She is currently a ten-year-old child without any form of marriage agreement from any noble family due to the rumor of her being an arrogant person."

The shadow's tone was constant without any emotion in his voice but deep inside, he was sweating hard. It took him a great effort to remain impassive, trying his best not to get caught and be punished. He would rather get tortured by their enemies than be punished by His Lordship.

He had been a shadow since he was little, and he was a special informant who was raised with the sole purpose of gathering information. He, the shadow, was 'made' for the sake of His Lordship. He who had ears but had no mouth. He who had eyes that could only see. He could hear, he could see, but his mouth was sealed and could not speak. He neither had his own will nor his own thoughts. He was not a person but 'His' shadow. He was bound by the thing called 'Loyalty'.

When the maidservant outside heard some movement inside the room, she immediately entered the room and found out that the woman was now awake.

"This Madam, are you hungry? would you like to eat something? This servant will tell the kitchen beforehand."

The woman turned her head when she heard someone's voice.

"W-where am I?" the woman warily stared at the departing back of the maidservant.

She no longer needed to recuperate for her wounds. Time was running out. She had to find her son and give the necklace. When the woman recalled the necklace, she raised her hand to get the pouch inside her inner garments. Unfortunately, she forgot that before she passed out, someone already accepted her responsibility.

"Da XiaoJie[5], the guest is already awake. Would you like to enter and ask her?"

When she heard the maidservant, who returned spoke with another person, the woman stared at the closed door, waiting for it to open.

*creaaak*

The door opened, and two people entered the room. One was the servant who previously left while the other one was a ten-year-old child. The woman decided to stay in bed and recuperate completely. XuanRong smiled at her.

"I am glad that you are awake now."

The woman tried to sit on the bed but XuanRong refused.

"No need to force yourself. Just remain lying over there and leave the rest to me."

"Thank you." The woman's voice was a little hoarse but once could sense the gratitude she felt towards the Moon Emperor.

"Do not thank me. I am doing this not for your sake but for my sake."

The woman was shocked when she heard XuanRong's honesty. The woman admired people like XuanRong, so, she opened her mouth and say, "Speak. What do you want from me?"

XuanRong stared at the woman's eyes.

"Teach me the Art of Gu."
