Chapter 377 [Pressed Against The Wall]
Erenay eyes widen. She wrapped her arms around the pillow and pulled it closer to her chest. Her face became flushed she wasn't wearing her veil you saw each and every part of her blush. She looked at herself and then squeezed the pillow with her dear life. She tried to calm down she is an assassin and well trained at it, she is known to be treated as a princess in the assassin temple and the elders dot on her whatever she wants she gets. But no one in the assassin temple taught her how to calm her heart down. Girls developed faster than boys after all. And like most other girls, she already entertained herself with thoughts of romance.
Never in her life had Erenay allowed another boy to touch her. Not even the guys in their team. But for some reason, for some strange and wonderful and mysterious reason, she didn’t mind it with Ouranos. In fact, sometimes she even took the initiative. Owing to her dominating personality, she would often separate him from other girls she would even sent heating glares at other girls who would dare try to come near Ouranos she felt quiet jealous when other girls wanted to become close to Ouranos. While Ouranos, oblivious to this the first couple of instances, couldn’t help but notice these actions as time passed. As they occurred more and more often. He soon grew used to Erenay's hot and cold attitude toward him and her indifference toward everyone else. His special relationship with Erenay brought him joy, but deep in his heart he always knew there was some sort of barrier standing between them. He didn’t know what it was, but he knew it existed. He didn't know weather it was the Heavenly Spirit Pagoda Palace Sect, Assassin Temple, or her family but he knew that Erenay has many secrets she keeps close to her sleeves and her heart won't open up for some reason. It drove him crazy but at the same time he was just happy being around her all the time. Holding her hand taking her walks even though she was blind they were times when he felt like she truly didn't need to see because he would always be there for her.
"Confess to what?" Erenay muttered as she held her pillow closer to her face hiding her blushing face.
"What do you mean ‘confess what? We both know what I’m talking about. Out with it."
Erenay played with her purple dress and she let out a deep breath and she shook her head. The tip of her ears were extremely red.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“Really?” Ouranos asked, looking straight into her eyes.
"Dancing Dragon Goddess resonance fusion!" Ouranos said.
Erenay eyes widen for a moment and her face became so cold. As she clenched on the pillow that was hiding her blushing face she threw it at Ouranos and then kicked him on his leg shin and grabbed his ear as she was so pissed off. She truly thought of something else!
"If you have something to say it! Don't go hum this hum!" Erenay snapped and kicked him again.
"That really hurts! I think you broke a bone. Mo Mo, you have to take responsibility!” Ouranos said, a mischievous smile tugging on his lips.
"Responsibility my ass! Serves you right humph if you have something to ask go ahead and tell me don't go making me second guess myself," Erenay said as she grabbed the pillow from the floor and she sat back down.
Ouranos let out a pout.
"I thought we are friends can't you take responsibility over me for the rest of your life?" Ouranos asked in an innocent manner.
"You eat too much, I would be broke before I am even four hundred years old."
"I eat less."
Erenay rolled her beautiful eyes and she let out a simple sigh.
"Speak! Or get out," Erenay snapped.
"Alright love I will stop playing with you for a moment but truly we must talk about this," Ouranos said.
"What do you want to know?"
"What is Dancing Dragon Goddess Transformation?"
"I made it up," Erenay said with a shrug.
"Made it up?"
"Yup! Doesn't it sound cool?" Erenay asked she walked inside her kitchen and grabbed a glass of water. She handed one to Ouranos who took it without a second thought.
"You win," Ouranos said after finishing the glass of water and turned around to walk away.
“You really came up with those names on your own?” Ouranos asked as he held on the kitchen door and he frowned at Erenay.
“Yeah.”
“Lying is bad you know!”
"Childish."
“I don’t believe you. In fact, I can tell you’re lying. I see it in your eyes. Good kids don’t lie!” Ouranos said righteously and waved his finger straight at Erenay who snorted out a laugh.
"What are you going to do to beat me up? You can't I am not your normal assassin," Erenay said.
In one quick, fluid motion, Ouranos appeared right before her, his hands clutching at her shoulders. She yelped. Next thing she knew, he had her pressed against the wall, his arms on either side of her, a makeshift cage..
Their faces were so close to each other. Ouranos eyes were staring deep within Erenay mysterious blind eyes the hint of wonderful colors within them he held her hip closer to him as they were staring at each other. Their lips were close to one another. A couple of inches separated their noses. She could feel his warm breath against her cheeks, could smell his unique and masculine scent with each breath. She somehow managed to blush even redder.
“W-what are you doing?” Erenay shuttered she felt so shy all the sudden she tried to hide her beautiful blushing face away from Ouranos
“Interrogating you!” Ouranos declared.
"You wouldn't dare!" Erenay voice was mick something foreign flickered in her eyes. Something bold. It was right there. Ouranos face, fierce and determined, mere inches from hers. She closed her eyes, lashes splaying like a fan. And she pursed her lips. Faint elemental fluctuations rippled around her, ready to rampage at any moment.
A rustle of cloth. Erenay opened her eyes. To her surprise, Ouranos had dropped his arms and let out a sigh.
"Fine, fine, I won't do it, you win," Ouranos muttered. He walked out of the kitchen and Erenay followed him.
"Santoro get back here!" Erenay snapped. She only ever called him by his last name when she was truly angry or pissed off.
"What why should I humph I thought we were friends and here you won't even tell me the reason!"
"Santoro! You..."
"No if you won't trust how our relationship can grow? Don't you know relationships are based on trust," Ouranos as he turned around and he stared at Erenay who was leaning against the wall she crossed her arms.
"Fine then leave if you want. I won't tell shoo to go away," Erenay said she picked up Tun Tun who let out a bark.
Ouranos appeared in front of her using his newly learned Ghost Shadow Step.
“Tell me.” He pulled a chair over and sat down, looking at her inquisitively.
She lowered her head in silence.
“Out with it already. You only have to tell me and no one else. I’ll keep it a secret.”
"Fine, fine I will tell you okay actually my resonance spirit is a dragon type," Erenay said as she sat down. Ouranos reached over and held her hand.
"A dragon? But isn't Universal Elements!?" Ouranos asked if he was shocked.
“Yes, but it’s also a dragon. Control over the elements is just how my resonance spirit manifests.”
