Chapter 8: Old memories die hard

Akil covered his mouth as an over bearing sense of vomit entered his mind. He backed up with fear consuming his eyes like a dim light as he began scratching his throat.

He couldn’t breath. The mere sight of the chopped up body parts completely horrified Akil as he felt something bump into him. He quickly turned around with haste as that feeling of fear only worsened. The memorable height alone sent Akil into shock as before him stood the giant from before. The giant quickly reacted to seeing him, and dashed towards him. His feet cracked the polished gravel itself as he leaped at Aki with full murder intent. Akil dashed away as his heart skipped a beat with the man in hot pursuit.


Akil ran as fast as he could, but it was no use. He was still injured and hadn’t fully recovered.He made a sharp turn into the living room as he shouted to the top of his lungs.



“Aaron get out here now!” Akil yelled out as he tripped on a piece of string that was placed in the gateway.

He got back up with haste as he quickly turned the knob to the front door repeatedly. The door was locked. Akil turned around as he jumped out of the way as the giant dashed, and busted the door open. Dust covered the entryway as Akil slowly backed away from it. A thought came to his head as he remembered what the giant had done to Cas. A partial sense of anger overcame him as he run into the smoke without haste.



Meanwhile( A few seconds earlier)





Aaron stood in the bedroom, as he stared down the masked woman. She held a machete up close towards his fragile and wrinkly neck, as he gave her a dead yet careless stare.

“Tsk,tsk, tsk, Mr. Aaron. You should know better than anyone what happens when you mess with the Business men. . . . Ms. Fernandez needed to die. She was a ruthless,selfish,greedy woman whose only thing she deserved was death!” She shouted with a clear upset tone.


Aaron smirked as he let out a faint chuckle.


“Who says you have the right to decide when people you deem evil die? You aren’t no god. Just a human like everyone else. That's what makes her different than you dumbass.” He said as he confidently smiled at her.


The woman let out an enraged grunt as she used the handle of the machete to backhand Aaron which knocked him out.

Akil leaped out of the smoke to see the giant on his knees.


“Your annoying you old pig! Just stop getting in our way!” The giant boomed as he threw his fist toward Akil.

He was quick to react as he dodged the punch, and threw a sharp right hook as it landed against the giants jaw, which sent him back a few steps. The giant dashed once again towards Akil but instead the moment Akil went for another right hook, the giant jumped into the air,and goes for a roundhouse kick. Akil acts quickly as he pulls the taser he gained earlier, as he landed it directly in his mouth.



Smoke erupted from his throat as the giant paused. Akil quickly thinking dashed back into the house to grab Aaron. Akil dashed around the house, as he stumbled upon him unconscious. Akil quickly lifted up Aaron and tossed him on his back. He shuffled his way out into the living room only to be stopped in his tracks by a sharp blade caressing his neck.


“Ah, ah, ah Sorry Aki, But this will be your last warning. Either you stay out of the way, or I bash you like everyone else.” The masked woman said as she pushed Akil out the door. Akil without thinking just ran.


He ran without looking back.

He ran without thinking about anything.



And he ran until there was nothing that he could run from anymore.
