Mika tried to focus, but she was struggling to maintain a constant stream of energy outwards.

With her stamina already low from fixing Lord Tasar, saving Joanos was like a drowning person saving a drowning person.

She knew this was taking much longer than it did when she saved Lord Tasar, and though Joanos' injuries were not as bad as Lord Tasar's, Joanos was closer to death's door than Lord Tasar's was.

Resulting in her not only having to regenerate his organs, muscles, and skin, but she needed to help his body restore his blood.

"A little bit more, Mikaela...." Drako urged Mika to hold on for a while longer.

"...okay, stop!" Drako and Mika blew out a breath of relief.

"You can't regenerate any more people for a while, so don't even come looking for me again!" Drako having done his job left, Mika's sight.

With Drako gone, Mika left her mind space to check on what's happening outside. The minute she opened her eyes, she came face to face with Joanos' surprise appearance.

"What's happen? Where am I?" Joanos looked at Mika, then remembered everything up to where he lost consciousness.

"Wyn! Where is he!?" Joanos jumped off the couch and searching for his missing steward.

"He's dead," Mika stated, seeing that Joanos was about to give chase.

"Kaze killed him." Mika saw so exhausted that she couldn't even bother to raise her voice nor chase him around the room.

"What did you say?" Joanos came back to stand in front of Mika, who was still seated on the floor.

"Ugh...Kaze...Saavi...." Mika called for her people, to weakened to deal with Joanos.

Even though her voice wasn't loud, for the two individuals who were waiting for their young miss called with sensitive ears, it was just the right volume.

Kaze and Saavi quickly left their spot at the front door, in response to Mika's call.

"Young miss..."

"Miss Mikaela..."

Stopping in their tracks, they watched as Joanos nagged their young miss with questions.

"Joanos...?" Kaze looked at Joanos's lively figure jumping around the room.

"Kaze?...Saavi?...What are you guys standing there for?" Joanos was missing a chunk of time between when he was stabbed by Wyn and when he was revived by Mika.

"Young master Joanos, should you be moving around like that?" Saavi couldn't believe her eyes. Joanos, who was a semi-corpse, was now full of vigor.

Remembering his own injuries, Joanos stopped battering Mika and lifted up his shirt to check the wound.

Saavi who should have been shocked by Joanos's actions was more shock by the smooth skin under his shirt.

"How...?" Joanos distinctly remembered the pain, blood, and coldness of the dagger as in entered his stomach.

"I fixed you." Mika couldn't take their stupor expression any longer and wanted to clear the air as soon as possible. There was still danger lurking outside.

"Kaze and Saavi, fill him in. I'm drained, completely depleted. I need to try to restore some of my energy." Having said her peace, Mika used the last of her strength to claim Joanos' spot on the couch and closed her eyes.

"What does Miss Mikaela mean?" Joanos turned to Kaze and Saavi for answers.

Pulling Joanos away from Mika's sleep figure, she bought him towards the front door. Kaze, who was still stunned by Joanos' recovery, stood still in the same spot he originally stopped at when Mika beckoned him. Feelings of joy and gratitude flooded his heart.

Looking at Mika, sleeping figure on the couch, Kaze bowed his head and kissed the top of her forehead.

"Thank You."

Mika didn't feel a thing, she was dead to the world, but Kaze felt the blood vows renew his inside him.

"Sleep now, I'll handle the rest."

Walking away from Mika, Kaze joined Saavi in telling Joanos all that has happened.

Vanya and Kerala had a hard time making it to Tasar's office. As everyone else was running to the scared hall, Vanya and Kerala were going the opposite way. Many clan members who saw this found it to be suspicious.

After being questioned continuously, Vanya finally grew frustrated and chose a more isolated route back to the office.

Staying to the shadows, they were able to bypass all the clan members, but they happen to come across a situation which made them anxious.

Hidden behind a brush, Vanya and Kerala watched as a group of Udava soldiers and another group of Udava soldiers were fighting each other.

"Lady Vanya, what do you think is happening?" Vanya shook her head and just told Kerala to keep quiet.

Soon the battle came to an end, it was clear to see that one side was much more skilled than the other.

Wiping off their swords and making sure all their opponents were dead that swiftly removed their bodies from the area.

"Make sure none of these Vlacca men survive, remove every last one of them from the estate." The leader of Tasar's hidden guards instructed, before leaving the area.

After all the men were gone, Vanya and Kerala came out from hiding.

"Lady Vanya, what should we do now!?" Kerala has long lost her confidence in their plans.

"Shh! Let me think!" Vanya agitated, the plans she had carefully made over the years were slowly falling apart.

How could have known about Kendel's men? Did Kendel get caught...? No, they would have captured us a long time ago, when the clan members tried to make us go to the scared hall. Unless Tasar is alive...No! Kendel killed him, right?...

Feeling like she was going around in circles, Vanya decided to keep heading to the office.

"Let's go."

"Where?"

"The office...I need to make sure.."

"Lady Vanya....maybe we should just cut our losses, and leave now while we still can?" Kerala didn't want to end up like those Vlacca men. Watching them die so pitifully under the Udava men vicious swords made Kerala terrified she'll end up the same way.

"Kerala!... We have worked too long and hard for everything to fail here!... We just need to make sure Tasar is dead, as long as Tasar is dead, the Udava clan is ours...understand?" Kerala looked into her lady's eyes, found her last bit of courage to nod her head, and follow after Lady Vanya.
