Chapter 321 [Fido Was Born!]
Ouranos raised his hand and the golden ball landed into his palm. It hummed softly in his hand, nuzzling his palm affectionately.
Ouranos face twitched. If every piece of spirit refined metal is like this from now on, could I bear giving them away? It feels like it's my own child! He couldn't help it but rub it's head.
"Dear disciple how we talk about that bet huh this-"
"No way teacher Fido was born today and he shell stay with me!" Ouranos said.
"Alright giving it name?"
"up Fido is such a cute little guy aren't you, teacher we took up to much time let's go," Ouranos said as he grabbed his teacher and Elder Derek couldn't help it but let out a light laugh and a grin on his face that's my disciple for you. Fido flattered around Ouranos like a baby not living it's mother side. Chance and Zander both rushed over and smacked his shoulder.
"We believed in you."
"Bah don't go lying he was pissing his pants!" Lola said and pointed at him.
"Say it again!"
"I said it and you can't do nothing about it! But look our new members of the symbol of our group as joined. Tun Tun let out a growling sound while Xiao played with the new member. Erenay put Tun Tun on Lola lap and she stood up as she grabbed her bamboo and tapped the ground she slowly walked down the stairs everyoen notice her and the first thing the notice was she was blind.
“The second match will be fought through mecha-designing,” Micky announced.
“Would the representatives please come up.”
The students of the second grade could hardly believe that they lost the first match, but they weren’t too concerned.
The second grade student her hair was pink purple her eyes were deep blue she stared at Julius who nodded her head.
Zander notice this and he gawked if he didn't know any better he would have thought those two were a couple.
His actually friends with other people. All she does is train, train, and train more!
The girl stared at Erenay who sat her bamboo next to the forging table that were flap they both stared at each other.
"Hello my name is Cora second grade."
Erenay was indifferent.
"Erenay grade one," she said in a cold manner.
Suddenly signs were out people who knew the temple shivered what the assassin temple was like they don't follow any rules and no one can control them and they are cheering for the blind girl.
"GO LITTLE LUNA! GO LITTLE LUNA!"
"GO CAPTAIN!"
"GO CAPTAIN! GO CAPTAIN! GO CAPTAIN!"
Erenay eyes stared the assassin group and they kept their mouth they new her temper.
“This designing match will test your reasoning and the quality of your design. You have thirty minutes to design a right gauntlet for a set of battle armor. You can use your old designs. Ouranos will personally select the winner.”
A gauntlet? Upon hearing that, the students of the first grade cheered. Ouranos team had crafted his right gauntlet. Considering the relationship between Erenay and Ouranos, they were certain that she designed it! Since she was capable of creating a design for a piece of one-word battle armor, they believed they had this match in the bag.
"Alright start."
The other person started drawing. Erenay was calm she held out her hand and a powerful spiritual pen appeared this is what she carved as she started to drew she did not drew quickly her movements were calm as she put her spiritual power her fingers ran through the papers she pulled her hair back as she let out a breath.
Elder Troy clapped his hands he knew the grade his disciple was in now grade 9 genesis rune master. Her pencil moved steadily across the paper, never stopping for even a moment. The form of a gauntlet quickly took shape on her paper. On the other side of the stage, Cora drew much faster, constantly erasing and revising her design. In spite of that, she made quick progress.
Soon enough, the thirty allotted minutes ran out. The second they did, Cora and Erenay put their pencils down at practically the same time. There drawing was taken to Elder Molly who nodded her head and brought it to Evangeline who stared at the drawing each of them and she stood up.
"This is a draw."
Erenay nodded her head.
"I will explain. Erenay you are blind yet you did such an amazing job if this was a genesis rune she would lose you not only did you genesis rune in the battle armor but also add alloy within it making one of the kind no one has thought of that. Cora your your design is much more complicated, and it implemented many advanced theories perfectly. However, the overall design is flawed. If you manage to complete it, you’ll have become a fifth-rank designer. Is your design meant for someone with a twin resonance spirit?”
"Yes."
"I believe you and Erenay should work together, she understands the alloy but also you can help out being her eyes."
Cora stared at Erenay who simply crossed her arms she nodded her head this wasn't much to her.
It was in this way that the second match concluded. The first grade now led the competition with one win and one draw.
Erenay was over two years younger than her opponent, but she was able to bring the match to a draw. This was victory enough for them.
Both competitors left the stage. The students in the first grade welcomed Erenay back with loud cheers. They had done well in the first two matches so far, and this boosted their confidence.
However, the first grade suffered a crushing defeat in the third match.
No one recognized the mecha maker the second grade sent out. He was a fourth-rank maker, but the first grade only had the third-rank Travis. The difference between the two clear, and defeat came swiftly.
The fourth match, on the other hand, was surprisingly even. Lennon was quite the gifted mechanic, but her opponent was the class president of the second grade, Julius. Julius won by a thin margin in the end, but she knew that she was older than Lennon by a year, so she couldn’t feel satisfied by the win.
With the conclusion of the fourth match, the second grade had two wins, one draw, and one loss. It seemed as though their victory were certain, but they didn’t seem happy at all. Considering the age difference, it became clear that the second grade was actually weaker than the first grade.
So they didn't feel like they had won.
