Rebirth of the Female Antagonist: XUANRONG Chapter 104: To Kill

Xiao Lou turned her head and saw XuanLi. She could not help but panic when she saw the rest of the male guests behind him.
"H-Husband.. why.. w-why are you here?"
Xiao Lou felt like her head swelled. She could not help but stagger backwards. She did not expect to see him right now. The worst thing was, he was with the other male guests. Xiao Lou wanted to hide XuanFei away but it was already too late. XuanFei had already been seen by those male guests.
'Why are they here?! They are not supposed to be here!'
Xiao Lou whipped her head towards XuanFei and saw her daughter froze while staring at her father. Her crying suddenly stopped, and her pale face went paler as if she had seen a ghost. Due to their extreme movement a while ago, the bed sheet opened a little and showed XuanFei's fair shoulder and neck. Her neck was full of red patches while her arms had a trace of fingers on it, as if someone gripped her arms tightly.
XuanFei realized that everyone had already seen her naked body and could not help but scream.
"NOOOO!!!!" She did not expect that her father would visit the Crown Prince's designated room and even brought a few guests together with him. Being seen naked by those male guests was more shameful than being seen by the Furens and young ladies. XuanFei could no longer hold the shame she felt and fainted. The servants who were assisting her were unable to react immediately and could not catch XuanFei. She fell on the ground and her naked body was exposed.
"FEI'ER!!!!"
Xiao Lou screamed while she tried to secure the cover in her daughter's body. She glared at the servants, wanting to tear them into pieces. A simple job of holding her daughter properly and they could not do it! What was the use of letting them continue living if they could not even do their job correctly?
"Why are you only staring at her?! Quick!!! Call a physician!!"
Looking at his wife who was shouting frantically while trying to cover her beloved daughter's naked body, XuanLi's face turned black. He felt that his face had been thrown away. Even if he did not turn his head to see the guests following behind him, he could tell that right now, they were mocking him, especially his enemies at the imperial court.
XuanLi could not help but look at Chen Zi Tao at the side of his eyes. It was the old general who suggested that they should visit the Crown Prince and see if he was comfortable or not. Being the host of the ceremony, he also wanted to visit the Crown Prince to curry favor. He could not help but suspect that the old general, Chen Zi Tao, knew what was happening in the courtyard. But since he did not have any evidence, XuanLi could not condemn the old general. He was afraid that he would be mocked later on.
XuanLi coughed and tried to remain calm even though he was burning inside with anger. He had to show that as the left Prime Minister, he would remain rational whatever problem he would encounter. Besides, although he was still not clear with the issue, he could tell that everything was a scheme designed by someone. He would not become the Left Prime Minister if his brain was empty. Since the commotion was exactly at the front of the Crown Prince's designated room, it would only mean that he was involved in the scandal. Her beloved daughter was naked and one could tell that she had been subjected to a sexual activity with the Crown Prince. XuanLi had to stay levelheaded and should start weighing the pros and cons of it. One was his beloved daughter while the other one was the Crown Prince of the country. That was why, even if he wanted to get angry at the person who molested his daughter, he could not do it.

XuanLi stared at the opened door, hoping to see the Crown Prince. Unfortunately, he could not even see His Highness' shadow. When a servant whispered on his ear, saying that after they rescued XuanFei, Xu Ji An fell asleep and did not wake up even with the great commotion happening outside the room, XuanLi could not help but foolishly look at the room.

Even though everyone already saw that he daughter was no longer chaste, if she could turn the tides, showing that XuanFei was only a victim of XuanRong's dirty scheme and was forced by Xu Ji An, she would not be labeled as a lowly slut but instead, she would be viewed as a pitiful maiden.
"Husband.. the truth is, this wife went here to search for Rong'er."
Xiao Lou wiped her eyes with handkerchief. Her face was full of tears as she stared at XuanFei who was being placed on a long chair while the servants were trying to cover her body.

