Chapter 66: Whose Name Is She Calling? Part 2

A big hand with slender fingers and well-cut nails gestured in front of her eyes. This action brought Bai Qingyan back to her senses. She threw the script aside and saw Gu Yezhi lift the quilt and lie down. She was very conscious of his arms around her.

“Reading this script makes me want to be part of this.” Bai Qingyan proudly announced.

Gu Yezhi stared at her but didn't say a word. He knew everything about his wife. His eyes lingered on her stunning face and eventually lowered until they fell on her red lips.

Her skin was fair and her hair was pitch-black, with a strand caught on her lips. Those lips were even more gorgeous. 

Like a seductive flower, the bright color made people want to approach but also made them want to stay away. Similar to a poisonous mandala flower, she was enchanting and dangerous.

Gu Yezhi swallowed dryly. He remembered that, outside the restaurant, Bai Qingyan had hugged him. His heart couldn't help but jump at the memory.

He was indifferent and cold-hearted to anyone, but all his defenses were useless against his wife. She could easily stir up the lake in his heart, which had been still for many years.

Gu Yezhi did not hesitate. He pulled the strand away from her lips, hung his head and kissed her.

Bai Qingyan endured his kiss, going so far as to hold his neck with one hand and grope around with the other, finding the switch and turning off the lights.

Her eyes were blurred but she did not fail to answer him. “Yezhi… Yezhi… “

Bai Qingyan passed out in a daze. Gu Yezhi made sure to give her a bath and ordered a servant to change the sheets while he held his lady in his embrace.

He was in a good mood, but he couldn't sleep. The room was dark and Bai Qingyan slept peacefully. She didn't stir when he gently caressed her cheek with his finger. “Yan Yan…”

Yan Yan… Why don't you love me?

His usually indifferent eyes now showed only sadness. He didn't remember how long he loved her, but she never loved him back. 

Originally, he thought that as long as she accompanied him, it would be fine. But in the dead of night, his pride would haunt him, tormenting him and keeping him from sleeping.

The next moment Gu Yezhi's hands spasmed as if he was going to strangle her. He truly wanted to, but he couldn't. 

He kept staring at her, watching as tears fell from her closed eyes and a painful expression appeared on her face.

“Gu Hang…”

“Gu Hang…”

“Gu Hang…”

She grabbed the bedsheets and twisted them, as if in pain. Gu Yezhi clenched his fist.

She lay in his bed, right after being intimately touched by her husband and she shouted Gu Hang's name. His heartfelt like it would burst from rage. He wanted to strangle her and kill his hateful nephew.

His eyes gradually went colder as his insides became as horrible as poison. He turned around and got out of the bed, his whole body shaking with pent-up anger. He left the room, knowing that if he stayed it was possible he would actually strangle her.

He didn't want to hurt her, he never did. He loved her. He wanted to cherish her, protect her from everything. His only wish was that she loved him back. But she didn't love him, she loved Gu Hang!

He already knew all about it! To marry Gu Hang, she wanted to help his nephew steal everything that belonged to him.

Even though he thought she did not love him, he still wanted to retaliate. He tried to get involved with other women, but he couldn't go through with it. 

He couldn't even hug them. His mysophobia was triggered whenever someone other than Bai Qingyan came near him and he ended up feeling sickened.

After that day when she beat him up and scolded him so angrily, he decided to not stimulate her in such a naive way.

He compromised.

But what about her?

What did she do?

She cried for Gu Hang in his bed!
