Diana narrowed her eyes and continued, "You woke up sooner than him and that bastard is still unconscious struggling to survive… Ha… such a weakling . I had to clean up a bigger mess because of him . But again that asshole messed-up everything I had planned for you so he also deserved to be punished . It will be easier if he stay unconscious forever and that will save me the trouble later . "
"Who are you talking about?" Cecile muttered .
"Oh you did not see whom you slept with? You don't remember a thing? Well that bastard would not like to even touch you, he might even hate the fact that he had sex with a slut like you . But he had no choice since he got that drug too in a much higher dosage than yourself . I have to calm the burning heat inside of that bastard so I had him locked up with you in one room instead . Then boom! He banged you till he fell unconscious . hahahahaa… . "
"Ah… aren't you willing to die to follow Aldrin? Don't worry I'll make sure you'll follow him" she said with a smirk .
Cecile creased her forehead looked at her with a calm expression and smiled .
She closed her eyes remembering Aldrin and said in a plain voice, "I will be thankful for this help of yours, I would never have gathered the courage to commit suicide but to die right now and be able to be with my love… I will be more than happy… I am waiting Diana . Don't take very long, please kill me, kill me . I really don't wish to live without Aldrin…"
With eyes closed, Cecile waited for Diana to shoot her . There's no point in living anyway . She's been damaged enough already . Aldrin died saving her so she rather be with Aldrin at this point .
Her heart ached so much . She couldn't bear the loss . How she hoped that everything was just a dream… A nightmare… That anytime soon she could wake up and everything goes back to normal… with Aldrin with her side, smiling . She couldn't breathe and she wanted to die at that moment anytime soon .
However, seconds passed and there's still no gunshot . Instead she heard a few noises inside her room and heard Diana's hysterical voice, "Don't touch me! Let me go! You assholes! How dare you touch me! Let me go this instant!"
She opened her eyes and saw a few armed men pulling Diana out of her room . She saw a figure of a man on his 40s outside . She couldn't see his face clearly but that man was flaring at Diana like a Demon who was ready to kill that moment .
Aldrin's dad, Mr . Go rushed inside her room and said, "Child are you alright? Cecile, are you hurt?"
Cecile shook her head then burst in tears . She couldn't even bear to look straight to his eyes . She was the reason his son died, Aldrin was his eldest son, his heir .
She heard Mr . Go sighed and said, "Don't worry a good friend of mine will take care of all those responsible for Aldrin's death . You have to be strong . Don't talk about your death, you were precious for my son, he cared a lot about you . Had all this not happened you would be my daughter-in-law . Aldrin sacrificed his life to save you so you must live and be courageous; please don't waste that sacrifice of my son…"
After hearing what Mr . Go said, Cecile felt a sharp knife stabbing her heart . Those words were very heavy but true . With still bowed head she nodded and couldn't help herself but to cry hard .
Mr . Go tried to comfort her but he was himself so broken that he also ended up crying even in front of her . He tried to calm her but failed to control his own emotions he just patted her head and left the room .
When Mr . Go left the room, her sobbing became louder . Aldrin's dad was right . She was wrong to wish herself dead . Aldrin wouldn't like her to be this pessimistic wherever he was . He will be sad if he will see her in that kind of weak and broken state .
'Mr . Go is right, I must live on… live for the sake of my Love . For your sacrifice Aldrin I will live on . '
"I'm sorry Aldrin… I'm sorry… I promise I will be stronger . I will live well and strong until we meet each other again…" she muttered as tears keep on flowing out from her eyes .
