Denise was tensed and Shawn could notice her panic by the way she looked at him and held his arm . Shawn slid his one arm around her and brought her close to himself and held her chin with his other hand, looked into her eyes and said, "What happened? Are you fine?"
Denise nodded and then tears started flowing from her eyes . She wrapped her arms around Shawn and let her emotions calm down first .
"Shawn, I don't even remember when, but you have become the center of my life . I always want to be in your radius, connected to your heart . Today I am afraid, really afraid . But I promise, I will do my best to keep that old man in an illusion that I am being clingy and am just following you, whereas you are running away from me . But you also promise me two things, first you will always love me like this and secondly… you will take care of yourself and be safe for me… while I am not around… because you belong to me now . "
Shawn heard her words and was filled with an indescribable happiness . In past few days, his life had changed completely and today he wanted to live and be safe for the sake of his parents, brothers and for his lovely wife . He nodded to her and kissed her on her lips, wiping her tears with his thumb . Then he consoled her and said, "Be prepared to hear some bad sentences from me in front of the old man . Don't hate me after that love . "
And they both smiled together and prepared themselves for the upcoming confrontation with the Old Man Skull .

In the Lee Mansion:
"Hello Uncle, how are you? There, I will return Shawn to you now . Why is he so cold to me uncle? Had he been this cold to all the people around or am I a special case for him? Uncle please can you help me out to convince him to prepare for our wedding soon and I already have a date in mind . I tried to talk to him about it but he said he will still think about it . " Denise said with pouted lips as she tried to convince Old Man Skull with her acting .
"Why are you in such a rush? Had you not been clinging to me since morning?" Shawn hissed then added, "I will go and check my friend, please have someone drive you home carefully . I will go and see my friend now!"
"No need, I have already called my dad and our driver will arrive soon . " Denise said irritably .
Shawn left the two alone .
"So how are you child? Tell me when is the date that you have planned and I will talk to your dad about it . Besides, I will not let Shawn go back in that show once more and the wedding between our families will be a good alibi to use for not coming back at that show . " Old Man Skull said with his evil grin .
Denise tried hard not to vomit on the Old Man Skull's hideous face and smiled in amazement instead .
With sparkling eyes she said, "Yes you are right… I also don't like it that he's inside the house . Being the target of so many girls out there… what if he starts to like someone else and decides to leave me alone . He doesn't like me too much . It's better he's out of the show, so I can be with him all the time . Please Uncle convince Shawn to marry me this month itself… I really like him so much and want only him to be my husband . I like his style of being aloof with me . Just he wait till I get married to him, I will see how much aloofness he could still have in him then . He's just so handsome and tall and so good in the business… just my type and an ideal man…"
"Alright child I will talk to your father about it tomorrow . I will make sure Shawn will marry you by all means . " Old Man Skull said with a smile .
Denise jumped out of joy like a kid and hugged the Old Man and said, "Oh thanks you so much uncle… Ah! I should practice calling you Dad now right?"
Old Man Skull smirked as he thought that he would still have a good use for Shawn . For now, he would let go of Shawn's beating since that would be visible to Denise .
But he would want to still torture and punish Shawn for disappointing him these past few days .
That bastard must be reminded of his place now! Shawn's life was indebted to him and he is his property so he should have a clear thought for that .
'Let me finalize this wedding first then I will decide how to punish you rascal!' Old Man Skull mused .
