Chapter 264 [Spirit Battle Armor Pieces]
Upon entering their rented workshop, awe shone in Travis's eyes when he saw how large it was.
“Elder Derek treats you really well.”
Ouranos also felt shocked that Elder Derek would be so nice to give him this kind of room.
The workshop was at least 150 square meters in area. The space was at least twice as large as what people could normally rent, and it was filled with all the best equipment and tools. An empty shelf for metals stood off to one side. All of this came at the cheap price of one thousand contribution points a month. Now this was the benefit of having connections.
"So this is what a blacksmith room looks like," Sage muttered to himself as he stared at Ouranos and nodded his head.
"Erenay did you finish the designs of the one spirit battle armor pieces? For the right arm?"
"Um yes but all I will need is feedback from the three of you guys that's about it," Erenay said she held out her hand and a beautiful pieces of scroll appeared the moment she opened the scroll, Everyone was shocked how well she made the right arm spirit battle armor but Ouranos noticed lines of something mysterious. Sage was also one of them who noticed this.
"You are a genesis rune master what grade you?"
Erenay ignored Sage's question.
“For the first piece of our battle armors, I decided on armor for our right hands. I chose this piece because it’s the easiest to use in combat and will immediately result in the largest increase in power.”
She unfurled the blueprint scroll in her hands, then pointed at the various drawings.
“Hand armor is made of separate parts that cover the actual hand, extend past the forearm, and go all the way to the elbow. So really, it’s armor for both your hand and forearm. This is the design I drafted for you.”
“You chose heavy silver, the main property of which is soul power amplification. After thinking about what would suit you best, I concluded that, since your hand can transform into the golden dragon claw, it would be essential for your hand armor to expand alongside it. To accommodate that, I added a transformation circuit core in the palm that will allow the armor to transform along with your arm. I also left holes in the fingertips of the armor for your claws since they’re already extremely sharp weapons anyway. To amplify your blood essence and soul power, I added circuit cores to the back of the hand armor. This is a dual-loop circuit core I specially designed…”
Erenay was quiet for a moment before she spoke up again.
“In comparison, each piece of two-word armor needs five circuit cores. These circuit cores have to be built into the metal itself, so high-quality refined metal is required. Thousand refined metal is the bare minimum for making one-word armor.”
“You can refine a metal twice?” He once heard that twice refined metal was essential in making battle armor.
Ouranos nodded.
"Than I think we have a better chance with this plan," Travis said.
"Tsk, you only follow what is good for you while he is the one who does the hard work," Sage said and he grabbed a piece of apple.
Each of the four had their respective profession, and all were talented in their own field. With their common goal to become battle armor masters, they temporarily set their differences aside to work together.
An hour later, four twinkling metals sat on the forging table. They were chunks of first-grade thousand refined heavy silver, magic silver, stygian iron, and thousand moment copper.
It had only taken Ouranos an hour to thousand refine four chunks of metal! Every time he finished, a beam of light shot a meter into the air, signifying that it had been imbued with spirit. Ouranos had appeared utterly relaxed throughout the entire process. Despite the discontent harbored for him, Lennon, Sage and Travis had to admit that he was the best blacksmith they could’ve hoped for. The four shining pieces of refined metal were proof of that.
“Do you have any suggestions for my hand armor design?"
"No I don't I believe in your skill."
"Even if I am blind aren't you scared I will make a mistake?" Erenay asked in a kind manner.
"I will still trust your skill."
Erenay eyes beamed with joy and she let out a sigh.
"Alright I did make you somewhat different from the other since your arm turns into a dragon claw I also made it the fact it can change with that kind of might."
"Really that's wonderful!"
"I will leave it up to you guys see ya!" Sage said and waved his hand as he walked off.
"Is he always like that?"
"You mean Sage? He and I went to the same academy his the type of person who doesn't like to work with other and he has many enemies all over the places, but if he puts trust in you, it means that he would whole heart what miss change whatever you do he will follow your lead without a question he doesn't work in teams but solo so yeah," Lennon said and stood up and turned around to walk away.
“Alright. I’m going to find Elder Derek. If you guys need anything, give me a call.”
When he left it was just Travis and Erenay.
Erenay tapped the ground with her bamboo cane.
"Has he always been this talented?"
"Don't you know? Some people are just blessed by the heavens," Erenay mattered and she walked off she of course still held a grudge toward Travis in her eyes she hates people who look down on Ouranos so she wouldn't want to be around them in any given second.
❄
Julius finished class and she noticed a bucket of large water her plants were all watered and she frowned who would be so kind to clean up all the work she had to do by herself.
She crossed her arms and tried to think. Was it Prince oh my gosh no that guy is way to arrogant for his own good cleaning is beneath his mind he already pays people to clean up his housing, was it Ouranos no way that guy either in the dining hall or the blacksmith shop he won't be kind. Then who would do it? She has learned the group she fought, Harmony, Chance, Kendrick, Genevieve, Solomon, and Erenay all of them are truly strong yet they follow Ouranos team. As he let out a sigh she narrowed her eyes and her eyes widen as she thought of someone that idea made so angry.
Zander he would be the only one who has the guts.
Julius picked up the two buckets and threw them and she let out a hissing sound.
"Humph fucking bastard let me not see you again!" Julius said and she raised her hand to smash her plants but she took a deep breath she can't ruin her pants she has been taking care of them for the past two years.
Zander saw this action and he let out a sigh.
Of course she won't be straight for giving him he should work even harder no matter he needs to work extremely hard and not give up.
It took her a long time to calm down. Letting out a long sigh, she pulled open the blinds. Since they know now, there’s no point keeping this charade up while at the dormitory.
She walked over to her bed and took off her coat and wig, exposing her dark-red hair. She took a moment to rub her face, her pretty features soon resurfacing. Then a popping sound emanated from her bones and she grew a bit taller, her womanly curves becoming more pronounced.
My original appearance really is the most comfortable!
She touched her cheeks, basking in the change, when all of a sudden, pain flashed through her eyes. She stumbled over to her bed, hands clutching her head as she toppled onto it. Her body began to twitch, and her jaw clenched so tightly that it was on the verge of breaking. Spasms wracked her body as her eyes gradually went scarlet. Tears streamed down her face as dread began to creep inside of her. All she could see before her eyes was a sea of blood.
“No!” she screamed, forcing herself upright.
As she sat on her bed gasping for breath, the door flew open with a bang, and a figure charged into the room.
“What’s going on? Are you okay?”
