The next moment he put his hand on her chin and said, “Divorce is impossible! If you want to take care of me, take care of yourself first."

His hand was cold, but Bai Qingyan felt as though a fire was burning on her chin. His cold words however, let her blood cool. Bai Qingyan was silent for a moment and then asked, “What do you mean?”

Gu Yezhi glanced at her coldly. He stayed silent, then turned around and went to get dressed.

After a while, Gu Yezhi came out neatly dressed and passed by her. He said nothing to her save for a cold glance and then went out of the lounge.

Bai Qingyan eased her mood and followed out.

She sat down on the sofa and her fingers caressed her forehead. She looked at Gu Yezhi.

Gu Yezhi had changed into a gray shirt with neat buttons. He had just washed his hair and it hung down softly, adding a touch of affinity to his indifferent handsome face. His thin lips were clenched. He sat on the boss's chair and was carefully reviewing the papers.

He was so handsome even when he worked. Her lips couldn't help but gently lift up.

This was her husband!

She did not realize this but as she continued to look at Gu Yezhi's eyes she became more and more obsessed with him.

Gu Yezhi finally looked up and met her ardent gaze with sharp and indifferent eyes.

But the moment he looked at Bai Qingyan's fervent gaze, his hard heart softened and he clenched his pen. He almost stood up and walked towards Bai Qingyan.

But he refrained himself from doing it. He didn't.

He then coldly asked, “Do you have anything else?”

He was indicating her to leave.

The moment their eyes met, she started to look away. Then she pinched herself secretly.

Why did she feel so worthless now? She didn't even have the courage to look Gu Yezhi in the eye. This feeling annoyed her.

Hearing Gu Yezhi's indifferent voice, Bai Qingyan frowned slightly. She wanted to think, so she stood up and lowered her eyes.

“I'm fine, then I … I will go home.”

He ignored her.

Bai Qingyan was a conceited person so she turned around and left the office, in her mind she felt like she had been delusional. She thought that when she saw Gu Yezhi after her rebirth, she would cry and jump into his arms and then he would coax her and softly ask her what was wrong.

He silently warned himself in his heart. “Gu Yezhi, don't be soft. She is a born actress. It hurts you to see her lonely and that's why she is eating your heart out!”

Gu Yezhi forced himself to stop thinking about Bai Qingyan but her distressed face was swaying in his mind.

He dropped his signature pen on the table. Xue Ying and Xue Yun were both shocked, and they came forward in a nervous manner.
