15 minutes later, Jiang Yan arrived at the Lu residence. When he entered the main entrance, Lu Hua Nian was coming down the stairs and got a fright upon seeing him. She sized this nephew of hers up and down a few times before speaking: "Jiang Yan, what's going on with you? Is your mother preparing to send you to the army?" 

Jiang Yan's maternal grandfather was a commanding officer in the army. Their family had a tradition of sending their male descendants to the army for training. That's why Lu Hua Nian said so. 

"Nothing like that, I just… just wasn't satisfied with the previous appearance so I'm changing my image. What do you think, aunt? Isn't it more manly?1 Jiang Yan touched his own head in embarrassment while feigning to be especially satisfied with his current appearance.

Girlfriend?

Jiang Yan relaxed a bit when he heard that Jiang Shu Hua had something to do with this matter. This grandmother treated him quite well and wouldn't deliberately tease him.

"Sit down first and talk." Hearing him mentioned this, Jiang Shu Hua immediately became excited and pointed to a chair. "Jiang Yan ah, we want to ask you to assist us in performing a play." 

Jiang Yan stared blankly for a moment before speaking: "What play?"

QwQ Jiang Yan you're not the only one feeling miserable, me too… I am now afraid of opening the windows for fear that beetles will come in flying, I need to keep my sanity… who asked them to come out with the nice weather and to be able to fly T^T
