Honey : The Empire's Treasure 392 The Visitors

"I told you, we were rushing it! We should have waited until I spend more time alone with him....!" Sienna could contain the humiliation she felt at the dining hall anymore. She yelled at her mother the minute they were far enough away that no one would overhear them.

Lady Delju looked at her daughter as if she was looking at the most stupidest person on Inay. The look Prince Ailwin had on his face as he looked at Mikaela, was one she was very familiar with. It was the same look Lord Mano would often give Lyra when he thought no one was looking.

"Sienna…did you not see the way Prince Ailwin spoke about Mikaela?" Delju ignored her daughter's tantrum, to look at the bigger problem.

"Huh? Oh yeah, he..he did say somethings about Mikaela..." Sienna look down at her feet and her hands at her side balled into fists.  

"...However!...That doesn't matter, I'm the older sister here. If anyone should be getting married next, it's me." Sienna wanted to block out Ailwin's words from the dinner, where he spoke about Mikaela so lovingly.

I won't lose my chance this time…

"Sienna, let's forget about Prince Ailwin… We shouldn't get on your father bad side after just getting out of home arrest." Although Lady Delju could see her daughter wanted to deny the fact that was in front of her, as her mother, she didn't want Sienna to waste her time on a man who would never look at her.

"You were the one you say Prince Ailwin would be mine!" Sienna hated losing but she hated giving up even more.

"Sienna! Did you not see at the dinner-"

"Mother!… I've always had to work harder and be smarter, just to get half of what Kamryn and Lula was given effortlessly! Prince Ailwin is in front of me, and I will get him to marry me. How long I have to wait to get what I want!" She didn't wait to hear another word from her mother as she stomped back towards their temporary courtyard.

Lady Delju stared at her daughter's back, sadden that she still can't give her everything that she wants. Wiping away her doubts, Lady Delju steeled her determination to get her daughter to marry Prince Ailwin.

Followed after her daughter's footsteps, Delju arrived at the courtyard and heard noise coming from her daughter's bedrrom. When she entered Sienna's room, she saw her pulling out all her newly acquired clothes.

"What are you doing!?" Lady Delju stop the girl from tearing the dress she wore tonight.

"My dress tonight wasn't the best to showcase my features. That's why Mika got all that attention from Prince Ailwin...I need better clothes!"

Sienna refuse to believe that the reason Ailwin didn't like her was because she wasn't her sister, instead she blamed it on her wardrobe.

*Sigh*

Lady Delju sighed, walking away from Sienna, "We can take care of that soon enough… In the meantime, if you want to Prince Ailwin we need to do something more drastic or your sister will be the one to get him instead of you."

"No! No one will marry him except for me! I deserve to have a Prince on my arms...Not Kamryn, certainly not Lula and definitely not Mikaela! I am better than any of them…!"

"I know...I know...but Prince Ailwin doesn't know that. I'll admit that I rushed the plan a bit resulting in it back firing on us. However, who would have thought that the inconspicuous Lyra would make a move." Lady Delju didn't think that after Lady Jaelah left, she would now have to deal with Lady Lyra.

"Then what should we do now?" Feeling her mother was back on her side, Sienna came over to sit next to her on the bed.

"If we can't get the Prince to fall in love with you willingly, then we will just to force him to marry you."

"….but..." Sienna wanted the person who she was going to marry to be in love with her, and only her.

"Do you want to marry him or not, Sienna?" Delju was trying to make her daughter realized that she wouldn't be able to have Prince Ailwin's heart and be his wife. She had to chose which one was more important to her.

"I do!... Okay, tell me the plan."

"First..." Lady Delju left the bed to walk to Sienna's drawers, to pull out a newly bought night gown. "...you need to wear this."

Sienna held up the garment in confusion. "What am I supposed to do wearing this?"

"If the innocent helpless maiden route won't work on him then we'll try the seductive one."

"Mother! You don't mean for me to throw myself at him, do you…?" Sienna held up her night gown.

"I'm not telling you have sex with him, but we need to make it seem that he need to take responsiblities for you... You said you wanted him, right?"

Nodding her head, Sienna went to the bathroom to change out of her dress and into the nightgown.

After reapplying her makeup and some beauty charms to her ears and neck, Sienna was ready to see her prince.

"Mother, how will I be able to get inside. The guards won't let me in." Thinking of those two guards at the guest courtyard, made Sienna shiver.

"Sleepwalk." Her mother simply said as she had already thought of an way.

"Sleepwalk…?" 

"En, when you get close enough to the Prince courtyard that you can see the guards, pretend you are sleepwalking. When you reach the gate act as if you want to enter the courtyard. Everyone knows not to touch or scare a person who's sleepwalking. Plus, you'll have these..." Delju held up a little device in her hand and a tiny capsule.

"What are these things?" Sienna took the device from her mother hand. It was ligthweight and small enough to be hidden in her pockets.

"It's a comm blocker. While its on, no one in a twenty meter circumference will be able to contact the healers or your father. The guards will have no choice, but to let you enter...and this.." Delju held the small capsule up. "Will ensure that Prince Ailwin will go along with our plan this time." 

"...." Sienna stared down at the two items in her hands quietly.

"What?"

"Mother it sounds like you have done this before."

"I was determine to marry your father."
