Denise really admired that her Big Bro Ryu was genuinely concerned about Shawn and their relationship and wanted to clear things out regarding the misunderstandings between Shawn and the Kens.

She told Arya that she would also try her best to help but Arya insisted that she must not get involved and that she should focus more on staying at Shawn's side and must not meddle with issues regarding Kens and let big bro Ryu handle everything.

After a careful thought, Denise realized that she did not want Shawn to misunderstand her.

Arya was right, if she would open things to Shawn in favor of the Kens, Shawn might think that she was not truly in love with him but is gaining his trust to be able to help the Kens.

Maybe Shawn doesn't lose his trust in her and listen to the whole thing with an open mind and even understand the point of view of Kens also.

But right now all these things were just assumptions and they cannot take any chance with it...

She decided to observe the situation for now and should try to balance Shawn's personality because the last time when he talked about the Kens in front of her was when he was drunk and she could tell from what he spoke that the resentment in his heart against the Kens was too much to just fade away by some simple talks and it would need some solid grounds for Shawn to be harmonious with his family.

While she was fidgeting with all those serious thoughts about Shawn's life, flashes of her intimate moments with Shawn interrupted her like a commercial break in her head and it made her feel bashful though she was all alone in her room.

Her thoughts drifted smoothly towards her relationship with Shawn and she couldn't be happier than this for herself.

She decided to send Shawn text messages instead of calling him up…

Denise kept her phone on the bed and went to pick some dress to go change and get ready.

Shawn: "Why are you sending messages and not just call me?"

Denise mouth twisted as she seemed to cut her tongue out. She was such enchanted by his voice that she almost forgot to speak.

Shawn: "Hello Denise… Are you there?"

Denise: "Uhm yes darling I'm here. I thought you might be busy and I would end up disturbing you if I call you, so I sent text instead of calling."

Shawn: "Denise, there is only one call that will never disturb me or any work of mine and that's your call. Instead, I would love to keep hearing your voice every now and then while working. So don't ever think twice before calling me."

"Now tell me what are you doing? What is your plan for the day?"

Denise: "Alright I will remember that, and thanks for keeping me so close in your heart. I'm about to get dressed to go and check the bar once and then I plan to visit sis Arya on her set and watch her shoot today."

"Do you want to accompany me at her shooting site later? I mean, it's been long since you two last met and maybe it's better if you can talk… I mean the last meeting was not good so maybe you want to see and talk to her about certain things and clear out the wrong thoughts."

She knew Shawn would be busy lately but she still wanted to ask him and see how he would react.

Shawn: "Are you sure? I mean, I had an interest with Arya before and I'm sure you're aware of that?"

Denise: "Well that's why you must see her and asses yourself if you still like her the same way or now your priorities have changed and its me your wife who occupies that special place in your heart. I must also see if its sis Arya who weighs more in your heart or I am more important for you now."

"So, Yes, it's okay with me. Besides, Arya is married already and is head over heels for brother Ryu so there's nothing to worry for me."

Denise paused and said in a soft whispering tone, "Above all Shawn, I trust you and I'm very confident that you won't ever mess up our relationship. Our marriage is to last for a lifetime and more. And I know even you are serious about our marriage."

Then she added, "And most important thing my darling husband, you cannot get anyone better and more loving for yourself than me. You better treasure this one of a kind, beautiful and smart wife… who also owns a bar…"

She said in a jest. She knew that there will never be a day when she would get jealous of her sis Arya because she knew how strong her sis' relationship with big bro Ryu is and she had immense respect for her friend turned sis Arya in her heart.

She heard Shawn's laughter at the other line.

Shawn: "You sound so confident about yourself hmmm I like your confidence sweetheart. But..… Do you really trust and believe me that much?"

Denise: "Well I don't know why but somehow yes I do… sooo… you better don't break that trust because you will not like what I become when I'm angry. Trust me; I'm a disaster you would wish you avoided instead…"

She said in a jest and laughed.

Shawn: "Alright, alright my beautiful disaster, I'll be at your house in one hour so get ready."

Denise: "Wait… That's too early. And you'll pick me up?"

Shawn: "Of course I will. By the way who's there with you now?"

Denise: "You mean here in the house? It's just me and the maids right now and no one else since dad and big bro left for work and my younger brother already left for school to return back in the evening after his sports training… Why?"

Shawn: "Nothing… Just show me inside your house and room before we go to watch Arya's shooting? You sneaked in my room that night and took advantage of me, so now you should tour me around and let me sneak into your room too."

Denise: "What?! But…"

She hesitated to answer him in affirmation for a while as her eyes widened when she saw the messed up room of hers.

She still remembered how organized each and every thing in Shawn's bedroom was… but she was not a very organized person when it comes to her clothes or her other stuff in the rom moreover today… her room was a bit more messy than usual also since she stayed inside lazily, dreaming about Shawn and their time together, till this late not letting the maid to clean it yet.

Shawn: "Hello Denise are you there? Why are you not responding? Don't worry I will not do anything unusual if you're worried that I will…"

Denise quickly interrupt Shawn's talking…

Denise: "No, it's okay I don't mind. Do what you want to do to me… Urgh… I mean do whatever you want in my house and room… Sneak in anytime you want to and stay as long as you want and I will not mind…"

Shawn laughed hard with Denise bluntness that his personal assistant who went inside his office to get the documents he signed looked so shocked.

For so many years that he was working under him in the company, this was the very first time he heard his Boss Shawn laugh like that.

It was a genuine hearty laugh that his assistant could sense by it that Shawn was happy to talk with the person he was talking to on the phone.

The assistant was actually caught in a dilemma now if he should report this to Chairman Lee because he was instructed by his father to report anything unusual he would notice about his Boss.

He was contemplating hard in his mind now whether he would ask Shawn about this matter or follow the Chairman's orders instead.
