Who Moved My Mountain Chapter 2 part2

       As long as the human had not showed up, Yun Rong had no fear. Looking at Qin Wen Tao's infuriating expression, she humphed coldly and rose in the air. With a raise of her hand, the workers' shack immediately fell apart as if it was a toy building block. A single sweep of gale directly blew the pieces up and beyond.

 　　Destroying the workers' shed wasn't enough. Yun Rong's eyesight fell onto the nearby dozen or so excavators and large trucks. Her fingertips moved in the air and the dozens of heavy machinery rumbled and rolled down the mountain. Within a second, they were all out of sight.

　　A moment later, a loud and heavy crash sound was heard. Obviously the machines were all smashed at the bottom of the mountain.

　　Done with this, Yun Rong's face that was full of anger just a moment ago showed a trace of a smile. When the smile came out, the black clouds enveloping Dan Qiu Mountain immediately disappeared. A light breeze blew through the leaves, producing a rustling noise which resembled a happy tune.

　　This smile somewhat appeared a bit more beautiful than the setting sun that was not far away.

　　Yun Rong stood on top of Dan Qiu Mountain and took a deep breath,  spreading both arms out. Suddenly, innumerable bright green spots floated out from the entire mountain and combined together to form a thin green light which flowed into her body.

　　Waiting for the bright light to disappear, the vegetation on Dan Qiu Mountain seemed to have just been irrigated, becoming more lush and green. Each and every leaf was suffused with a healthy luster, as if green juice was going to drip out.

　　The fallen trees rooted out by the excavators were erected once again. Their roots firmly grasping the soil and their branches and leaves smoothly extended out.

　　Seeing each grass and each tree in Dan Qiu Mountain brimming with vitality, Yun Rong's anger were finally appeased. Her gaze paused on a place not far away, where the twenty or so people kneeling were huddling together.

　　She was really unwilling to let these people get away so easily. However, the human race was weak, if she really raised her hand to fight back, she was afraid these people would lose their lives. After pondering for a moment, Yun Rong let out a gentle smile and her hand drew a square in the air.

　　”At approximately 16:30 today, the villagers living in the vicinity of Dan Qiu Mountain reported a loud noise coming from the side of the mountain. We also learned from the meteorological department that the weather satellite showed a huge layer of cloud emerging and covering the entire Dan Qiu Mountain for a short period of time. There may be an unexpected local torrential rain falling in the area. This radio station speculated that the loud noise was probably due to a landslide caused by the damp air loosening the soil after the torrential rain. Currently, the radio's reporter has left together with the forest rangers to find out the situation at the scene."

  　　"Let's connect with the reporter at the site."

　　At 6 in the evening, time for Haishi local news report . The anchor was reporting the news while the camera captured the surrounding area, finally settling at an area at the edge of Dan Qiu Mountain's base. At the side of the road, more than a dozen heavy machineries were in disarray, lying upside down in the mud, the surface was full of bumps and holes. In comparison, the cars in a junkyard would be in much better condition than them.

　　At an area not too far away from the excavators, bricks from the workers' shed, along with the metal roof, were lying scattered. The sheet of metal roof was severely deformed, as if it had been pinched by a pair of hands.

　　"Good evening, I am the on-site reporter for Haishi television station. Everyone is able to see the excavators and trucks scattered around me which weight at least ten tonnes. It seems that a landslide really occurred in Dan Qiu Mountain. We learned that there is a plan to open up Dan Qiu Mountain and a construction team was carrying out a large-scale operation. However, up to the present, we haven't caught sight of any construction crews. The rescue team has already prepared to go up the mountain to search for ……"

　　The female reporter had not yet finished reporting the news when a shout came from the rescue team that had gone up the mountain: "We found the missing workers, we found the missing workers….."

　　The medical team and the reporter who had not followed them up the mountain were shocked and promptly went towards the place where the sound came from. Barely two steps out, the rescue team issued another loud shout, "Bring clothes and quilts when you come up!"

　　Everyone who was energetically climbing the mountain paused their steps. They thought the rescue workers would ask them for food, drinks or oxygen but never thought they would hear the rescue workers asked for clothes and quilts. In this hot summer, there should be no problem if the clothes were dirty or wet. In the end, what is more important? Clothes or human life?

　　Qin Went Tao and the construction team were actually located not so far away from the base of the mountain. The medical team had not yet returned when they already saw the rescue team uniforms.

　　"What happened? Why didn't you give emergency treatment yet ah?" The doctor carrying the stretcher panted and looked at the row of rescue team members standing. "Could it be that the injuries are very serious?" He had heard there were twenty or so people in the construction team, and all had been involved in an accident. Each doctor's heart gave out a thump, they quickly rushed to where the rescue team was standing.

　　"It's not fatal." One of the team member looked strange, shifting his eyes left and right. Looking at him closely, there was a bit of embarrassment.

　　"If the vitals are normal then that's good. People are alive, what else is important ah!" The doctors loosened and let out their breaths. Their footsteps slowed down and they walked forward. The rescue team member wanted to say something but hesitated,  and reluctantly gave way to the doctors.

　　The medical team that was just relaxed a moment ago suddenly stared blankly. Because behind the rescue team member, the twenty or so people were trapped in a cage made of bamboo, resembling chickens. The people were closely crammed in together. Some were laying on their stomachs, some were kneeling, wearing a ridiculous expression. As if they were influenced by evil.

　　The key point was, not a single clothing was attached on these big men. The birds on the bird nests could be clearly seen. (T/N note: …… you get the gist ^^!)

　　Medical team: "……."

      Finally the construction team woke up, opening their eyes: "……."

Q: In the end, what is more important? Clothes or human life?

A: Dignity.
