Chapter 15: The illusion of Living

A odd feeling roamed the air.

The cold feeling of uncomfortableness.

The feeling of stress slowly crawling into your heart.

That never ending feeling of something weighing you down, as you start to feel the consequences of the actions you made.

Is it regret? No, you're too modest to have that. . . fear?

Can’t be that, there's nothing to fear yet. . . . oh, so that's what it is.



The feeling of guilt is endless , consuming the aspect of your heart.


Akil stared at Aaron who just stopped in his tracks and stared back at eyes as sharp as a starving snake. His cold gaze was abnormal for Aaron, mostly due to his old and weak looking posture, yet here he stood with such pride and confidence.

His sheer aura felt completely different. It was like a tidal wave slowly crushing him. ‘Akil. . . run. He said with a cold and dreadful look.

Akil felt intimidated by that and was quick to respond, and began dashing quickly to grab Chloe.

He ran into his room, picked up Chloe’s unconscious body, and dashed back out.

Aaron threw Akil a pair of keys and silently pointed towards the car behind him, which he quickly dashed for.


He opened the door and carefully placed Chloe in the passenger seat, and closed the door while taking a seat and starting the car.

The car’s engine roared as Akil stomped on the peddle and drove away freely.

He looked up in the mirror as Aaron simply just watched him leave, and a strange feeling washed over him.

Was it stress? Was it freedom? No… It was joy.

He finally escaped this hell.
