The CEO Who Hates Me 151 Fake Love Story 1 – Whole Shebang

She made sure that they were the perfect picture of a couple in love. They must nail the fake love story she created.

"Don't sigh like that... You've been doing that too often and the interviewer might notice you." Denise scolded him while the interviewer was talking to the staff.

"Usually man like it, woman being touchy like this. Gosh, I know that I'm pretty but why are you like that? Couldn't you act a bit calm instead?" She said with pursed lips.

Shawn frowned. He's not comfortable at all. Denise was holding his hand and her grip was really tight while she stayed so close to him.

He was uneasy that he wanted to go out and breathe for fresh air.

"What are you? Is this your first time getting this close to a woman? Look at yourself you are even blushing with simple words like this? Don't tell me Mr. Villain likes me that's why you're reacting like that?" She suddenly teased when she noticed Shawn's reddening.

"This is fun." She muttered.

She felt like she won a lottery by dominating a handsome villain like this. She had the dice in her hand and that was what she was feeling because Shawn did not bother to say a word to her.

He was quiet the whole time.

The interviewer walked towards them and introduced himself.

After a few greetings, he wasted no more time to ask the couple all the questions their team had prepared...

Interviewer: Hello Mr. Lee and Ms. Ming. I'm sure that all our readers would first like to know how the story began. How the mysterious Mr. Shawn Lee and the gorgeous Ms. Denise Ming ended up kissing in that event... I mean, we would like to know how the love story between you guys started...
Denise laughed demurely. She knew the interviewer by name and had heard that the guy loves to joke around. He's very blunt too like most of gays in their industry.

"So I will ask now the questions... one by one..." the interviewer named Denver said smiling.

1. When did you get engaged?

Denise: "Oh it got official that night of the party."

Shawn: "April 4, 2019."

2. How did you first meet?

Denise: "We met at a friend's party where we had mutual friends there."

Shawn: "One of my closest friends had a huge crush on Denise, and he brought her over to that friend's party. Looking back it wasn't the smartest move he's ever made."

Denise creased her forehead. The last sentence was not part of the script she texted him.

'Hmm. Mr. Villain is doing well. Not bad, he can add adlib on the spot,' she thought silently as she looked at Shawn and blinked an eye on him.

Shawn did not react but inside he's having mixed emotions.

Denver suddenly paused and looked at Shawn and Denise closely though hesitating he still asked, "Can we know what party is that and who is that common friend was?

Denise shook her head and winked at Denver, "Nah let's keep that one private. They wouldn't like to be dragged in... so if you could understand...

Denver smiled and nodded. He continued with the questions...

3. When/how did you first fall in love with your significant other?

Denise: I fell in love with Shawn during the times that he's pursuing me. His warm heart and dedication to our relationship was displayed and I always told myself that when I find someone that I can be with 24/7, that was the man that I was going to marry.

Shawn: "I don't remember the exact time or place or memory that made me fall in love with her, but I do remember when I realized I was. One weekend a few friends came to visit me, and we made a trip to Europe. The whole time I was there I wouldn't shut up about her."

Then he paused as if hesitating to continue, however, Denise ripped on his hand tightened. It was obvious that it was a signal from her for him to continue…

Shawn did not know whether to laugh or just ran out from that interview but in the end he continued…

Shawn: "Every store we went to I was looking for things to buy her, every interesting thing I saw I wanted to tell her about, every joke I told I kept waiting to hear her laugh. We had been doing the long-distance thing that time, and it was that weekend that I realized that I loved her, and never wanted to spend another day without her."

Denise couldn't hide her amazement. Shawn was so good in memorization. She couldn't believe that he did remember every single detail.

Denver smiled widely and commented, "Wow, Mr. Lee is such a romantic person… I'm pretty sure Ms. Ming was so happy hearing those words again. See how her cheeks are crimson red right now. How nice it is to be in love…"

Denise wanted to burst out in laughter with that comment but suppressed herself. Instead, she touched Shawn's chin and smiled at him with a wink and said, "You're right who wouldn't fall for this Mr. Perfect. He's like a sun that gives sunshine to my days… He's the reason that I'm enjoying my life lately…"

Shawn was caught of guard in that simple gesture making him blushed unknowingly. This was not good, the woman was dominating him and he must not let this slide nor happened again.

Denver laughed and continued…

4. What's the most memorable date you've had?

Denise: "The night that we went on a carriage ride and got to go ice skating in the park. We laughed for hours and got a chance to snuggle under the blanket together."

Shawn: "I took her to do all the cute things you see in the movies. We went ice skating, went on a carriage ride in Central Park and had a nice dinner — the whole shebang."

Denver laughed, "Oh shebang… I can't remember if I've heard those words on my previous interviews but hearing it from Mr. Lee, it's really refreshing for our mysterious CEO…"

5. What quality do you most admire about the other person?

Denise: "The quality that I admire most about Shawn is his personality. No matter what, he always knows what kind of day that I am having. Good or bad, he can make me smile — his goofy personality always makes that happen!"

Shawn's mouth twitched on that answer of Denise but he quickly replaced it with a smile when Denver looked at him and waited for his answer.

Shawn: "Well, I admire most her ability to adapt to any social situation. Whether it's a reunion with my friends, or dinner with my second cousins, she can get along, and have a conversation with anyone. She is a crazy person…"

Denver's eyes widened with his last word as if confused if it's a compliment or something else because Shawn looked serious as he said the word crazy in a heavy tone.

Denise laughed out hard and commented instead, "Yeah, he's right. He loves how crazy I am. I often surprise him on various crazy stuffs. I don't want a boring relationship… if you know what I mean?"

She looked at Shawn and pinched his cheek, "Hmm this fiancé of mine is really cute. I like him very much…"

Shawn looked at Denver and said, "See how crazy she is? It really makes me want to bring her everywhere with me."

Shawn smiled mischievously and added, "Oh I almost forgot, later I will bring her to an interesting place and I'm sure she'll blend in so well…"