The female servant saw Fei'er and told Fei'er about what she heard. Fei'er, fearing that something might have happened to her older sister, immediately went to His Highness place to search for Rong'er. When this wife ;earned about this matter, this wife immediately went even though searching the entire Crown Prince's resting place would disrespect His Highness. But… *sob*.. when this wife arrived, it was… *sob*…. It was already too late… my beloved daughter… wuwuwu.. my poor daughter has been screaming nonstop inside the room.. This wife… This wife… wuwuwu..,"
Xiao Lou cried and was not able to finish her sentence but it was enough to form an illusion inside the mind of those people present that XuanFei was only a victim.
"What did you say?!"
Hearing everything, XuanLi could not help but roar. He even forgotten that Xu Ji An was still inside the room. The focus of his hatred was his eldest daughter, XuanRong. In his mind, it was XuanRog's scheme that destroyed the reputation and innocence of his beloved daughter.
"Where is she?!! Where is your Eldest Young Miss?!! Call her and confine her to the ancestral hall and proceed with punishing her using the Family law!"
XuanLi glared at the servants but they only lowered their head, refusing to answer.
"Oh ho! May this old man enter the conversation?"
Suddenly, Chen Zi Tao went forward and spoke.
Hearing Chen Zi Tao's voice, XuanLi and Xiao Lou's countenance darkened while Xioa Li's eyes sharpened.
Not waiting for XuanLi's reply, Chen Zi Tao resumed speaking.
"Prime Minister Xuan, how can you only listen to one side and immediately decide? You are clearly showing unfairness. If this is how you it, then, this old man is afraid that you are not fit to work as the Prime Minister of the country."
XuanLi's face turned purple when he heard Chen Zi Tao's words. He wanted to speak but before he could open his mouth, Chen Zi Tao once again spoke.
"Xuan Furen, you said that the female servant heard someone spoke, saying that my granddaughter went here. May this old man know who that female servant is?"
Without any other choice, Xiao Lou ordered the mama who was holding the female servant to move forward and bring the female servant with her. Looking at Chen Zi Tao's deep gaze, the female servant could not help but shake in fear. She was afraid that she would get caught lying.
"Why are you shivering? Why are you afraid? This old man will not kill you. Instead, this old man will only ask you questions."
Hearing his amiable words, the female servant inwardly exhaled in relief.
"Where did you hear that your Eldest Young Miss went to His Highness' place? Who were those servants who spoke that they saw your Eldest Young Miss went to the Crown Prince's resting room?"

If it is found out that you are only lying, trying to deceive me while creating a huge conflict between the Imperial family and, the Xuan family and Chen family, this old man will make sure that you will die by dismemberment of five sides and your nine filial generation will also be killed together with you. Speak now and ask forgiveness. I will give you the chance to tell the truth."
The female servant froze when she heard that even her family would die. She fell on the ground and started crying.
"This servant will tell the truth!! This servant was only lying!! This servant never heard anyone saying that the Eldest Young Miss went to His Highness the Crown Prince's place. This servant was only lying in order to destroy Eldest Young Miss' reputation!! Please, do not kill my family!! This servant will tell you everything!!"
Xiao Lou's face when she saw that the female servant was scared and decided to admit their wrong doings. She had to find a way to silence the female servant.
When the people heard the servant's confession, they could not help but feel ashamed, especially those Furens who were thinking that XuanRong was a malicious person.
"The truth is, everything was----- ahhhhh!!"
"You harmed both my daughters, I will kill you!!!"
Xiao Lou unexpectedly ran forward as if she was possessed by a malevolent spirit and stabbed the servant's neck with her hairpin. Before everyone could react, the servant was already bleeding. She fell on the ground as she clutched her neck while fearfully looking at Xiao Lou.
"I'll kill you!! I'll kill you!! How dare you plot against both my daughters!! You already destroyed my daughter's innocence, yet you want to use my other daughter to shoulder the blame?! I'll kill you!!"
Xiao Lou started shouting while stretching her hands, trying to reach the female servant.
"ENOUGH!!!!"
He turned and ordered the servants to carry Xiao Lou and XuanFei back to their respective courtyards while the female servant was placed at the family prison.
When Xiao Lou and XuanFei were brought away, the entire place went silent.
"Humpf! Luckily, the female servant confessed, if not, my poor granddaughter would certainly shoulder the blame due to someone's lack of judgement. Ai ya…"
XuanLi could not help but gnash his teeth when he heard Che Zi Tao's mocking words. He wanted to scream at him but he could only smile and ask forgiveness."
"Forgive me, Great General Chen for being blind. Since the matter regarding XuanRong's involvement has been resolved, This Prime Minister will not pursue this matter."
XuanLi turned his head and looked at the guests standing behind him.

Without any other choice, those guests who were eager to watch some drama could only leave the premises. Even those who were still at the residence hall, XuanLi ordered the servants to inform them that the banquet had ended. He could not leave since he was waiting for Xu Ji AN to wake up.
When the only left was XuanLi, Chen Zi Tao and some of the servants, Chen Zi Tao could not help but scoff before leaving. Chen Zi Tao did not want to stay any longer. He wanted to leave the Prime Minister's residence and return to Chen Fu. He went to the residence's hall and told his eldest daughter in law that they should leave. He knew that although he was not able to see his granddaughter, XuanRong was not in any harm's way, but in order to make sure, Chen Zi Tao called An Wei.
"An Wei."
"This subordinate is here."
"Find Rong'er. Make sure that she is okay."
"Yes, Old Master. This subordinate understands."
