Denise would better suite as an actress and not as a business woman as she was.

He never met a woman of her kind; she was still holding his arms tightly when they went out.

"Let's grab something to eat. I'm hungry. Uncle Lee told me that your whole day was vacant for me so don't you dare invent an alibi to escape my company." Denise said grinning.

"I told you I will bring you to places you will definitely like," Shawn said in a serious tone.

Yes, he was free from legal business matters but he needed to see and meet someone from the underworld right now, a very close friend of his. And where they usually meet was a crowded place with common people around.

He looked at Denise's outfit and smirked as he thought silently, 'Let's see how you will blend in.'

He just hoped that after this, Denise will realise what she was getting herself into. She must decide to cancel everything on her own and stop this game she was doing because it's no longer funny at all.

Denise creased her forehead when they reached an unfamiliar place but she did not react. She knew that Shawn will try to scare her but she was too adventurous to care.

Besides, she was with Shawn so she's not worried at all... Deep inside she felt she could trust the Mr. Villain.

They went out of the car, it's like a downtown area with full of street food stalls and small eatery rooms. It's too crowded too and her dress did not fit with the place at all.

Shawn removed his coat and Denise quickly pulled it from his hands.

"Give me that. Do you think this will turn me off? Is this the best you got? Geez I could easily blend in with no sweat!" she hissed as she wore Shawn's coat.

She twitched her mouth. Did he really think she's the typical social heiress like most women in their society? She wanted to laugh hard and voiced out to him that she's one of the boys and a cowboy on top of that. But she remained quiet because she wanted to see what Dean was planning to scare her.

Dean's eyebrow furrowed. Most of the people in the place know him so no one would dare to touch anyone whom he was with that's why he's confident to bring Denise around.

They entered a dark alley and Denise felt eerie so she grabbed Dean's hand and she smiled when the latter did not complain.

"Where are we going anyway?" she asked to break the silence as they walked.

"Grab lunch. You said you're hungry. I need to meet someone there so you eat there while I talk to a friend." Shawn said simply.

He sighed; Denise was not the typical heiress so bringing her here was a big failure. He wasn't sure how he should react. He was glad and worried at the same time.

He should feel disappointed but he was not.

They entered the restaurant where he would meet his trusted friend.

He smiled seeing Jo sitting already in his favourite place and already eating their favourite meals during the hard times of training they shared.

"Hey, you did not bother to wait and dig in already. Are you that hungry?" He said grinning as he tapped Jo's shoulder.

Jo stood up and hugged him tight as then they grabbed each other hands as their usual gestures for brotherhood.

Denise who was just observing couldn't help but smile. It's like she was watching a gangster gestures like in movies. The man must have been as the same age as Shawn. The only difference was their outfits.

"Man look at you! As handsome as always! No wonder you are Old Man Skull's favourite. Someone he could display anytime and..." Jo said laughing as he shook his head.

Shawn and him undergone the same training but Shawn was chosen and was adopted legally by the Old Man Skull. He knew well the story behind it. They both knew, Old Man Skull was using him for revenge and Shawn had his own story too, to agree to be used by the Old Man like that.

"Hey don't forget I have the brains," Shawn answered laughing in a jest.

"Yes, true enough. Beauty and brains... You're the total package." Jo blurted out in loud laughter and Shawn laughed too.

Denise's jaw dropped. She was witnessing a different side of Mr. Villain. The bubbly Mr. Villain at that moment and she blinked several times to make sure she was not hallucinating at all. She even pinched her arms.

'So this was the other side of him without the mask... How adorable...' she thought silently as she stared to Shawn.

That time Jo looked at Denise who he just noticed and shifted his gaze to Shawn with an arched brow.

"Why would you bring a flower in here? She's your fiancée right? I saw everything in the news. So you agreed to Old Man Skull in the end?" Jo asked suddenly with a confused look.

Denise eyebrow arched as she interrupted, "What is this? Are you two the only person around and you keep talking like I'm not around?"

She smiled to the man Shawn was talking to, introduced herself politely and offered her hand for a hand shake.

The man hesitated for a while because he looked not presentable enough to accept such a beautiful hand for a hand shake.

Denise who got an idea of what the man was thinking grabbed his hand with her two hands.

"There... What's so hard about a hand shake? We have common hand and it's rude to keep a lady waiting." She said smiling sweetly to the man who blushed.

Jo looked at Shawn while the latter shrugged his shoulders and sat on a chair instead.

Shawn was shocked too with Denise's actions but chose to observe more. He was interested to know when Denise will reach her endpoint. He wanted to know until when she could last with him... suddenly the feeling of having someone around like her crossed his mind...
