Chapter 17: I am innocent. Innocent.

Lin Yi did not expect Chen Yu Shu to remember such details. Now, it would be pointless for him to continue to feign innocence, so he admitted it.

“Really??” Asked Chen Yu Shu skeptically as she looked at Lin Yi in disbelief.

“Of course….” Li Yi replied in a very grievance voice, as what he said was very close to the truth.

“Humpf …” Snorted Chen Yu Shu. Since she did not want to argue with Lin Yi about it anymore, she reached out for the remote, on the coffee table, to switch to another other channel. Just then, she noticed the ball of tissue paper on the coffee table!  The tissue did not fully cover the contents, so she was able to catch a glimpse some slimy fluid …..

“What is this??” Chen Yu Shu face turned green with disgust, even her voice started shaking as she spoke, “So…. not only did you watch porn while you are in Yao Yao’s house, you even did such an indecent act…..”

“What did I do?? ” Lin Yi was confused, and looked towards what Chen Yu Shu was looking at. He saw the ball of tissue which he used a while ago. Instantly, he understood what Chen Yu Shu meant! ‘FUCK!! Why am I so unlucky?’

Lin Yi knew that Chen Yu Shu had misunderstood. The ball of tissue paper, the slimy liquid inside and the fact that he was just caught watching porn. Add those clues up, and it would not be a surprise that Chen Yu Shu suspected that a certain event occured… . At this moment, Lin Yi was dumbfounded. ‘WTF is this??’

“Yu Shu ….don’t think about this the wrong way. I just came to the north, my body has yet to acclimatize, so I caught a cold. That is the tissue which I used to wipe my nose. You can have a look ….” Said Lin Yi as he unwrapped the tissue and wanted Chen Yu Shu closely examine the contents.

Lin Yi felt a little awkward. “There is nothing I can do if she doesn’t want to believe me. I can’t possibly force her to, can I?’ Lin Yi then removed the tissue from her sight. “Even if you don’t believe me, I really didn’t….”

Chen Yu Shu considered for a moment, and came out with a plan. “I changed my mind. I don’t feel like eating instant noodle anymore. You! Cook something for me!”

“Eh?” Lin Yi felt confused and asked, “Why?”

“Heh heh, now that your weakness is in my hands, if you don’t do as you are told, I am going to complain to Uncle Chu that Yao Yao I were startled when we caught you…. you ‘playing with yourself’ while watching the TV!” said Chen Yu Shu craftily.

Lin Yi was speechless. “I was wronged!! Wronged!! But what can I do? If Gramps found out about this, I will be ruined.’

Lin Yi took two deep breath, and muttered, “You are vicious.”

“Vicious? Not as much as you. Doing such a frightening thing!” rebutted Chen Yu Shu.

Lin Yi did not know how to reply. Although he knew he lost the fight, but that did not prevent him from retaliating to Chen Yu Shu by saying, “But, do you dare to eat the food that was made using my hands?”

“No problem. It was written in the book that ‘stuff’ is nothing but protein. It will even have beautifying effect if you consume it.” Chen Yu Shu replied casually.

Now, Lin Yi was utterly speechless. “This little devil is even more difficult opponent then Chu Meng Yao. Chu Meng Yao only hated me, but this devil is out to give me trouble,” Lin Yi thought.

But, Lin Yi was surprised, ‘Why is she behaving differently as compared to a while ago? Just now, she was still complaining about how disgusting it was. But now she mentioned that eating it will have beautifying effect….’

“What do you want to eat?? ” asked Lin Yi.

“Anything is fine. I have no idea what is there in the kitchen. Why don’t you go take a look for yourself,” replied Chen Yu Shu as she changed her posture and laid on the sofa.

Her current posture was very enchanting. Her smooth white legs could be seen peeking out from her pajamas. The sight was too much for Lin Yi to handle. A certain recently recovered body part of his could not help but react.

“Sure ….” Lin Yi was scared that Chen Yu Shu would notice his reaction. So he hunched his body and proceeded to the kitchen. Unfortunately, immediately after two steps, he was stopped by Chen Yu Shu.

“Shield-ge, what is wrong with you? Why are walking like that? You look like a shrimp. ” Chen Yu Shu noticed Lin Yi’s unusual movement and was very curious. Shortly after that, she noticed Lin Yi’s lower body, and understood the reason. A hue of red spread throughout her cheeks from embarrassment. She immediately looked away and mumbled, “ Pervert!”

Lin Yi could not be bothered to explain himself. Since he was already found out, he stood up straight and walked towards the kitchen.

Chen Yu Shu stared at Lin Yi back as he walked away, a sly smile could be seen on her face. ‘Hmpf! Of course I knew it was just mucus, do you think I am an idiot? It was taught in the health-education class that “substance” is milky colored and it will have a distinct weird smell. One would be able to recognize it from a distance.’ Although Chen Yu Shu had never known what the real “thing” smelled like, but she had been sitting on the sofa for such a long time, and she could not smell any weird smell.

Most importantly, it was mentioned in the web, once the guy relieved himself, the lower body will become soft. From the looks of Lin Yi, he did not seem like he was relieved.

But, Chen Yu Shu was not going to mention this to Lin Yi. She was going to let the misunderstanding stay. So she used it to play around with Lin Yi. ‘Hihi, who told him to not listen to my request?’

‘It sure feels great to have someone to order around,’ thought Chen Yu Shu when a very nice aroma came drifting out from the kitchen. She felt that her decision was not wrong.

When Lin Yi reached the kitchen, he was quite surprised. The kitchen was very well equipped, it was definitely better than the stone stove he had back there in the village. Everything was very modern, there was even a cute little SpongeBob apron. Since it was very new, Lin Yi deduced that it was not used very often. Those two young ladies were very well taken care of. So of course they did not have to prepare their own meals.

Lin Yi put on the apron and started to look around the kitchen for ingredients he could use. He found some tomatoes, spinach, celery and some eggs in the fridge. It must have been prepared by Uncle Fu for Chu Meng Yao, since there was not a lot of the ingredients available. He was unsure about Chu Meng Yao’s ability to cook. ‘As expected of a person trusted by Chu Peng Zhan, Uncle Fu is very thoughtful.’

For the main dish, Lin Yi also found some flour and corn. He decided to make some handmade Yangchun noodles. Since he was also a little hungry, he also prepared his portion.

Preparing a meal was nothing to Lin Yi. Back there in the village, since he was a child, he had to take care of Gramps Lin. Since the kitchen was very well equipped, Lin Yi was able to prepare the ingredients quickly, and he started to pull some handmade noodles. Soon, a bunch of thinly pulled noodles appeared on the preparation table.
