Do You Have A Girlfriend?

"Don't you dare to sneak from here before you apologize to the lady."

The customers of the café also agreed with Theodore. Suddenly the owner of the café appeared before the boy and blocked the front door.

"Apologize, boy. Or else I am not gonna let you go from my shop. You have already tarnished my cafe's image pretty much."

"Yeah, apologize, young man. You should properly know how to respect a lady," an old lady also added her voice with him. There was huge chaos inside the café. The boy already realized he has no choice but to apologize to her.

Anna was enjoying the show quite well. This scene totally looked like a drama cut scene to her, especially when Theodore called out the boy with his super commanding voice. While she was having a good time watching the live drama and taking some notes from it like usual, Theodore grabbed Anna's hand and dragged her out of the café. Both of them were laughing while running on the footpath.

"Stop, stop, stop! Oh, my Goshhh! This is so funny! That guy was surely unfortunate today to be seen by us. If we hadn't stopped him, he would have run away. Thanks for the fun." Anna winked at him in gratitude.

They stopped running to take some breath. That girl had better give up on him. The café owner was not gonna let him go before apologizing, that was sure.

Theodore looked at her smiling face for a while which made Anna a bit awkward. What is he staring at?

"Is there something in my face?" Anna asked, being self-conscious.

"No," he replied chuckling. Oh shit... that made her blush. This guy, he is so dashing that Anna almost crushes over him every time he smiles. All of a sudden, a funny idea came to her mind.

"Heyy! Give a description of me now. What comes first in your mind when you see me?"

Theodore thought for a while.

"Hmm.... there's a lot of things...."

"Really?" Annabelle became happy after hearing that.

"What are those?"

Theo came a little closer to her. Suddenly, Anna felt a bit wary. Whenever this guy is a bit closer to her, her heart just goes wild. Theodore lifted his hand towards her as if he was going to caress her. His hands suddenly stopped as he was in some deep thought. Then again, he started to move his hand. He first touched her eyes with his fingers, then her nose, her cheeks, and lastly, he stopped his fingers before her lips.

"There are a lot of things..." He mumbled the same things again.

Never in her life, Anna was touched by a man like this. To be exact, she never allowed anyone to. Even she would get triggered if any man stands this close to her. She never allowed anyone before but why is she making an exception now? Why does he always catch her off guard every time? Maybe because his aura felt safe to her? Or maybe she already has a crush on him?

WHAT the heck is she thinking... NO! She can't just have a crush so easily. There was a rollercoaster of thoughts going through her mind. But suddenly it stopped running when Theodore bent down at her height to know what crazy thoughts she was having.

OMG! Why is he this close?

"Hey, what is it?"

"Umm... then describe how those things come to your mind."

*SHUT THE F**K UP ANNA! What are you even doing? How come you are acting like a lovestruck fool just because he was a bit gentle today? You just met him yesterday for God's sake.... This is insane. Totally insane.

"What I think....," he then stood up straight and looked at her eyes. "I think your dark, radiant brown hooded eyes, pretty. They reflect your inner emotions perfectly. And your nose bridge, it's cute and also matches well with your face. And then there are your cheeks, they look gorgeous when you blush. And....," he stopped for a while.

"Your lips, they are like daisy petals... which is enough to create the urge to kiss them..."

"Hey hey! Stop! Ok, I am sorry. I don't need any more description." Anna was blushing so hard that it was totally frustrating.

Theodore was a bit confused. All he did was give a precise description. I was neither romantic nor exaggerating. He just stated the fact. He just doesn't understand girls. Why are they so affected by a genuine interpretation?

"It's just a description, nothing else. Why are you nervous?"

"No, nothing. You won't understand. Let's go back if you don't wanna continue standing here."

Once in his high school days, a girl asked him whether she looked pretty as she specially dressed up to show it to Theodore. Actually, the girl was more of a cute type but she thought Theodore liked the matured woman as he rejected her before. But that kind of style didn't look good on her, so he honestly replied that she was looking ugly. Later that girl was so angry that she almost slapped him but regained herself somehow. From then, he gave up on understanding girls' complex mindsets.

Annabelle is also strange, stranger than that girl. Sometimes she is angry and the next moment she is smiling. It was too hard to fathom her mood. It's not like Theodore is accustomed to doing this kind of thing. Even she was the first girl outside of the family that he ever gave this effort to communicate. He just doesn't want to make her angry. But somehow, she is always angered by his actions. She is a good person. She helped him so much. It was his courtesy at least not to make her angry. Looks like he needs to improve his human relationship skills besides doing research on them.

Anna was making lunch in Kiera's kitchen for Theodore. They went to the convenience store to buy some necessary groceries before coming home. After going to the store together, Anna got to know that Theodore was so picky with food. He didn't let her buy vegetables but only meat. He is just like a big child.

At least, today she could know a lot of things about him that she didn't expect to know. Maybe he is just like that? Until you ask him, he is never gonna say something to you. Annabelle smiled on her own. How come Kiera got a carbon copy of her as a cousin?

Thinking about it, what is Kiera even doing? There are many handsome guys in Korea. But here she is thinking about Kiera who is maybe an asexual because these years she stayed by her side never saw her have any attachments to any boys and even any girls.

Can it be possible that she has a lover kept hidden for a long time? Then, why didn't she tell her about her lover? Doesn't she trust Anna? But Anna thought they were good friends.

Come to think of it, there was a guy at their company who used to follow her around. Who was he? His name... Owen, was it? Anna didn't leave the industry then. She sometimes saw Kiera with that guy. He seemed to be a good guy at a glance. She doesn't know if they ever dated or not as Kiera always avoided this kind of topic in front of Anna. But she did seem to have some mixed feelings towards him. Moreover, he was the only guy with whom Kiera was seen a few times but there was no news of that guy after she left the music industry. Did they have any relation of which she is not aware of?

Anna shook her head. Why is she even thinking? She's just reaching a conclusion that was maybe totally nonsense.

"What are you thinking about so seriously?"

Anna was startled. She didn't realize when Theodore stood behind her. Is he a cat?

"Nothing, just making chicken soup. You like that right?"

Theodore didn't say anything but just nodded.

"Okay, good."

Umm... should she ask Theodore about Kiera?

"Hey, Theodore you know.... Like what kind of cousins, you guys are?"

"What do you mean by what kind?" Theodore twitched her brows amusingly. What is it with her again?

"I mean are you close... like close enough to talk about anything personal like relationship advice and problems?"

"No, she doesn't like to talk about these topics with anyone in the family." He replied after a pause.

"Oww..."

That was the dead end. Both of them are really the same. Both won't spell a single word extra when they don't feel that necessary. At least, Kiera was better. Sometimes she would like to gossip with her when she is in a good mood. Maybe this guy named Theodore also has someone with whom he shares everything.

These kinds of thoughts kinda made Anna uneasy for no reason. Maybe she was not in her right mind because in the next moment she did something foolish.

"Do you have a girlfriend?" Anna asked, holding her breath.
