Undefeatable – League of Legends Chapter 142

Inside the computer laboratory in Shanghai University, the relaxed Yu Luocheng had suddenly turned serious . His eyes were fixated on Caitlyn, or to be more precise, the player named Shallow Dream .

Caitlyn's shooting range was 650 while Draven's attack range was 550 . The former had made use of this 100 range difference to the maximum precision . Not only had she shot the opponent three times, but she had also forcefully ceased Draven's Blood Rush with her EQ-combo .

That was an outstanding maneuver . Even Yu Luocheng might not be as adept in playing Caitlyn .

'This player named Shallow Dream is very strong!'

Bottom line, this Caitlyn was the most prominent that Luocheng had ever seen . Perhaps, she was even the best ADC he had ever come across!

Draven only had half of his HP left . This was good timing to force the fight .

Yu Luocheng guided Thresh to walk nearer to the minion wave to collect souls but his eyes were following Draven's position closely .

Draven was subdued after he had failed his earlier assault . He went back to CS contentedly with his Spinning Axe . Yu Luocheng's Thresh fell back a little after collecting the souls and he positioned himself in a straight line with Draven and another dying minion in between them both .

If you were using Thresh or Blitzcrank while your opponent was a Draven, the most important thing you needed to pay attention to would be the location where Draven's ax is boomeranged back to . This is because almost all Draven players would move obsessively to catch the ax .

By grasping this instance and timing the hook properly, most of the time, the compulsive Draven would be caught .

James's Draven moved rather well behind the creep line . He refused to re-catch his ax at several risky positions . However, this did not mean that Yu Luocheng couldn't find an opening .

Shallow Dream's Caitlyn moved a step forward to last hit the minion further back .

This micro-move made by Caitlyn amazed Yu Luocheng . He now thought even more highly of her .

'Great!' Yu Luocheng complimented in his mind and pressed the Q key before Caitlyn made the shot .

Death Sentence!

His scythe flew out in a straight line . Just as it was about to be blocked by the minion, Caitlyn's bullet arrived right on time to kill the creep . This allowed the scythe to fly straight on toward the landing spot of Draven's ax .

Draven had moved there mindlessly to catch his ax but it seemed more like he was being pulled there involuntarily by the scythe of death! The scythe latched right onto his chest and Draven was hooked and subsequently pulled back slightly by the skill .

Shallow Dream's Caitlyn had already pressed forward . Almost as if she had anticipated the enemy would Flash away, she did not lay down any Snap Traps and focused solely on attacking while continuing her forward charge .

Luocheng swiftly activated the second cast of his Q-skill and Thresh immediately dashed toward the Glorious Executioner as well .

Draven's Summoner spell was Ignite and not Barrier, and his HP plummeted insanely without the extra protection .

James's Draven used Flash clumsily, almost simultaneous to the moment that Thresh began to dash forward . The Executioner1 was going to be killed by the Warden2 if he still refused to flee .

“Where are you going?” Yu Luocheng laughed confidently .

'You are not the only one with Flash!' Yu Luocheng did not use his E-skill the moment he jumped in . He reflexively clicked on Flash after Draven had done so .

'Flay! Come back to papa!'

Thresh's chain swept out and pulled Draven back once again . The only thing missing now was Caitlyn's final touch and Draven would be dead for sure then .

The opponent's SP was not a decoration . A timely Exhaust and hard CC were cast to hinder Caitlyn from making the final shot .

Shallow Dream's Caitlyn remained composed as she instantly removed the debuff with Cleanse and lit Thresh's Soul Lantern afterward .

Yu Luocheng's Dark Passage led Caitlyn to the most comfortable attacking spot .

Watching Caitlyn fly away, Bond, the SP, could only watch helplessly as the two of them pinned down Draven mercilessly .

“Ah!!!” After a horrible shriek, Draven dropped awkwardly onto the ground with both of his axes scattered at his sides .

After taking down Draven, Caitlyn did not seem satisfied and she began to pursue Nami, the enemy's support champion .

A Snap Trap was used to seal Nami's straight line escape route and she had no choice but to flee with Flash .

Caitlyn had traveled a long distance thanks to Thresh's Dark Passage and Nami was still well within Caitlyn's attack range even after using her Flash .

Shallow Dream's Caitlyn continued to chase Nami all the way into the tower .

“Damn! Why are you are still chasing? It's the tower!” Yu Luocheng exclaimed after seeing Caitlyn's ruthlessness .

It was unrealistic to ask Luocheng dive in now . Thresh was never going to catch up to the speedy Nami . Caitlyn was also able to shorten the gap only after she had used Flash .

'Come back you lunatic! This Caitlyn must be out of her mind! Why did she act so impulsively?' Luocheng was a little confused with Shallow Dream's decision . Nami actually still had 2/5 of her HP left!

Pew!!

Caitlyn's innate was triggered . A bullet empowered by rage and fire was shot out and hit Nami .

Poof!

It was the Caliber Net! A yellow net expanded from Caitlyn's gun point and landed accurately on Nami .

Helped by the recoil, Caitlyn reversed valiantly out from the Tower's range .

She planted her boots on the muddy ground and swung her long hair . Caitlyn then flexed her body elegantly and pointed her Peacemaker directly at the sluggish Nami!

Boom!

A fiery bird flew out from her gun and burst through the air with a loud bang!

Nami had been extremely slowed down, and despite trying her best to evade, she could only watch as the flaming bullet closed in and tore her apart .

Caitlyn walked away coolly, leaving behind Bond's Nami with only her ruthless shadow .

The Peacemaker flew by and took away Nami final drop of HP…

Double Kill!

Calm, glorious, and sophisticated!

A precise calculation on Caitlyn's critical timing; on Nami HP; on Caitlyn's skill damage; in addition to her seamless control…

The series of Caitlyn's flawless actions had Yu Luocheng stunned as he looked at the computer screen .

Only an SP had the right to judge an ADC!

No doubt, the Draven kill was counted on Yu Luocheng's brilliance for landing the hook accurately and his clever placement of the Soul Lantern .

But the process in which Nami was killed had really gotten Yu Luocheng dumbstruck .

Once again, Shallow Dream had just soared higher in Yu Luocheng's appraisal!

A pro among the pros . A truly magnificent player!

Yu Luocheng was very fond of video games . He had always yearned for a worthy opponent, strong enough to draw out his inner competitiveness .

Just like when he had last met Asmodai at the bottom lane . No matter how hard he tried to convince himself, his competitive nature was still easily lured out by the opponent's simple provocation .

But do you know? The person who could enthuse an E-Sports player the most was not a mighty foe, but rather, a teammate so dominant that you would never wish to be their enemy!

For Yu Luocheng, only a limited few fell into that category . His ex-teammate, Thane, the Blood Eagle was one . The ace of Team Daemon, Hades, was another one, along with a few others from foreign countries .

Somehow, after only two games, one as teammates and one as opponents… Yu Luocheng felt that he would never want to go against this Caitlyn player known as Shallow Dream .

He was once at the pinnacle of E-Sports . His arrogance of being the best (which he attempted to conceal) was not something that could be easily swayed by the so-called LOL professionals who had merely played thousands of LOL matches .

Maybe some of the popular ADC's within the country could have executed the same kind of calculation and maneuver like what Shallow Dream had just done . However, Yu Luocheng possessed great insight when it came to E-Sports .

His unique judgement told him that the player behind the scene possessed the decisiveness and flair that belonged only to those of the elite few!
