Mu Qing felt like someone just slapped him hard.

He could not help but stagger backwards. If not for Xu Fei Yi holding his arm, Mu Qing would have fallen on the ground. Mu Qing and Xu Fei Yi was acting like a certain someone was not present and was having a conversation like the involved person was not around.

XuanRong's veins almost popped a couple of times. When Xu Fei Yi uttered those abstruse words, she felt like slapping him hard. Looking at the man who turned pale after hearing this dumb man's stupid words, XuanRong already guessed what the other person was thinking. She did not know whether to laugh or to cry.

She wanted to intervene and clarify everything, but she realized that the man was in a daze while producing different expressions every minute. XuanRong could not help but laugh. Seemed like both master and servant were dumb and dim-witted.

Her laughter brought back Mu Qing who was thinking deeply. He straightened his body and tidied his clothes.

After arriving at XuanRong's front, Mu Qing connected his fists and saluted to her.

"This servant greets Young Lady Xuan. This servant was not able to greet Young Lady immediately and hopes that Young Lady would forgive this servant."

XuanRong stood up and returned the curtsey, making Mu Qing inwardly nod in approval.

'Seems like the rumors about her being an arrogant child is not true.'

"This Lady greets Imperial Guard Mu."

Now that he was standing in front of her, Mu Qing could not find the right word to start the conversation. He could not just say. 'Young Lady, you have to marry His Highness!'.
