The God of Special Favour 4 Understanding The Benefit Of A Borrowed Anointing

There is a purpose for everything that God did on earth. Even mosquitoes, God made them to pollinate flowers originally in order to add to the beauty of the earth. But when the world came under a curse, they started biting and spreading malaria. Understanding is a must if we will know the reason behind our lives.

Let us consider Gen.22:16-18

Gen 22:16-18

16 And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:

17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the seashore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;

18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.

Abraham here understood purpose and for this cause he became a contact point for the whole world to enter into blessing. This is the reason why Jesus came as an Israelite. It was not because God hated a black man. Jesus our Lord and savior also came for a purpose. This we can see in 1Jonh.3:8.

When purpose is not well understood, abuse is inevitable.

1 John 3:8 8

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Even God in relating with man, entered into a blood covenant with man in the new birth. This is because without covenant, there is no responsibility and where there is no responsibility, there is no accountability.

For example, a boy cannot just come into your house and demand for lunch. But if it is your son, you have no choice but to provide him a lunch. This is because covenant relationship between you and your wife brought the child to the world.

God wants us to be accountable to him that is why you must not compare yourself with others in the world. You can pass through difficulty but with faith, you cannot be swallowed up. That is why faith is your most valuable asset as a Christian. The bible says in the book of Habakkuk.2:4

Hab 2:4

4 Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.

Many as a result of their experiences in life generalize issues. They conclude in haste like David did saying that all men are liars. Ps.116:11

11. I said in my haste, all men are liars.

This is why you must be watchful. The root of bitterness contaminates your judgment. Weeping will not be forever.

Ps 30:5

5 For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

Ruth would have died forgotten but she connected to Naomi and eventually became the owner of the field with Boaz.

"Where you are isn't who you are… Never let your circumstance define you"

There is no situation that is difficult for the God we serve. Heaven cannot be bankrupt by what you ask for. God's will is to multiply you exceedingly.

Deut.1:11

11 (The LORD God of your fathers make you a thousand times so many more as ye are, and bless you, as he hath promised you!)

You must recognize that the anointing in your life is a borrowed anointing. So, don't let anything take you out of God's presence. Never be discouraged, you are coming out of every trouble. Job came out and God gave him double for all his trouble.

Let's see what we experience as a result of the anointing according to Ps.89:20-34.

Ps 89:20-34

20 I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:

21 With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him.

22 The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him.

23 And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him.

24 But my faithfulness and my mercy shall be with him: and in my name shall his horn be exalted.

25 I will set his hand also in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers. 26 He shall cry unto me, Thou art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation. 27 Also I will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth. 28 My mercy will I keep for him forevermore, and my covenant shall stand fast with him.

29 His seed also will I make to endure forever, and his throne as the days of heaven.

30 If his children forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments;

31 If they break my statutes, and keep not my commandments;

32 Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.

33 Nevertheless, my lovingkindness will I not utterly take from him, nor suffer my faithfulness to fail. 34 My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.

1. God finds you

2. God anoints you

3. God establishes you

4. God's arm strengthens you

5. The enemy cannot exact upon you

6. God fights for you

7. God's mercy will he not take from you

8. You exact influence on humanity

9. Your word carries power

Beloved, your part in this anointing is consecration. Make it your duty to love and respect the anointing, and it shall be well with you.
