My journey with an Endearing Stranger 12 Chapter 12

For a few seconds ,I was completely drowned. I was not in a situation to understand what's going on. My hands began to shiver. Not even a single word came out of my throat. I wished it should be a nightmare so that it would not be a true situation. I was not able to differentiate what is true and what not is.

     After a few seconds, trying to come back to my own senses,I picked up my mobile which was lying on the floor and slowly I kept it near my ear.

I can listen her voice. It was bold and straight forward.This tone was just like the one I listened last time when I met her.

Hailey: Chase!.... I want to talk to you.

After listening to her, I decided to speak out all that I wanted to.

I then replied her.

Me: No! You don't have to.

Hailey: Chase.... Please don't talk all this stuff. I am sorry.Please forgive me,Chase...

Me:  It's all over... I don't want to talk to you anymore.Please leave me alone.

Hailey:  Aw! It hurts me Chase. Talk to me. I'm pleading you.

Me: Tell me exactly why I should talk to you? I still remember every act you did,every sin you committed and every incident you moulded towards yourself, playing with me.

Hailey: But Chase , I'm sorry. I want to solve all the disputes between us. Please Chase ....

Me: No! You have nothing to do with me. I never wished to listen to your voice again.So please leave...

Hailey: Chase....

Me: Stop playing with me. I'm no more the one you're thinking of. I don't even want to call out your name.

Hailey: ......

Me: You know what! You don't deserve to speak to me. So,let's stop this conversation right here.

Hailey: No Chase. Don't do that.

Me: You cheated on me very badly. Don't you remember that?

Hailey: Yes I do.But....

Me:  It took over many years for me to get rid of depression caused by you. Now I'm leading a very happy life. So, don't even think of coming into my life again. Good bye..

   Saying this, I have cut her call and took a deep breath. I got many calls from her later.Feeling highly irritated with her, I switched my phone off and threw it on my bed.

This lady,has changed my mood. I had a very sad flashback with her. Totally,the only feeling I had for her right now is HATE...

        " Yes!I hate her.....

           ,I hate Hailey"

  It took me years to come out of her terrible thoughts. I got a glance of the sad memories I had with her. All those incidents in my past left me in tears. She has totally disturbed me.

I'm a very happy man now. This changeover is because of my Helena.I stared at the ceiling and I lied on my bed and thought,

"Why did Hailey call me again after a very long time?"

"Is she planning something?"

I still hate her. I think I need to get her out of my mind now.

    I know I had some feelings for Helena . I don't know what it could be called.Infact, I never expressed this feeling. But I'm sure,my relationship with Helena is going to be something different from Hailey's.

  It was 7am. Last night, I felt it horrible listening to Hailey again. I thought I should  move on this time. So,in an urge to meet my Strawberry soon, I did my daily routine and packed all my stuff for my office and locked my door to reach the station. Quickly, I took a cab to go to the station. I reached there in about a few minutes.There in the platform, I looked around for Helena. I heard a sound from backside.

     I thought it was Helena.But No! When I turned around, I saw a lady infront of me in a black coat wearing a hat whose face was covered with a scarf. When I keenly observed her, I found that it was none other than Hailey,whom I spoke to last night. I was totally shocked to see her there after a long time. I kept my face out of her and I tried to move silently from that place. But I failed in doing that when she caught my hand. I stopped for a second and then tried hard to pull my hand from her.

  I warned her seriously to leave my hand. Then,she left it and tried to say something. I shouted at her and said ,

"You cannot understand the pain I underwent when you cheated me Ms.Hailey.So,better leave now."

   She again asked me to talk to her and not to leave her. I acted harshly and told her very clearly that it was all because of her actions in the past which left me in depression, I'm going to leave her now. I wanted her to get the same pain I experienced. I wanted her to show how it feels like when someone whom you believed in,more than you  believe in yourself cheats on you. I had a serious revenge on her.Later she began asking me repeatedly in a high tone  if I was loving someone . Then I took a deep breath and I let words come out of my throat loudly saying ,

  " Yes!....

      I love Helena...."

   She's much better than you Ms.Hailey. I strongly believe in her. She'll never leave me as you did.

Infact, I only thought that I had some feelings for her till now. But now, I think, I could come to a conclusion that I love her. Please don't come and disturb us again.
