Bai Qingyan sat motionless. Last life, Gu Yezhi would not be so indifferent to her, nor would scold her for being melodramatic after she was scalded. She had lost the Gu Yezhi who loved her deeply.

Bai Qingyan’s face was pressed on her knee, her head hung down in distress.

 Bai Qingyan glanced at the dishes he served, which were all her favorite foods and her favorite chicken wings. The room was filled with the pleasant smell of food, but she had no appetite. She shook her head: “I don’t want to eat .”

Bai Qingyan had forgotten, but Gu Yezhi had a serious cleanliness fetish. If he didn’t see how much she hadn’t eaten a while, he wouldn’t bring the food into the room. Because he couldn’t stand the smell of food inside one’s bedroom.

Gu Yezhi’s eyes squinted with satisfaction and he turned to go the bathroom.

Bai Qingyan ate in a hurry. When he came out wearing a bathrobe she had already finished her food. The maids take it away her tableware and did not forget to remind the maid to spray an air freshener inside the room.

Bai Qingyan silently glanced at Gu Yezhi as he dried his wet hair with a towel. She went into the bathroom to wash, came out and lay silent on the bed.

Gu Yezhi had laid down, closed his eyes, but his thin lips were clenched. Even with his eyes closed, he smelled a strong fragrance within the room.

Bai Qingyan glanced at him, then reached out to turn off the lamp. The room suddenly fell into darkness. She could even hear her heartbeat and Gu Yezhi’s steady breathing.

Bai Qingyan’s hand was clenched into a fist and her eyebrows were tightly knitted together. What happened and why did Gu Yezhi’s attitude towards her suddenly change upon her rebirth? Bai Qingyan wanted to open her red lips to speak but did not make a sound.

Gu Yezhi’s hand on the inside of the quilt clenched hard and the fragrance of this little woman gushed into his nose. Apparently, he was going crazy. Finally, he could not bear Bai Qingyan’s presence. He pulled her arm and pressed on her.

Bai Qingyan was startled. She looked at the handsome face of the man in the darkness and exclaimed: “Ye Zhi!”

“Shut up!” His voice was piercing to ears.

Bai Qingyan originally had a lot of things to say. But when he roared, all the words got stuck in her throat.
