Outside the warships, Braeden was running on his last fuse. He and his soldiers had almost tried everything, but still they couldn't get inside.

With the sun about to set and thing left unsolved, Braeden did not want to walk back into that house to see the gloating brat's face.

Oh no, I'm getting in there one way or another…!

"Is this really necessary?" Ailwin had been staying on the sidelines watching Braeden and the men run around the warships all day. Now seeing Braeden ordering soldiers to bring several launchers, he thought he should put an end to this madness.

"Yes, it is necessary! How else are we supposed to get inside, Ailwin!?"

"How about asking Mikaela?" Ailwin pointed out the other alternative.

"Don't you dare say her name in my presence…! If she had just open hatches from the start, we wouldn't have to go through this….no, this is the only way…." Braeden was looking alittle unhinged.

"Um, Braeden, I think you need to relax a little."

"I am relaxed!… I will show that little brat that General Gilwenys doesn't need her help!" Braeden stormed off as he ordered the soldiers to grab the launchers.

Sigh...he doesn't even realized that if he blows up the ships then what will be the use of getting inside?...and does he really think Mikaela will just let him blow up her ships. Ailwin walked a safe distance away from blast range and sat down.

"On my mark, gentlemen!…" Braeden had twenty or so soldiers holding launchers on their shoulders, lined in front of both warships.

The men got into positions with their weapons.

"Ready…!"

Braeden faced the men and noticed that several of them had shock expressions on their faces. Turning around to look behind him, Braeden saw that the weapons on the warship were activated.

Thinking he was seeing stuff, he continued.

"Aim…!" Both the weapons on the aircrafts and the men on the ground raised their weapons at each other.

Although the Shadow Wolves soldiers are specially trained that didn't mean they weren't immune to death.

The soldiers looked at each other, was General Gilwenys going to let them be shot to death by the warships weapons.

"Cough…." Braeden cleared his throat a few times as he paced back and forth trying to test if the weapons on the ship were really aiming at them.

Walking to the right, the weapons on the ship moved to its left. Moving to the left, the weapons  on the ships moved to their right. They followed every direction Braeden went, treating him as a live target.

It wasn't lost on the soldiers either that the weapon on the warships were solely focus on their General. Some were even hoping that Braeden would move away from them so they wouldn't become collateral damage.

Ailwin saw the stand-off happening and contacted Mika.

"You're not really going to shoot my friend, right?"

"Ailwin, I do know what what my hand is capable of."

"Mika, right now you are scaring everyone."

"Ailwin... I scare myself sometimes." Then she disconnected.

"Ready…." Braeden call out as the launchers on the soldiers' shoulders and the weapons on the aircraft both lit up with bright lights.

Everyone around the group could see that this wasn't good. The soldiers lined up in behind Braeden could see that this wasn't a good idea.

Is that brat actually going to shoot at me!?….Nah, she wouldn't go that far….would she?

Braeden wanted to say 'FIRE', but something in his gut was telling him not to. 

With both sides ready and the weapons on, Braeden has to make his choice fast or the heat from the launchers would burn his men's skin.

The seconds ticked by as Braeden wanted to call Mika's buff. Sweat started pouring down the soldiers faces and backs as the strain from holding position wore on them.

"General…" One of the captains called out, wondering what General Gilwenys was doing just standing there.

"Fall back!" The whole encampment around the warships let out the breath they were holding.

The soldiers holding the launchers in particular felt relieved to put down their weapons and walk away.

With the threat gone the weapons on the warships turn off. When Braeden finally called a quits to the order, Ailwin walked to his side and clap him on the back.

"I think it's time…"

Braeden hung his head before yelling out his frustrations.

Back in her room, Mika was watching both General Gilwenys' and Commander Wynfina's actions.

Good...Rather than subduing these two myself, it's better to let the idiots tired themselves...like little hamsters on a wheel.

As most of her work was finished for the day, Mika thought she should check in with her friends back at school.

Using Ailwin's network to make a secure connection to Saavi's wristband, Mika sent a message that they were safe.

Moments later she received a reply.

"Glad to hear, but when are you guys coming back?"

"Don't know yet...but applied for sick leave."

There was a long while before Saavi reponded again. 

"Things aren't looking good here…"

Reading the message, Mika immediately made sure the network was guarded before telling Saavi to connect with her through video.

A few minutes later Mika was looking at Saavi face to face through a screen.

Although Saavi's appearance wasn't any different from when she left, her eyes and the set of her mouth told her a different story.

"What's wrong?"

Saavi didn't want to say as she looked around her monitor.

"Don't worry the connection is secure….tell me." Being away for weeks now left Mika out of the loop on what was going on back at the academy.

"Couple of weeks ago, Lula and Kamryn threw a big fuss in school. After the whole video and figh happen they became the joke of the academy.

Mika relaxed, "Eh...that's nothing new."

"This time the royal guards got involved, though. Several of them came to the school and arrested a couple of students, who had bad terms with them. Their families had to paid a substantial fine and give a public apology before they were released. Now everyone is walking on eggshells around them.... They also came looking for you."

"…." Mika was silently absorbing what Saavi was telling her.

"That is not all, there are even royal guards stationed at the school."

Mika did not like the sound of that.
