"Jonas, why do I feel like you're cursing me?" Mika had glanced at Jonas. He was giving Hycis a sympathetic look after seeing his awe expression.

Saavi lost all strength in her legs as she down hard Mika's bed. The information that Kaze spoke about painted a picture in her head that she couldn't run away from.

Jonas just stared at Kaze's face on the screen. He wanted to ask if he was safe and to not get himself into any danger, but the words wouldn't come out of his mouth.

Celaena had exited the bathroom and was sitting on the floor with her head between her legs, rocking back and forth.

Mika seem to be the only one of sound mind. 

"Kaze, what is Ailwin doing now?"

"He trying to get the communications back up in the city. However, from the last time I talked with him, it doesn't seem to be going well."

"And where is General Gilwenys?" At the mention of Braeden, Saavi jerked her head towards the screen awaiting Kaze's answer.

"You can't!" Saavi grabbed her shoulders turning Mika around to look at her.

"Who else will, Saavi? It's obvious the government has no plan to send help to those people."

"I'll go." Celaena's composed voice cut in between their conversation.

"I'll go."

"Why would you want to go?"

"There is something I need to see for myself…" Celaena's face looked haunted by something, but determination shone bright in her eyes.

"If it's something that might have a connection to what happening in Rowood then I need to know." 

Celaena stared at Mika before releasing a big breath.

"I'm sure everyone here has heard about my clan already…" Everyone nodded their head softly.

"There is only my brother and I left out of a clan of a hundred. Our clan used to live at the eastern border…" Celaena went quiet after the words left her mouth. Hycis, Saavi and Jonas couldn't understand what she was telling them, but Mika a tingling feeling flowing throughout her whole body.
