Ezequiel slowly moved around and the sky started to move around the cloud turned darker he felt like the clouds were moving toward Ezequiel then pulled his hand out and one of the clouds moved straight toward him.

Ouranos waved his hands as he tried to control the cloud and he felt like his breath was running out he dropped on the ground and he felt like this was painful.

"How you feeling, is your body okay, if you don't feel alright I won't allow it for you to fight it's just a competition not a death match," Erenay said as she held on Ouranos hand who rolled his eyes and gently touched her head and patted it.

"I am fine I swear alright I have been healed ever since yesterday."

Erenay let out a sigh and she rolled her eyes.

According to the rules of the competition, thirty-six teams would battle it out in a round-robin tournament after the two initial knockout rounds. This segment divided the remaining teams into four groups, each consisting of nine teams. Every team would participate in eight matches and fight the other teams in their group one by one. Winning a match earned them two points while a loss gained a grand total of zero. If they somehow fought to a draw, then both teams would receive one point.

After each team had fought against every team in their group, the top four of each group would advance. A total of sixteen teams was given this honor. From there, a final knockout tournament would be held until the champion team emerged. Only the top sixteen received awards.

These rules applied to both the youth and adult division.

"Yeah we are in the third group though," Zander said as he grabbed a chicken wing that Erenay bough for Ouranos.

"Zander gets your disgusting hand off Ouranos food," Erenay snapped.

“Have you guys investigated our opponents’ strengths yet?”

“I couldn’t find anything at all! There are too many people to investigate and even when we were watching the others battle, we were acting like pure spectators. We’ll have to adapt to the situation. Fortunately, I heard that those two from Zoken aren’t in our group.”

"Really to bad I wanted to just..." Erenay lips formed a frown she won't forget what that girl did to Ouranos she was able to control her anger but still she was still in pain when she couldn't do anything.

"Erenay why are you so angry it was just a competition," Ouranos said.

Erenay flashed but they were covered the next moment.

"Whatever but do you have any plan?"

"Yes it will be the three of us fighting while Genevieve would sub in."

"Okay then."

This seating belonged to the VIPs in attendance. A towering glass screen faced the stadium, allowing those within a clear view of the battles. The glass screen also doubled as a soul screen that let the occupants select any match to watch. It didn’t matter if those battles were in progress or had ended.

Inside the room there were two people one of them had long hair that flowed down his back. While the other had long soft golden brown hair that was in a ponytail. Her eyes were gentle and green. Both of them were standing by a wide opened window that stared down at the large stadium. The woman looked like she was twenty-six years old but she was actually two hundred and twenty six years old. The human life span has grown so much in over 900,000 years.

The oldest a person has ever lived was 10,000 years old but that's the longest human life span can last.

"Don't be angry Ezequiel I just allowed her to stir things up because they’re your disciples, you know? Aren’t you the least bit worried?”

Ezequiel was cold as always all he did was stare straight ahead.

"Why would I be worried about my disciples?" Ezequiel asked indifferently.

“It seems you’re quite confident in your disciples? Do you think your teaching skills already surpass the academy’s?”

"I have long forgotten about why I care about that, whether they aim for victory, or lose it's up to them."

"Do you really blame her, she never meant to hurt you if you allow-"

"Sister Norah I care about you but please don't talk about her she broke my trust why should I bother with..."

Norah let out a sigh but senior brother do you know how much she misses you it has been two hundred years since you left the academy out of spit but still why would you do that? What happened between the two is a mystery to all of us.

“How’s the kid from yesterday doing? He has a variant resonance spirit right?”

Ezequiel shot her a glare and he sighed.
