/ One night with the Prince 143 Beauty and Brain
"Let's talk when you get here, alright?! Love you!" Alexa ended the call with a kiss on the screen of her cellphone, right in front of Jane Si to witness. Jane Si rolled her eyes when she saw what Alexa has done. "I wonder who the unlucky man that had fallen from your scam. I hope he wakes up soon or he might one day find out that all his assets were gone." She mumbles loud enough for Prince Alexander to hear, and his face turned sour.
After hearing that, Prince Alexander replied with a smack and a loud one at that. Before saying, "I LOVE YOU, MORE!!!" To make sure that whoever it was heard what he had said loud and clear.
Alexa was happy to hear what he had done; her heart flutter more. And as soon as Alexa finished with her Prince, she turned her undivided attention to Jane Si.
Alexa first gives her a look over from head to toe, then back up and stopped right on Jane Si's well made-up face. She made a face and then sighed! Before greeting Jane Si politely, who's acting like a Diva right in front of her.
"Hello, Ms. Si! Long-time no see?" Was all Alexa said and was going to end it that way and prepares to leave. She has no time for chit-chat with a person like Jane Si, and Alexa was letting her know as she began walking back towards the President's Office.
"Hmmm, It was not long enough, but you're here now so… I guess there's nothing to be done about that. The air had been contaminated already by your appearance, what else could I do." As if that was not enough, Jane Si walked around Alexa and began checking out her outfit. She carefully looks to see what brand it was and who could be the designer.
However, no matter how hard she tries, she could not recognize the clothing and design. Therefore, she once again did what she's good at, start speaking nonsense.
" Hmmm, which Flemarket did you purchased your clothing, It's awful?!" She said it in an awful and hateful way that could turn an Angel like Alexa into a Devil in disguise.
"I don't think you would know where that Flemarker is since it's out of this world. Furthermore, A person's choice of clothing can heavily influence the impression they transmit and is therefore a ... clothing on judgments made in a working environment. There's this saying...-- The clothing is not what makes the person...-- You are what you wear. Do you understand what I mean?!" Alexa had just insulted Jane Si, and it seems she still has no clue whatsoever.
Unknown to Jane Si that the suits that Alexa was currently wearing was designed especially for her by Andrea and it's one of a kind edition. Therefore, she would never find it in any department stores, no matter how famous it was.
Alexa had enough and can no longer tolerate Jane Si's stupidity. However, she's a professional and would not act ignorant in front of a high and mighty Jane Si. Therefore, out of courtesy, she accurately, and professionally bid her goodbyes.
"I'm sorry, as much as I would like to continue this conversation, I do have an appointment, and I have to say my goodbye here. Later, Ms. Si." She then turned and was ready to walk back towards the President office.
Jane Si saw where she was heading and just had to say something stupid. " Are you sure you're in the right direction? That's the President's office. A person like shouldn't set your dirty foot in there, you might contaminate the place with your low birth." She shouted to Alexa, who's about to open the door without knocking.
Alexa stopped for a moment, turned around and looked at Jane Si, at first she seems like she was going to say something...- Then changes her mind and only gave Jane Si a smirk and continued opening the door without saying a word. "Click!" Was the last sound Jane Si heard as Alexa went inside the room without hesitation...
Sophia and Chrissy were discussing Alexa's future in the company when she came in and heard the last word Sophia spoken. "As I was saying, after this fashion show, we will launch her career in full blast. She's already famous in the European market, with the proper marketing and promotional, she would also be famous in Asia. We want her to become famous all over the world.' Sophia proudly told Chrissy businesslike.
Alexa heard it and interspersed with the conversation. "Aunty, I appreciate what you're saying, but at the moment let me finish this gig first, and we could talk again later. Alright!"
She then went towards Chrissy to sit down next to her and hold her hands. "I'm thinking of taking a break after the fashion show so we could do some mother and daughter bonding, would that be alright with you?"
"I would love that very much, we had lost so much time, and there are so many things I want to teach you yet and prepare you for the competition. Sure! Will do that after the fashion show." Chrissy embraces her daughter full of love.
Sophia was excited to hear that Alexa would be competing, in what...-- She has no idea at all. But she's willing to support her niece all the way, whatever it is... "I'm fine with that, let me know if there's anything I could do to help, not that you would need it. You are a beauty with brain, and you will conquer whatever you set your eyes. That's the Wen blood in you, Hahaha!"
Alexa and Chrissy joined Sophia's waves of laughter. Thus Jane Si, with her manager whose outside waiting for her turn, heard it loud and clear.
"What was that all about?" Jane Si asked her manager, curiously.
"Well, from the sound of it, it seems that she's in good term with the President. Your guess is as good as mine." Her manager replied with concern showing on her eyes. They were there to try and convince Sophia to let Jane Si be the finale for the biggest fashion show that's about to happen.
However, from the way it looks, it seems that they already found the finale and Jane Si has no chance at all...- Her Manager was concerned with how Jane Si would react when she gets turned down... And they were about to find out, for Sophia, Alexa and Chrissy had just stepped out of the office and about to leave.
Jane Si, who's busy with her cellphone and was getting bored waiting, heard the door opened and look up to see Sophia, Alexa, and Chrissy walking out of the door. The contour of her face turned sour when she saw that Sophia was smiling brightly while speaking with Alexa.
Jane Si was in deep thought of how she could get rid of Alexa. Suddenly she realized who would be the right person to call for help,- her Aunt First Lady Dianne back in the States.
'That's right, only Aunty Dianne could help to get rid of this garbage. Just wait, Alexa Grant...- You would be out of the way soon enough.' She told herself with a smirk plastered on her face as she made her way to speak with Sophia...
"President Wen! President Wen, may I a have a word with you? It's imperative for you to know something about that person right there!" She said while pointing her finger at Alexa.
"Oh, really?!" Was all Sophia said as she looked at Jane Si up and down.
"Oh, Shit! Were in trouble now!" Her manager thought while shaking her head.
