He told her everything and he started it with the moment he had met her . He confessed that he had fallen in love to her that day she said hello . Then he continued as he came clean of everything . He did not leave a single thing that involved Cecile . He told the truth, every little piece of truth from the start .

After his long confession, Karl exhaled loudly . He felt that the heaviness in chest had lightened .
He couldn't believe that he finally did it . There's no more hiding, no more secrets .

"But you know what makes me sad? It's because you are saying sorry for the wrong thing . . . " he heard her speak with tone of irritability .

Karl creased his forehead and looked at Cecile with a confused face as he blinked several times . He was quite at lost with the sudden change on Cecile's expression .

Cecile's mouth twitched as she let out a long deep sigh . She already had a hunch that the man that night who she had slept with was Karl . But she was too occupied with Aldrin's death to care less .

She knew Karl was a nice man . He was always good to her even before but it really surprised her that he had loved her in silence for that long without saying a word until now .

"Karl we've been together and married for years and you will only tell me your true feelings now? Did you know the dilemma I suffered thinking you just married me because you want to take responsibility on what had happened that night?" Cecile snapped .

Karl's mouth opened wide in shock . He did not expect Cecile's reaction . He could say that her current look was neither negative nor positive .

Cecile told him also everything and how she had waited for him to clarify things .

They apparently had a big misunderstanding for both being quiet for all those years .

"I assumed all your actions with the thought that you're doing things because you feel responsible . For all those years, how I hoped that we could truly act like married couple with feelings involve like normal people, like how it should be… Not like a robot that we often did things because it's our responsibility as a married couple," Cecile continued but this time she was stammering as she talked . Her tears that she was trying to suppress began to fall out from her eyes .

Hearing that, Karl hugged Cecile tight and said, "I'm really sorry . Cecile I promise to make things right . Oh God, I'm so stupid . I am sorry . . . "

This time Cecile smiled and said, "Stop teasing . . . and joking . . . See? I'm no longer crying so stop . "

Karl winked at her before he pulled his wife once more and wrapped her to his embrace .

From now on, both of them will focus on the future… they will move forward making up for those years wasted .
