Dean actually wanted to ask Rita out on a date but he knew the latter would refuse. So the cheater of a husband planned a twisted date with his wife.

Instead of asking Rita out himself, he texted a friend and requested her to call in his office for an urgent dinner meeting same evening.

After a minute the line on Rita's table rang… And Dean smiled mischievously.

He hid his wicked grin when Rita looked at him and said, "The President of Safe Journey Travel Agency called and requesting for an urgent dinner meeting tonight…"

"Tell her I'm free and will meet her," Dean answered quickly.

Rita called the agency to relay Dean's confirmation and got the details of the place for the said meeting.

Dean sighed as he stared at Rita who seemed busy on typing at her computer. He wondered how long would it take for him to woo Rita so he could spend more intimate moments with her.

He brushed his face with his palm. He should work harder and do a better job in capturing Rita's aloof heart.

After hours of serious work, the two got ready for the dinner meeting.

"Ms. Sheng's secretary called informing that she just left and will be on her way at the meeting place. I told her we'll be leaving already." Rita said as she got up ready to leave with Dean.

Rita had changed into a beautiful and elegant evening wear with very mild makeup. She completed her look with a beautiful thin choker on her neck studded with diamonds and ruby.

She left her hair loose on her shoulders giving her a carefree vibe. Her whole persona had changed from an employee to a delicate lady in no time.

Dean was simply shocked to see this form of Rita in just a little more than half an hour from the office time. Because Dean was already wearing a suit for his work he didn't change and just freshened up brushed his hair and took Rita's hand to leave.

Rita was actually confused because though the meeting was a private one like what the usual set-up is supposed to be, but the restaurant Ms. Sheng chose seemed a little bit romantic.

She had heard of that restaurant before. It was famous for romantic dates. That really felt weird, like who goes for a business meeting in a romantic setup?

Well maybe some people do in order to have some change in their boring office lives, they end up trying romantic ambiance for a business meeting like the president of that travel agency.

'Huh! Weird lady… who even does that seriously...'

But she still felt weird…

'Do they both personally know each other?' she thought silently.

She had never met that president yet and neither had she seen her before, so she got curious. She even tried to search about her online but she couldn't find any picture of her there as well.

Her curiosity was almost killing her for why this woman invited Dean for a meeting in a romantic restaurant.

She even noticed Dean was a little happier than usual while going down in the elevator. Though he held her hand but he was even humming a nice romantic tune and his looks were more flirtatious than usual…

'What is there to be so happy about a simple business meeting, he is behaving as he is going out for a date.'

Inside the car, she couldn't help but comment, "Uhm is the president of that agency you ex-girlfriend or something?"

Dean coughed and suddenly burst out in laughter. He was delighted to see the traces of jealousy in her voice and that slight anger in her eyes.

"Ms. Sheng? My ex-girlfriend? No, why would you ask that?"

"That because I have never seen people having a business meeting in such a romantic restaurant."

Those traces of jealousy were now increasing in size…

"No my sweetheart. And truth is that my dear wifey, you are the only girlfriend I had my whole life… Don't you know that?" he said teasingly.

Rita was staring at him in anticipation of clear answers and yet here he was flirting with her again.

When she heard his teasing reply in such flirtatious and seductive tone she did not answer him and instead turned her head to look out of the window instead and hide her blushing face.

Dean chose to not tease Rita once more. So they arrived at the destination without anyone talking at all after that discussion.

It was a Japanese restaurant that provided an elegant and romantic ambience perfect for couples to enjoy a quiet time with great food together.

This was Rita's first time in this restaurant and as they entered they were greeted by the waiter and guided towards their respective private room already booked earlier.

She liked the interior and location of the private room in first look itself that featured traditional tatami flooring with a look out into the garden that provided an exclusive ambiance.

The seating chairs were very comfortable in crescent shape around a round, elegant wood crafted table in the center. All in all a very comfortable cozy and beautiful place to have a romantic date.

As they were settling down on their seats in the private room, Dean's phone rang and Rita heard him say, "That's okay Ms. Sheng. I understand well. Yes, call me once everything is good and we can reschedule the meeting once you are fine with it…"

Then he hung up the phone and looked at Rita, "Ms. Sheng cancelled the meeting because of some emergency matters on her side."

"Oh," Rita gasped and was about to get up from her seat when Dean put his hand on her shoulders and pushed her back to sit and stopped her from getting up from there.

"What are you doing?" Dean asked while his hand held Rita's arm.

"Oh… you said the meeting was cancelled. So let's go and head home already. Grandpa shall be waiting for us and I should help Arya in the kitchen and with dinner also if I am free." Rita said simply.

Dean let out a deep sigh before he looked at Rita in the eye and smiled sweetly.

"Dear wife, I know you care a lot about Grandpa and Arya. But come to think of it, such a beautiful and romantic place, a lovely couple and awesome food, should you not think about not breaking my heart? I mean we are here already… might as well enjoy the dinner here. So sit back and the delicious food will arrive soon…" he said in his sweetest manner.

Rita sat back reluctantly and at the same time the door opened and the food were served.

Dean moved towards Rita and picked a spoonful of rice and took to Rita's mouth and gestured her to eat from his spoon. She blushed hard when Dean tried to feed her…

"What are u doing?" she asked timidly.

"Returning you the favor for helping me out when I couldn't use my arms. Faster eat it or my arm will freeze in here," Dean said as he blinked and showed his puppy dog eyes to her.

Rita's heart started to beat irregularly once more with that simple blinking of his eyes.

She immediately took the food in her mouth because she knew how Dean will insist even if she refused it.

"Now Stop that. And stop feeding me, I took care of you because I was responsible for what happened to your arm. And I will always fulfill my obligations and payback." She said nonchalantly.

Dean's forehead creased. 'When will you surrender to me?' He wanted to ask her.

But instead he said, "Yeah you're right. You're responsible and the damage you caused was quite heavy. So many days or weeks in cast costed me a lifetime worth of things."

He moved closer to Rita fixed is eyes right into hers and grabbed her chin with his thumb and finger of the other hand and whispered in his heavy voice with clenched teeth, "So now I will make sure that you pay with all these debts of yours with your life my wife, there will be no escaping now. Now take care of my heart, that is shouting I love you, all your life and stay with me forever to be responsible for each and every need of mine…"

Rita was awestruck on these words of Dean and just kept looking at his handsome face that shows a hint of stubbornness and resentment yet was filled with complex emotions she couldn't understand.

The next thing Rita knew was Dean's lips were already on hers like he was sealing his own pursuit...
