ONE NIGHT WITH THE PRINCE Chapter 231 - Trouble

Alexa was ready to go to war when she heard that Crown Prince Romano was in the same hotel.  She quickly stood up and was prepared to go down the lobby to confront him.  She could never forgive him for the trouble he had caused her the year before.  If not for her father and brother being a powerful man, she could have ended up in jail.

Crown Prince Romano was the one who had accused her of pushing Princess Angelica and Prince Alexander off the balcony.  If her family wasn't quick enough to get her out of the palace that day, who knows what would have happened to her, she could never forgive him for what he had done to her, and she's ready to confront him.

It's a good thing that Prince Alexander was quick enough to hold on to her tightly.  He quickly hugged her as tight as he could before whispering some endearing word.   "Sweetheart, calm down... Why concern yourself with that man, he's not worthy of your time.   Why not spend it with me, alright!"

With Alexa's outburst, Prince Alexander becomes weary.  He knows her temper, and he was afraid that she would go down there and face him head-on.   He could still remember how good she is in martial arts.  When they first met, she had kicked his butt when he tried to make a pass at her.

He did what he thought the best at the moment, Prince Alexander pulled Alexa towards him and hugged her as tight as he could before kissing her softly on her lips.  He needs to cool her down, and the only way to do that was to make her feel jelly.  

"Sweetheart, since we are about to leave the country anyway, let's forget about him for now.  It will not do any good if you get into a headline before you turn over your crown in a month.   Let's get ready to head to the airport, alright!" Prince Alexander continued kissing her softly and trying to coax her in return.

Alexa calms down after Prince Alexander's kiss.  She thought about what he had said, and he's right.  They would be going in a couple of hours to go back to America anyway.  They would be an ocean away from the jerk that accused her of pushing Princess Angelica off the balcony.

Luckily her father and brother have power, and they were able to take off the mess, and she didn't have to give up her crown.   If not, she might even spend time in jail. Alexa shivered just from the thought of her spending a night in jail.  

Ann and Eva, who was standing quietly watching the couple, had to make some noise to let them know that they were not alone.  'Ahem!  Ahem!"  Ann cleared her throat loud enough for the couple to separate.

"I'm sorry!  I guess we should be going then. Alexa gives Prince Alexander another kiss before she left with Ann and Eva.

Prince Alexander and Pierre didn't linger any longer than needed.  They don't want to run-across Crown Prince Romano.  They went out of the private exit that's mostly used by celebrities or VIP guest that doesn't want anyone to know that they stayed in the hotel.

Alexa didn't go back to the island. Instead, Ann took her back to her home and waited for Lucas to arrived with her belongings.  Half an hour later, Lucas arrived with a grim face. He was pissed off for what Alexa had done, and he was about to give her a tongue lashing. 

However, when Alexa ran and hugged him as soon as she saw him...  All the pent up anger dissipates.  His arms were on the air when Alexa run to him, and he felt awkward, hugging her back.  However, when he pressed her shaking and sobbing her heart out... there was nothing he could do but to console his charge.

Alexa was in tears while apologizing at the same time.  She knows that what she did was wrong, and she doesn't want Lucas to get in trouble for what she had done.  They had been together for many years now, and he's like an older brother to her.

"Brother Lucas, 'huh-huh-huh...' you wouldn't believe what happened last night.  It was a miracle, and I'm so happy!"  Alexa said while still in Lucas embrace crying like a baby.

Lucas pulls Alexa's hand and pushed her a little further so he could hear what she was mumbling.  

"What happened that made so happy, yet crying your heart out?"  He asked with a soothing voice like an older brother instead of her bodyguard.

"I don't want to spoil the surprise, just wait until we get to the airport and you will know."  That's all Alexa said, for she wanted to surprise Lucas. 

Lucas knows how devastated Alexa was when they would not let her see him after the incident.  He and Logan had tried their best to find a way so she could visit Prince Alexander during the time he was in American soil. 

Unfortunately, no matter how much they tried to bribe the one that protecting Prince Alexander at that time.  They were unsuccessful for they have strict orders from the President and Daniel not to let Alexa see Prince Alexander while in a coma.  Thus, they could only resort to gathering information to report to Alexa.

For a couple of months, Alexa was fine as long as she has some news about Prince Alexander.  Unfortunately, the President found out what they were doing and had stopped them after only a few months.  Therefore, they had never found out that Prince Alexander went blind and lost part of his memory.  

An hour later, everyone arrived at the tarmac of Ninoy Intl. Airport to board the Go family private plane.  Prince Alexander and Pierre had arrived ahead of them and was waiting inside their vehicle.  

When Lucas saw the Stonasia Flag on the front of the car, he has an inkling that Prince Alexander was the passenger.  'So' this is what she's talking about.  Hahaha!  Thank you!  God!  It prays to have faith in you!'  He thought while he was getting out of the car.

Prince Alexander was about to get out of his car once he saw Lucas come out and open the back door of their vehicle.  He knew if Lucas was there, then Alexa would be the one seating at the back.  

Just as when Prince Alexander was about to step out of the vehicle. He saw a familiar face coming out of another car, and it made him scowl.  He stopped for a moment, unsure if he wanted this person to know that he could already see, and his memory has returned.

He knows that once this person finds out, it would be reported back to Stonasia.  He's unsure if he wanted to take the chance...
