"Okay, then forget about it." Yun Rong was a little disappointed, but she didn't take it to heart. Anyway, there's virtue in doing good deeds, she shouldn't be too greedy. She took out her cellphone to see the time. It was already 8:30 while the office started at 9 o'clock. She explained to Zhu Siming and quickly left the police station.  

The girl she rescued on the bus saw her leaving and promptly chased after: "Little sister, hello. Thank you for saving me just now. My name is He Qing, your name is Yun Rong, right? Can we add each other's in WeChat? I'll treat you to a meal after work."

"No need, it was just a slight effort. I don't have WeChat." Yun Rong waved her hands. She didn't register on WeChat. Although she recognized characters and could write, she still didn't feel used to using them.

Yun Rong finally decided to take a taxi since she didn't know the way from the public security to the office. But no idea what was going on with the driver, he went around in circles and unexpectedly only arrived half an hour later. 

Yun Rong helplessly looked at the 34 yuan displayed on her phone screen and then put it back in her bag. Then she ran towards the office in a hurry. When she reached the office's entrance, she saw Lu He Nian coming out from the elevator.

"Where have you been? Why have you only arrived now?" Lu He Nian caught sight of the young lady and asked while frowning.

He just asked Wang Jing to contact the hotel reception desk and they said that Yun Rong had left at 7 o'clock. Let's say she walked to the office, it would only take her half an hour with time to spare. But she had left for more than an hour and her shadow couldn't be seen. He immediately felt worried and was just about to go out to find her when he spotted her running in urgently.

She had just spent 34 yuan from the taxi, if her pay was deducted on top, then she would feel extremely distressed.

"Did you run into something on the way? I heard you've left the hotel at 7 o'clock." Seeing the young lady's nervous look, Lu He Nian realized that he was too severe and softened his voice.

"I met a gangster on the bus. He unexpectedly groped a girl's bottoms but still took out a knife to threaten me. So I gave him a bit of a lesson, then brought him to the police station." Yun Rong told him thoroughly of the matter, then with a proud look on her face, she looked at Lu He Nian and spoke: "Second brother, I stood up bravely for justice, you wouldn't deduct my pay, right?"

As Lu He Nian was thinking, he bowed his head and met with Yun Rong's little face that was expecting praise. Suddenly all his worries and fear turned to anger. He ground his teeth and indifferently spoke: "There's no need to deduct your pay due to standing up bravely for justice? Without caring for your own safety you stood up for justice, I see your pay needs to be deducted twice!"

Done speaking, he didn't notice the young lady's face immediately collapsed and turned around to enter the elevator.

Lu He Nian had not yet pressed the elevator door to close. When he raised his head, he saw the young lady's blank expression and the anger he felt just now seemed to be extinguished all at once. He wished he could turn back quickly to comfort her. 

However, in the end, Lu He Nian didn't do so. This young lady relied on her own power and had not the slightest feeling to be on guard and be more alert. This kind of temperament must be given a bit of a lesson, otherwise, something major might happen. 

Yun Rong soon noticed the elevator doors were about to automatically close and promptly squeezed herself inside. Then she spoke in earnest: "I didn't do it without any regards of my own safety ah, that small gangster was absolutely not a match for me."

Lu He Nian didn't say a word and coldly glanced at the young lady.  He was afraid once he spoke he wouldn't bear to teach this young lady a lesson.

Seeing that Lu He Nian didn't reply to her, Yun Rong felt unsure. Ever since she knew him, he had always been gentle and courteous. Where had he ever shown this kind of cold appearance? A feeling of familiarity flashed in her mind but she couldn't remember why.

It was reasonable to say that no matter how angry Lu He Nian was, he was a human and Yun Rong should not care. But at this moment, her heart felt a little uneasy.  

When they'd reached the top floor, the elevator opened with a 'ding'. Lu He Nian took the lead and went out first. 

"Director, Zhang Chong Ming just called and said that something urgent came up at home so he requested a leave of absence for today." Wang Jing happened to come out from the office at this time and caught sight of Lu He Nian so he spoke without hesitation.

I disinfected the whole flat, now it's smells so clean^^
