"When someone break a rule... there is a punishment, isn't there? Do you want to know what that punishment is?" The camera zoomed in on his face, focusing intently on his lips. Drawing everyone's attention to what was coming out of his mouth.

"Expulsion." Noting the frighten look on all their faces, had the speaker sneering at the little lambs.

"So, chose wisely... Oh, and by the way my name is Nylian. I am your President for this school year." Done with his speech, he left the stage.

"Okay everyone, look at the screen for your name and a color then look for the senior who is holding up the corresponding color. They will show you to your dorm. That is all." A female student, who was standing right behind Nylian, spoke.

In a flash, the names started to scroll down the screens. Each senior held up a colored flag, waiting for the new students to line up in front of them.

As luck would have it, Jonas, Saavi and Mika all got into the same color group, Blue.

Looking for the senior with the blue flag was not easy. A thousand new students were gathered here in the courtyard, it made them dizzy just trying to look where they were going.

"Look, over there!" Saavi being the tallest out of the three, much to Jonas' dismay, was able to spot a blue flag.

Another five minutes of pushing and shoving through the masses, mostly by Mika's doing, had them reached their destination. Standing there holding the blue flag was none other than their school's President, Nylian.

"Huh...more blue recruits? There is a lot this year... Anyway, move to the side, lambs. We will wait until all the students are gone before we leave." Nylian spit out a couple of moonflower seeds shells that was in his eating on the ground in front of him before popping more into his mouth. Unfortunately, they happen to land on Mika's shoes.  

Looking down, Mika saw the spit covered crushed shell sliding off the top of her shoe. Stepped in front of Nylian, Mika went to say something but Saavi was quickier.

Saavi swiftly placed her hand over Mika's mouth, sure she was going to say something to this President that he was surely not going to like. With the help of Jonas, they dragged her a safe distance away before releasing their hold over her.

"Pah!... Saavi, what you do that for!?" Mika wiped her mouth as she huffed.

"You were going to say something that will get you into trouble." Saavi put her hands on her hips as she looked Mika in the face.

"I was not!"

"Then what were you going to say?" Saavi crossed her arms in front of her chest.

"I was just going to politely ask that mofo get down on his knees and wipes my shoes clean with the sleeve of his shirt." Mika pouted, feeling wronged.

"..."

Jonas shook his head as he patted Saavi on the shoulder, "Good job...good job..."

"Hey, are you also part of the blue group...?" Hycis, the ice user from their testing group before, walked over with four other students. Among them was Celaena.

"Yes, you too." Jonas smiled, hoping his gentlemanly appearance will distract the people from his two arguing friends.

"En. I think everyone who scored high on the second test was sent to the blue group..." Hycis glanced over at Saavi and Mika. Noticing how Saavi was wagging her finger at Mika, he assumed that they are close.

Aware of Hycis attention on Saavi and Mika, Jonas tried to make fun of the situation before it gets out of hand.

"Saavi! Mika! Enough with the gossip. Come over and introduce yourself to the students in our dorm." He waved them over.

Saavi quickly wiped the scowl off her face and smiled as she dragged the pouting Mika over to the waiting group.

"Hello, my name is Saavi."

"Mikaela." They both introduced themselves to the group, followed by the five students.

"Hycis."

"Celaena."

The other three students were not from their original testing group, so Mika didn't really take note of them. Especially since a time controller was standing right in front of her.

"Hycis, was just telling me that he thinks that everyone who score high on the second test was put into the blue group. It seems like the blue dorm, is the high ranking dorm." Jonas spoke to break the ice amongst the students. 

"That's right, we are the elite in new students this year. That's why the President is our senior." One of the five, who Mika didn't bother to remember his name, spoke.

"No wonder we don't have as many students in our blue group as the others do." Another student pointed out happily.

Right now, the blue dorm consist of just over forty students. The others groups were well over sixty to a group.

Mika took a look around then a revelation hit her.

Wait! Am I part of the "popular clique"...?
