"Like what?"

"Like...I don't know...a brat?" Braeden couldn't quite define Mika's character.

"My young miss is not a brat!" Saavi took great offense to Braeden's statement.

"Huh?... Are you so immune to it by now that you see it as common? Your mistress is one of the most aggravating people I have met in my life!" Since talking to Mika always made him feel like the losing party, Braeden was going to take it out on her maid.

"Excuse me!?..." Saavi couldn't believe a prince's general would speak of a fledgling like this.

"Yes, excuse you! Since you are older than her, you should do better in teaching to respect her seniors!" Braeden walked away with a pep in his step at being able to release some of his anger.

Baffled by Braeden statements, Saavi stood there stupefied watching him walk away until Kaze called her to come help him with Jonas.

"What's wrong?" Kaze had seen a general speaking to Saavi then stomp off while Saavi was left standing to place.

"Nothing... I just stepped in some shit..."

"What....?" Confused by Saavi' remarks, Kaze wanted more an explanation.

"Sigh...that general over there.." Saavi pointed to Braeden, who was helping soldiers load the Vlacca members and servants onto a shuttle.

"...said young miss is a brat and she has no consideration for her seniors." Saavi huffed as she helped Kaze get Jonas onto his motocyk.

"Well... Mikaela does tend to act outside of what a young miss is supposed to be-OUCH!" Jonas jumped from his seat of the motocyk.

"Did you just pinch me!?" Jonas was rudding the sore spot on the back of his arm.

"Yes! and I'll do it again if you ever think about bad-mouthing our miss young again!" Saavi held up her index finger and thumb in a pinching position for Jonas to see.

"Are you serious..?" Jonas moved back from Saavi's hand.

"Yes! Now that you are one of us, I can't kill you in your sleep...but that's doesn't mean I 'll tolerate you being rude to young miss. If I see or hear you doing it...." Saavi held up her pinching hand in front of Jonas' face.

"...and if this doesn't stop you, I've been taught how to dissect numerous animals for cooking, but I'm sure my skills can work on you."

"Saavi! You shouldn't treat your teammates like this!" Jonas is a little taken back by Saavi's violent demeanor.

"You haven't proven yourself as a teammate yet...besides as long as I don't kill you young miss wouldn't have a problem with what I do."

Saavi poked Jonas's chest, before leaving them to finish up the rest of the work.

"Is she serious?" Jonas looked at Kaze for verification.

"I don't know...I haven't been with them for that long to tell you if it's true or not..." Kaze said as they look at Saavi's retreating back.

"What have I gotten myself into....?" Jonas said off-handly, and he shook his head.

"It's your own fault," Kaze said to Jonas as he helped him back onto the motocyk.

"Huh..?"

"You did something so stupid, wasting everyone time and efforts...You have no one to blame but yourself..." Finished with his task, Kaze left Jonas' side to continue packing his gear.

Jonas sat on the motocyk with his broken leg and sore body, surprised by Kaze's words.

Looking back on his past actions, Jonas knew he was being selfish, but he already took a beating from Mikaela wasn't that go enough!

Glancing at Kaze's back, Jonas had thought that out of everyone Kaze would understand his struggles.

He had thought about his actions a lot last night after Kaze helped him to bed. And realized that he wasn't upset by Lord Kendel living a while longer, more it's the fact that Mikaela was able to do something that he couldn't after so many years after his family's death.

She was able to push Lord Kendel against a wall while being his captive and even was able to bring a prince to detain him.

I felt inferior. Even when Mikaela confronted me, I didn't want to admit she is better than me.

However, that beating must have cleared my head, and awoken me up to my reality.

Jonas looked down at his broken leg and smirked.

I am weak.

Both mentally and physically, I need to be more like Mikaela.

Silently lamenting his pathetic state, Jonas kept to himself until they were ready to move out.

Mika was changing the settings on the motocyk to fit her petite body when Ailwin approach her from behind.

"Need help?" So focus on modifying the settings she was startled by Ailwin's sudden arrival.

Jumping back in fright, Mika hit her leg on the foot handle of the motocyk making her trip.

Unable to right herself, Mika could only hold out her hands to brace herself for the fall.

"Watch out!" Ailwin hasty held out his arms to stop Mika's body from fall to the ground. Locked in his hold, Mika could barely breathe as Ailwin held her tight in a bear hug.

A few moments passed before Ailwin realized he was still holding her tight in his arms.

Releasing his hold, he helped Mika regain her footing before completely letting go.

"Thank you, Prince Ail..."

"You should be more careful!"

"...win."

Mika wanted to take back the gratitude she showed him at catching her. However, she bit back the remarks she wanted to say to him, and instead ask why he was here.

"Prince Ailwin, what can I help you with?" Turning back around to face the motocyk, she continued on with the adjustments.

Seeing that he overreacted, Ailwin tries to calm his anger before speaking again.

"Um, I just wanted to let you know that we will be leaving in ten minutes. I hope you and your people are ready..."

"En. We can leave whenever you ready to go. Also here..." Mika passed along a map to the Udava clan that Jonas had drawn out this morning.

Ailwin looked at the map and was confused.

"I thought you wanted us to escort you back to the capital city...?" Mika wanted that as well, but now that things didn't go as planned with Lord Kendel, she needed to speak with her father first, before he finds out about what her mother has done back home.

"No, I can't let my father waste a trip here to pick me up."

Ailwin wanted to comfort Mika after strategy failed when Lord Kendel died, but it seems the little brat already has another plan ready.

"Alright, we can drop you off there." Ailwin made to leave when Mika stopped him.

"Prince Ailwin, have you thought about the favor I asked of you from before...?" Mika was really hoping Ailwin could take Kaze.

"About your friend?"

"Yes."

"It's doable." With that said, Ailwin turned and left.
