One night with the Prince 149 Dr. Garcia

"Oh, Daniel... What should I do if anything happens to my mother? " Alexa cried on Daniel's shoulder while mumbling about her mother, but he was at a loss of what she was talking about?

"Alexa, baby girl... What are you talking about...? What is it about your mother? Did she not pass away when you were still a baby? I remember our father telling me about her a little."

"That's what he made us believe; that she was dead, and all this time she was alive and had been with us for the last five years." Alexa now was inconsolable and continued sobbing.

"Whoa! Back up! I'm at a loss here, you are not making any sense, and I don't know how I can help you if you don't give me the full details." Daniel was getting agitated and frustrated by the minute.

"Come! Let's sit down first, and then you can tell me everything so we can be in the boat here." He guided Alexa to one of the lawn chairs and sat her down gently. He then took the opposite chair to Alexa and gave her his full attention.

"Ok! Now, tell me from the beginning, and we will start from there. Don't leave anything out; this way, we can properly find a solution." Daniel said it as politically as he could. 

Alexa took a quick breather and began telling Daniel everything that had transpired. Up to Dr. Garcia suppressing Chrissy's memory for selfish reasons and keep her from leaving him.

"So! Because of that, I'm worried that he might have done something to her once again. She probably will forget who she is and who I am to her. This is crazy and... I'm going crazy!" Alexa exclaimed.

Daniel was speechless and unable to utter any comforting words to his sister. He was dumbfounded that he only stared at Alexa blankly. Suddenly, Daniel thought of something. President Grant! He could help them figure something out. 

"Alexa, maybe we should call our father and let him know what is going on. What do you think?"

When Alexa heard President Grant mentioned, her eyes brightly shined, and she smiled at her brother. "You're right! We can contact dad and let him know about my mom. But, what if he decides to come in person...? That will be a problem with First Lady Dianne if she finds out. 

"No, no! We can't let him know yet. Let's figure something out first. Only if we cannot handle it ourselves, then we would ask dad for help. Do you agree?"

Daniel did not want to, but he had no choice as he knew the kind of person his mother was. Alexa did have a point about his mother. The First Lady was one cunning Lady, and he was afraid that she might do something... to harm Alexa and her mother in return.

Prince Alexander realized that Alexa was not in the parlor any longer; hence, he began searching for her. He was shocked when he arrived and heard the siblings conversation. He did not know if he should announce his presence or back away and go back to the parlor as if nothing happened.

He was still contemplating what he was going to do when Daniel happened to look up and saw him standing there. The two locked eyes and both only stared without saying anything to Alexa.

Prince Alex decided to go ahead and let Alexa know about his presence. This way, he could try and help her with her dilemma. *Cough, cough* He slowly made his way to where the siblings were seated.

"There you are! I have been looking for you all over the place, and you're only seating here admiring the view. Hahahaha!" He tried to play coy, with the hope that she would believe his acting.

Alexa was not stupid. She knew what he was trying to do. She played along and put on a sweet smile before responding. "I'm sorry! Why don't you join us? It's a little stuffy in there, and we decided to get a breath of fresh air." 

Prince Alex sat next to Alexa and took her hands and faced her towards him. "Sweetheart, remember this always, no matter what problem you're having... I'm here. Alright?"

Alexa couldn't say anything in return for her older brother was right there looking at them. She only looked at Prince Alexander with her doe-like eyes and began sobbing once more. 

*Huh, huh, huh* "What should I do? I'm afraid something might have happened to her." She wanted to embrace him and receive comfort, but Daniel was right there in front of them, making them uncomfortable.

Luckily for them, Andrea decided to show up and drag Daniel out of the way for the two to be able to comfort each other.

"Sweet-bun, why don't you help me with something..." She then pulled him up from where he was sitting and dragged him out of there to give the two privacy.

"Thank you for coming sweetie-pie. I was trying to figure out how to get out of there without being obvious. You came at the right time,- I love you!"

He gave Andrea a thank you kiss before putting his arm around her shoulders to guide her toward the parlor.

Sophia was on the way out to the garden and ran into the couple. "Hi! By any chance, did you guys see Alexa? I have something to tell her and I can't seem to find her and Prince Alexander."

"They're in the garden at the moment. Is it something to do with her mother?" Daniel asked, calmly.

"What, mother? I keep hearing mother ever since we got here. Can someone please tell me what the hell is going on?" Andrea's eyes were bulging out of the socket, and curiosity was killing her. She looked at Daniel, then to Sophia, looking for the answers.

Daniel pulled her closer and then whispered. "I'll tell you later, alright? Let us go inside and let President Wen go to find Alexa. Come on...-" Daniel, pulled her to the side to let Sophia go by.

"After you!" Daniel paved the way for Sophia and let her pass.

"Thank you!" Sophia said and continued towards the garden. When she arrived at the nursery, Alexa and Prince Alex were already preparing to go back inside the house. 

"Alexa, Alexa, I received a call from your mother. She's on the way here with Dr. Garcia, and she wanted me to warn you ahead of time." Sophia excitedly informed her as she was walking towards them. 

"Thank God! He has not done anything to her. I was afraid that he might have given her a shot of that serum, and she would lose her memory again. Well, the good thing is that Dr. Garcia has no idea that her memory has returned. Therefore, when they arrive, try to act the usual. Alright? Come on, let's get back inside. She should be here at any moment."

Alexa's face turned bright after hearing what Sophia said. She happily hooked her arm with Prince Alex's arm. "Let's go! They might arrive at any minute, and we should warn everyone ahead of time."

"I already did, when I couldn't find you earlier, I took it upon myself to inform everyone, so they will know what to do in case they arrive while I'm looking for you. I hope you don't mind?" 

Alexa only smiled at her Aunty while they continued walking towards the house.

Sophia was right, not long after they made it back inside the house...- The butler announced that Dr. Garcia and his wife have arrived...
