 6 o'clock in the evening. And Chase will be waiting for you there....

   I hope you'll not disappoint him this time....."

  Well.... I'm leaving now.... Helena... I am fully satisfied after getting to know that you too love him .... Thanks there.....

   Very soon , I left the place. I was really very happy for both of them. I think everything is solved between them now. And I should go home as quickly as possible because I have to tell Chase everything so that he will be overjoyed....

Chase's POV:

The day Chase waited for Helena in the restaurant:

  I was disappointed as Helena has not attended the restaurant. But soon when I saw Jason there , I tried hard to act infront of him since he can't see me crying.

  Later, we went home and we slept...

   Next day morning:

It was the day I've been waiting for. Yeah! Today we're going to have party for which we obviously have welcomed Helena ....

   Though I was upset as she has not attended yesterday, I still had some hope that she'll not do the same this time.... Moreover,the assurance my buddy, Jason has given me, made me cool down a little.

   It was about 10 o'clock in the morning ,I guess. I was still lying on bed. With a partly opened eyes,I saw Jason searching hurriedly something all through in the cupboards. I questioned him what he's searching for and where he is going to ...

   He looked at me for a second looking as if he's trying to frame something inside. Later, he managed to say that he's searching for the car keys since he's going to meet his old friend. He grabbed the keys and left the place soon....

I wondered who that lucky friend is to whom Jason, the man who is well known for his laziness, has given appointment to.

   I got up and after doing my daily routine, I sat on my couch . I felt there's no point in thinking too much. So, I thought of relaxing myself. But,her thoughts kept on dragging me towards her, inturn making me think of her more and more. But still I should admit it.... I really enjoy thinking and recollecting our memories.

   Whenever I look back on the day I first saw her, I seriously feel I am the most luckiest person ever. It's not just her appearance that has captured me but there's a lot to describe about her goodness.

    She's so sweet,humble ,talented and the way she communicates, has impressed me to a great extent. Her every action made me desperate to meet her. Only I know how I have spent many sleepless nights thinking of her.

   All of a sudden ,my eyes went on the bundle placed next to me. I guess they're the sample sketches which Jason borrowed from Helena on the day he met her. Those again reminded me of the sketch ,she displayed in the meeting.

    It is clearly perceptible that it was none other than 'me'  in the sketch. Everyone might be busy looking at the designs but my eyes went on the person wearing those. Though few appeared as if they identified my sketch, they remained silent thinking that it's not so important at that moment .

  I questioned myself once again....

"If I am no one to her,then why did she made my painting?", I actually keep saying this to myself whenever I feel low.

I slowly opened the bundle. It owned beautiful sketches, each portraying something interesting.

  While I was busy checking out each outline from the pile, I felt something slipped on to my feet from the bundle.

I placed all the paintings aside, inorder to check what that was lying on the floor.

   It looked like a piece of card or in the other sense,it looks like a letter or a postcard. Immediately, I leaned forward at picked it up....

I opened the envelope and conformed that it was nothing but a letter. I felt it's nothing important and might be just a piece of paper struck in the bundle, so I pretended to throw it on the couch.

I managed to look back at the paintings but I had my eyes sticked on to the partially opened letter.

  The letter ,since it was partly opened ,it displayed the top most line written on it ,stating that

"A Love Letter"...

My heart skipped a beat looking at it.

  Swiftly, I plucked the letter and started reading it.....

"

Dear Chase,

   I love the way you look at me...

   I love the way you treat me....

  I love the way you talk to me....

  And I love the way you adore me...

  Altogether, I love you Chase....

I was high on cloud nine when I completed reading the letter.

After the letter was scrutinized, my eyes literally filled with happiness and all the emotions mixed altogether.

"   This made my day...

Finally ..... It's done !!

I got the answer I've been searching for.....", I spoke out loud conveying this to myself saying that it's true....

All of a sudden, I heard someone stepping inside...
