Chapter 410 [Rematch Against The Nine Rankers]
Travis had rented the one specifically meant for internal matches. While it lacked a barrier, there was a self-restoration system in place, and within the perimeter, students could unleash their full strength without concern. The danger of their battles was also minimized in the presence of a teacher referee. Naturally, such a space came at a high price.
Other than Ouranos own team, Travis had arrived as well. And filling up the spectators’ seats were countless students from the first and second grade. Julius, Dickson and Prince included. The audience members practically fell from their seats, eager to watch the second confrontation between the two teams.
Ouranos walked over to Julius and he grinned at her.
"Here to check us out?"
"I just want to see what you guys have learned humph," Julius said as she rolled her eyes.
"Same people like last time class president," Travis said as he pointed at his teammates. Lennon, Ana, Julia, Jared, Zyaire, Katherine, Alex, and Zion they stood there as they stared at Ouranos team who smiled brightly at them.
"It looks everyone is here, like last time the same team goes," Ouranos said.
Ezequiel arrived at the arena and he stared at the team.
Julius, Prince and Dickson watched Ouranos team with renewed vigor. To say the two were not a bit interested in their growth would be a lie, especially by the confidence they exuded. And although Prince, Julius and Dickson were not ignorant of the five rankers, they had never witnessed the rankers’ strength first hand. They had only had a taste of Ouranos team and only cared about his team. The one that had been strong enough to face the second grade.
Ever since she lost to Ouranos team the previous semester, Julius had devoted herself to cultivation. Two extremes had occured on that day: the first grade had won glory, and the second grade had been disgraced. Even though she considered Ouranos a friend, she still had to win back her class’ honor. No matter what, defeating him was a must this year.
To that end, another reason Julius had attended this event was to scout any potentially troubling opponents in the first grade apart from Ouranos's team. She had to be wary of any reserve members he could employ. Ouranos's team only had twelve people, just three short of the standard fifteen-man team. It was likely that the last member would be selected from three of the rankers.
The nine member rankers stood on the stage and Ouranos's team also stood on the stage as they stared at each other and they nodded their heads.
"Go!" Ezequiel shouted.
Lola made a move her move was so fast she went after Julia she smiled at her she remembers the last time she lost to her and it made her work even harder. None of the other teams held back at all.
Lennon and Jared dashed out to the sides to bypass Ouranos. Their targets: Solomon and Zander! But soon after, a shiver ran down their spines. They turned their heads for a brief moment and gasped. Ouranos was approaching too quickly, barrelling toward them as a one-man army!
In a split second, Lennon and Alex altered their trajectories, trapping Ouranos in a triangle formation with Jared.
The scene caused Katherine to knit her brow, her lips pressed firmly together. Given his wealth of combat experience, there was no way Ouranos could make such a simple mistake.
