One night with the Prince 74 Preparing For The Future

"Understood, but have him call me as soon as he's concluded whatever it that keeping him busy. I have an urgent message for him, and it can't wait. You understand?!" The Queen hangs up as soon as she delivered her request to Pierre.

Pierre glanced at the area where Prince Alexander was still collapsed into the ground with his two hands shielding his face, and once in a while would rake his hair. Then start trembling as if his sobbing.

Pierre decided to give his boss some times and decided to hang out at the bar below the hotel. He quietly sneaked out and closed the door without Prince Alexander knowing he had stepped out.

On the way to the bar, Pierre runs across with Ms. Garcia at the lobby of the hotel. Pierre thought what a coincidence to see her in Washington D.C. and walked towards her.

"Good Evening, Madam! How are you? What a coincidence to meet you here." Pierre greeted Ms. Garcia respectfully.

Ms. Garcia was startled and looked at Pierre from head to toe before stopping on his face. "And who are you? " She asked him in a stern and calm demeanor.

"Please, accept my apology! I don't mean any disrespect, My name is Pierre, and I'm the Assistant of the person that Miss Alexa Grant was having an issue back in the Philippines." He explained as calmly as he could.

It dawned to Ms. Garcia who Pierre was talking about, the good looking man that was trying to abuse Alexa, the pervert... "Hmmm, I'm sorry, but I don't recall the incident your talking about. If you'll excuse me, I have matters to attend to." She then turned around and walked towards the elevator.

"Madam, Madam! Please! Give me a moment of your time! I just have a few questions, and I implore you to give me a moment of your time!" Pierre was implored with a panicked look on his face. 'This lady was his last hope, maybe she has an idea where Alexa is, and probably with her right now. He cannot let her get away no matter what the consequences.' Pierre was thinking while waiting for Ms. Garcia's reply.

'I wonder what's he wanted? Could it be about Alexa? Is his pervert boss still interested in Alexa? Well, no matter what, I cannot divulge where she's at, and I need to make sure these people do not find out either. I need to get rid of this person and call Alexa as soon as possible.' "I'll give five minutes, and starts now!" Ms. Garcia's voice was a little intimidating, but Pierre is not easily afraid.

"I'll get straight to the point then. My boss seems to have fallen for Miss Alexa, and he's losing his mind right now looking for her. She vanished in the thin air. Last we know, she's here in Washington D.C., and you are also here. So, what I want to know is... "

"Mr. Pierre, if you were going to ask if she's with me or if I know where she is? The answer is no! And lastly, even if I do! I would never tell you or your pervert employer. You understand!" Just in time for the elevator to open, and Ms. Garcia quickly went and punched all the button to misguide Pierre of her floor number.

Pierre stood still viewing the numbers in front on the top of the elevator, he needed to know which floor it would stop and he could try and see if maybe... just maybe the missing Miss Grant would suddenly show up. He wishes and prays anyway for the sanity of his Highness Prince Alexander.

Alexa was already laying down on her bed and getting ready to sleep when her phone started blinking. She took a peek at the number to see who could be calling her. There are only a few people who know her name, and The number was unknown to her, Alexa ignored the number and declined the call.

She was about to close her eyes when her phone beeps, meaning she received a message from whoever the caller was. Alexa doesn't have much choice but to check who it is, or what it is. It was a voice mail from the caller.

[ Alexa dear, when you hear this message, call me immediately, it's urgent!] It was Ms. Garcia's voice.

Alexa quickly got up and dialed Ms. Garcia's number. "Hello! Yes, it's me, Ms. Garcia! You said it's urgent, what is it?" She was anxious now if she doesn't find out; She won't be able to go to sleep.

Ms. Garcia relays the detail of her encounter with Pierre and how he looks anxious to find her whereabouts. She also reminds her to asks the President or Daniel to do something about her pieces of information that was easy to obtain with the right connection.

"Thank you! Ms. Garcia, I'll make sure that they do something about that, I'm afraid these people were after me because I had beat him up and wanted to get an act of revenge from me." Alexa concluded.

Alexa remembers she wanted to ask Ms. Garcia a question. "Ms. Garcia, before we hang up, I have a question if you got a minute?"

"Sure! speak, what is your question?"

"How did you know that I'm at the White House? Not many people know where I went, actually, there was only one." Alexa asked curiously.

Ms. Garcia hesitated for a moment if she should tell Alexa the truth or lie, "It was the investigator that found you and took you back here to meet your father. He's a friend of mine, and I was at his office asking to help me locate you, and the rest is history."

"Hahaha! What a small world we live in, the person that found me is a friend of yours, you hire him to be fine me, and here we are. Hahaha! That's funny, funny indeed!" Alexa looked at the time on her cellphone and saw that it was late already.

"Well, I'm going to bed now, it's late, and I need to get up early tomorrow. Ms. Garcia, don't worry about that pervert, I don't care who he is, he would not be able to get near me, now or in the future, Alright! Good night!"

Alexa hangs up the phone without a care in the world. Whoever that perverted man is, he would not be able to enter the White House, so she's safe and sound...[At least that's what she thought] She then, closed her eyes and went into a deep slumber...

The next day, Ms. Garcia was back at the White House. However, this time, she has an appointment with President Grant to discuss Alexa's future...

However, when Ms. Garcia arrives at the Oval Office for her appointment, she diverted to what it looks like a meeting room. When the Assistant Aid of President Grant opened the door of the meeting room, Ms. Garcia was stunned to see at least twenty older men and women seated, waiting for the President to arrive.

Ms. Garcia greeted everyone and was ushered to seat nearby where the President would be seating.

After scanning the whole room, she realized that she recognized most of the person in there, they are the President's Advisors. Ms. Grant is now curious as to why she's there as well.

However, she would need to wait for the President to arrive, she's sure they would let her know then.

A couple of minutes later, President Grant comes and the meeting has begun. The topic of discussion... "Alexa Grant's and her future."
