ONE NIGHT WITH THE PRINCE Chapter 186 - You Reap What You Sow!

Alexa called Daniel desperately, needing to find out what's going on? However, he was in a conference with the first lady's family and unable to answer the call.

When she couldn't get a hold of Daniel, she, in turn, called her future sister-in-law Andrea.

"Hey! What's going on? What is this I hear about Jane Si? Is my brother there with you? He's not answering his phone, and I need to know how he is keeping up?"

Alexa blasted Andrea with inquiries without taking a breather. She's concerned about Daniel, and she's eager to know if he's alright.

"Daniel is excellent, and he's in a conference with the first lady's family right now. Jane Si is currently in the ICU. That's all I know. Are you on your way here at the funeral home or still at the house?" Andrea inquired curiously.

"Will be going out soon, I want to make sure that brother's alright. I know this must be hard on him right now. With his mother passing, then Jane Si just had to add with the confusion. Sigh!"

Andrea had to give a calming response to Alexa, or she would not feel at ease and would be troubled the whole way. Knowing has she is, she's probably upset now and causing her to go insane unless she's able to converse with her brother soon.

"Don't worry Alexa. I will take care of Daniel; take care of yourself, and don't fuss... It has nothing to do with you and your brother... It's her who perform this predicament and punish for what she had caused. As the saying goes, ' you reap what you sow !' Isn't it right?"

"Alright! We are on our way, will be there as soon as possible. Please... Make sure that Daniel doesn't stress himself over this, alright?! Bye!" She hung up and went outside to hasten everyone so they could leave.

When they arrived at the funeral parlor, Daniel, Andrea, and President Grant were already there seated at the front row. However, from first lady Dianne's family... Only her mother and father were there. Jane Si and her parents were not present.

Alexa went to greet her father and brother before turning to Andrea and pulling her to the side. "What's going on? I heard what had happened to Jane Si last night. Is that why here parents are not here now?" She asked whispering not to let others hear their conversation.

"Yes! I only found out too right before you called. It seems that someone came and she was approached by someone last night. They are still checking who the person was, and once they know, they would be able to question the person.

" Unfortunately, she came across the wrong person, and she was found this morning in a hotel room with her hands tied and badly beaten. They took her to the emergency room, and as we speak, she has not gained consciousness as of yet." Andrea whispered back to Alexa, showing concern in her eyes as she looks at her husband to be.

"What a shame for it to happen to her when they had just lost my step-mother. But then, she's the only one to blame for what happened to her. She should have stayed at the funeral parlor or gone back to her hotel room and rest, instead of meeting with someone when they have a death in the family. Sigh!"

Alexa looked at her brother and father and let out a big sigh. She's getting upset for she cannot comfort them without being visible to the onlookers.

"Well, what's done is done. Let's get this over with so we could go back to the Philippines and finish the fashion show. I still have a lot of preparation to do for the beauty queen competition. Gosh! Too many things to do, so little time."

Alexa said before making her way back to where Chrissy, Sophia, and Prince Alexander were seating.

Prince Alexander was nowhere to be found when she arrived where he was supposed to be seating with Chrissy and Sophia. Alexa looked around and couldn't find him anywhere in the vicinity. She frowned.

"Mom, do you know here Alex went? I don't see him anywhere. Did he tell you where he was going?" Alexa asked anxiously while her eyes were still scanning around in case she only overlooked.

Chrissy looked up to Alexa and shook her head. "No, he didn't say anything. I thought he as with you, and didn't bother otherwise." 

"I saw him speaking with his assistant earlier when you were speaking with Andrea. Then, he was gone right after. I thought you knew!" Sophia informed Alexa, who's eyes were roaming around and not even paying attention to what she had said.

Alex when to find a secluded place and made a call to Prince Alexander. *Bzzz, bzzz, bzzzz.*

"Hi, sweetheart! What's up?" Prince Alexander greets with a sweet voice.

"Don't what's up, me! Where are you? I was only gone for a minute, and when I return... You were nowhere in sight?! What's going on?" She anxiously asked her voice were a little high pitched.

"I'm sorry, sweetheart! I'm in a conference room right now. I will return soon. A couple of Police Officer wanted to have a word with me. I didn't want people to see me speaking with them, so I made use of the funeral parlor's conference room. I'll be done soon." 

"What?! What do you mean they wanted to speak with you? For what reason?... I'm coming over, which room are you in and where is it? Give me direction!" Alexa's pissed off now. 

' What would the Police wants with Prince Alexander? Does it have anything to do with Jane Si? She needs to hurry up and check... Before it's too late .'  She thought as she rushed toward the direction he had given her...

Alexa took off without telling her mother and aunt, where she was heading. Chrissy and Sophia both followed with their eyes as Alexa runoff, wondering what's going on...?
