Whatever you have in the world is like a bird that can fly away.

For the bible says:

Prov 23:5 5

Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven.

So you must link whatever you have with God. Whatever God has done in your life is a little thing compared to what he wants to do especially in these last days when God is pouring out his favour in a mighty way on the earth. My prayer is that you will not miss your portion.

Beloved, God will not have us experience what the world is experiencing although we are in the world.

Let us look at

Exodus 8:21-22

21 Else, if thou wilt not let my people go, behold, I will send swarms of flies upon thee, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thy houses: and the houses of the Egyptians shall be full of swarms of flies, and also the ground whereon they are.

22 And I will sever in that day the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there; to the end thou mayest know that I am the LORD in the midst of the earth.

God made a difference between the children of Israel and the Egyptians when he started his judgment in Egypt. But when God was about to do this he brought darkness upon the Egyptian and light over Goshen, the territory of his people.

God did not want to punish his people along with pharaoh, therefore he set Israel apart.

Beloved it takes more faith to doubt God than to believe him. The God we are serving is real.

Ex 9:3-4 3

Behold, the hand of the LORD is upon thy cattle which is in the field, upon the horses, upon the asses, upon the camels, upon the oxen, and upon the sheep: there shall be a very grievous murrain.

4 And the LORD shall sever between the cattle of Israel and the cattle of Egypt: and there shall nothing die of all that is the children's of Israel.

God went ahead to separate between the cattle of the Israelites and those of the Egyptians. You do not have to suffer what they suffer. God shall make a difference in your life by preserving what belong to you.

We must be ready to enter into God's favour in these last days.

God's supply is available but if there is no hunger, how does he meet us at the point of our need? Our hunger is what moves him to act on our behalf since a supplier is always at the mercy of the person that makes demand. Favour marks you for a distinction.

You can break the record in your family. You don't have to die the way others die, your days of murmuring and complaining are over. Believe that your better days are ahead of you,

As light is more recognizable in the midst of great darkness, the favour of God will catch up with you.

Psalm 41:11

11 By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.

Even in captivity, Daniel was marked for a difference

Dan 1:4

4 Children in whom was no blemish, but well favoured, and skilful in all wisdom, and cunning in knowledge, and understanding science, and such as had ability in them to stand in the king's palace, and whom they might teach the learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans.

Daniel and his friends were among those that were chosen to stand before the king, but Daniel made up his mind not to defile himself with the portion of the king's meat.

When they brought Daniel after three years, he had wisdom and favour. He became attractive and desired by the leadership of the nation he found himself.

Dan 1:9

9 Now God had brought Daniel into favour and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs.

People defend you when you are favoured. You don't have to be there, when they are talking against you. Favour makes somebody to speak for you. Favour is like the cloud of the latter rain. The latter rain is the rain needed for the harvest not to be corrupted.

Prov 16:15

15 In the light of the king's countenance is life; and his favour is as a cloud of the latter rain.

Rain brings refreshment. It makes crops to grow. When the king of kings is favouring you, lesser kings have no choice but to favour you. Favour comes from God.

Prov 12:2

2 A good man obtaineth favour of the LORD: but a man of wicked devices will he condemn.

God dishes out favour, not the favour of men but the favour of God. This compels men to help you.

Daniel, Joseph and Esther found themselves in critical situations in their days but the favour of God compelled men to help them.

By favour, the house of the enemy, was given over to Esther, and the king's decree was changed. The prime Minister lost his life for Modecai to take his position.

Psalm 30:5

5 For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

When you walk in favour, you don't die cheap for favour brings life. No matter how terrible the night may be, it won't prevent the coming of the daylight. Jesus is the model we are to follow.

Luke 2:52

52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.

He is the star that lightens every other stars. He rose to world acclaim from a background of dryness. If he walked in favour, you will walk in favour.

Isa.53:2

2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

There is no name today, greater than the name of Jesus.

The hatred and envy of religious leaders of his days could not stop him. He finished his course in the midst of religious conspiracies and blackmail. He had God's favour not just men's favour, for men's favour can change because men have a tendency to be envious and satanic in nature.

Beloved no matter the oppositions that may be coming against you, you will finish your course. We are encouraged to look unto Jesus.

When God was ready for the Israelites, He did not allow them to go out of Egypt empty. The wealth of Egypt was transferred to them. The same people that once hated the Israelites gave them all they requested.

By God favouring his people, the economy of Egypt came down and their wealth found its way into the hand of the Israelites.

36 And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians.

God did not take the Israelites to another land to bless them. Goshen, where the children of Israel were located was in Egypt. Yet they were marked out for a difference.

Your location is not the problem; the same God will mark you out for a difference.

The psalmist says the righteous are surrounded or compassed with favour like a shield.

Ps.5:12

12 For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

God has surrounded you with favour. You don't need to be afraid of disfavor and misfortune, for the favour of God will cause you to prosper.

Therefore do not go through life thinking that you cannot make it. You will make it.

Newspaper reports that are negative is not your portion. You are protected by the one that controls all things.

The God who punished the King of Babylon for misusing his cup will protect you because you are valuable and precious in his sight.

When men had rejected you, the lord of favour will make them change their mind to favour you. Start focusing beyond the circumstances and focus on God who can sub-due all situation.

Ps 37: 18-20

18 The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be forever.

19 They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.

20 But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.

Famine is not your portion God will satisfy you. What the world calls famine, you call satisfaction. David never called Goliath a giant, but he called him an uncircumcised philistine. So don't call it what others are calling it.

When you give God first place, he will do unusual things in your life. You are connected to suppliers and creativity. God does not want people to take the place of God in your life.

So, start believing him even in your tests and troubles. The help of man is failing at this hour and God wants to take credit for whatever he is doing in your life.

As light shines brighter than darkness, God's glory is more obvious in adversities and trials. When people are down to nothing, God is up to something. You should allow him to have his ways for his thoughts are greater than ours.

Beloved, your location is inconsequential to him. God will do things that are beyond your skill, talent and grace.

The presence of God turns the dry land into a place of fruitfulness. God will show himself mighty on your behalf.

Beloved, right opportunities will come your way. Those who think you don't matter will notice you. What looks difficult for man is simple for God to do for he is the lord of all flesh. He has the answer or solution before a need arises. But you must get rid of defeated mentality.

He will remove wrong people and bring the right people across your path. The wind of God's favour is shifting in your direction.

Prov 13:22

22 A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.

God will direct your step to the very top. He will vindicate you. Demons do not want you to manifest the blessing. That is why they are fighting you.

There are somethings prayer does not take away. Some doors have to close for others to open, so stop complaining about difficult moments. You must develop character in these tough times.

God is preparing you for your greatness. He is more interested in changing you than your circumstances for it is your character that will drive the grace and favour that God brings your way. David would have prayed for God to kill Saul, but God did not.

Don't be like Jonah who waited for negative prophecies to be fulfilled. For to him his image is more important than people. Don't be frustrated by what is not happening. Trust God. Keep on serving the lord. God will not leave you without bringing his word to fulfillment.

When you plant a seed it stays in the dark place for a while before coming out and even the things that comes out of the ground does not resemble your seed, but giving time, with preparation and good attitude you will reap if you stay in peace.

Mark 4:26-29

26 And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground;

27 And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how.

28 For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.

29 But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.
