The CEO Who Hates Me 172 Big Trouble

Denise was shocked to hear these words from Shawn and she stared back at him with a confused gaze.

Goose bumps ran all over her body as she shook her head abruptly while a few weird thoughts played in her mind. Shawn's offer was unclear to her.

'What does he mean? Accompany him for the whole night? Huh!! Is he really out of mind… Does he really mean his words? What he wants from me but? Just talk to me? Does he like me as well? Is he willing to do… something?'

Questions filled her mind and her face was flushed with the thoughts not so decent… 'This better be clear before I accompany him for helping him out of his tensions… but… what if he takes advantage of me and tries to… do something more intimate?'

She wanted to ask Shawn what he wanted but she was hesitating.

But then when she looked at his handsome face and thought about her liking towards him she assessed herself that if worst comes to worst, will she be willing to go that much further with him in this relationship? Did she like him enough to give him her first?

While she was contemplating the situation and thinking what's in her mind… her face was turning more red by her each thought…

The thoughts of being close and intimate with him… they did not feel obnoxious or dirty… instead a tingling feeling ran through her body. But is it really time yet?

"What are you thinking? Don't worry I will not do anything stupid to you. So fix that face." Shawn jeered when he noticed Denise's disconcerted look.

Denise pursed her lips in embarrassment.

"Why? You said stay with you the whole night? What are we going to do the whole night together? What do you expect me to do? Should I watch you get drunk and pass out?" she snapped out.

Shawn looked intently at her, and then closed in his face towards her looking deep into her eyes… he smiled wickedly and said, "What are you afraid of? Don't you like to be more close to me and didn't you want to harass me the whole night after I pass out? Even going further than the last time?"

Denise was dumbfounded with these words of Shawn.

Shawn smiled more widely amused by her reactions and was about to say something more when Denise suddenly put her palm on his mouth and stopped him before she hears any more embarrassing words.

"Stop! I don't want to hear it. Just continue drinking and keep talking about whatever you want to talk… let it all out. All your frustrations… I will just sit quietly and listen to all your things well." She said with pursed lips.

Shawn laughed hard at Denise's stupefied face.

"You are really funny, do you know that?" he said looking at her cute face glowing in the dim lights of the bar.

He felt little refreshed and cared, suddenly his face became serious.

"Do you know how it feels to be kept in the dark all your life?" he murmured as he put his arms and elbows on the table and played with the glass before he drank it all in a single gulp.

Then he bent his head down and added, "Denise. Right now you like me, you like my handsome face and strong body. You like the fact that I am the CEO of a successful organization. You like all the good things about me. But if you knew the hideous things that I did… if you knew how dark my past had been… what kind of person I actually had been… then… then you will not like me again. You will also abandon me. You will also leave me. Like her… you wi-lll… alsoooo" Shawn slumped on the table and closed his eyes.

"Geez this man, always dozes off after just a few drinks." She said loudly when she noticed Shawn had closed his eyes already.

The bartender near her muttered, "Madam, he had a lot already. A few drinks for you is like a lot already to us normal people."

Denise's eyebrow arched and said, "So you're saying I'm not normal? Jun, how long have you been working with me now?"

"Almost one year madam…" Jun replied grinning. He loved his work and liked his Boss a lot. She was someone who you can approach easily. She was a devoted Owner who also had genuine concern about her employees.

"Do you want to retire early? Or probably get fired instantly?" she said in a serious voice.

Jun scratched his head as he blinked his eyes. "I was just kidding Madam. You know you are the best Boss I can have."

"Go and call his driver outside before I kick you out," she instructed the bartender as soon as she confirmed Shawn has passed out.

She helped Jun with assisting Shawn inside the car. She settled him properly in the back seat and made him comfortable with the pillows and jut then when she was about to leave, Shawn pulled her inside suddenly by grabbing her wrist and held her with her waist close to his body.

She tried to wriggle free from his embrace but he held her tighter and held her still.

"Uhm, wait… Let go…" she whispered and searched Shawn's face. His eyes were opened but he looked sluggish.

"I said, you have to stay with me the whole night," he muttered as he hugged her tight and leaned his head on her shoulder.

Denise thought her heart will burst at any moment soon with Shawn's aggressiveness. His arms were wrapped on her body tightly.

Her mind and heart were in a state of war with each other. Her mind kept saying go out of here and release your body from Shawn's grasp but her heart was acting weird and shouting with joy and telling her to stay like that. She felt like she was already on cloud nine.

"Madam…" Jun called her. His eyes had worries written in them and asking if she needed help.

"Ahmm… Just get my purse Jun. I'll call my dad and let him know about me. Don't worry I will be fine…" she said timidly.

Jun understood and followed. They knew that Shawn Lee was their Boss's fiancé so she should be safe.

Thump! Thump! Thump!

Denise could hear the loud beating of her own heart when she felt Shawn's warm breath on her neck.

'Darn this man! What has he done to me? Why do I become such stupid in his presence? Why can't I keep away from him? Why am I so drawn towards him?' she complained silently as her cheeks reddened.

She tried to distract herself and looked outside the window and then she noticed that they were heading the wrong way and not to the mansion.

"Wait, this isn't the way to Lee's mansion." She said to the driver.

"Madam, Sir Shawn does not sleep at the mansion. He just goes there, whenever Senior Lee asks for his presence. He has his own home at the hilltop."

"Oh I see," Denise murmured.

Inside the car, she felt more nervous at the thought that she will be going to Shawn's private home. This will be the first time that she would be going to a man's house.

She will be alone with him in his home… just the thought sent shivers down her spine and to her bones but she didn't have that creepy feeling, instead its more of anticipation…

Denise let out a long deep sighed…

'This is not good. I think I will be in big trouble…'
