XuanRong was still in deep thought when she heard someone shouted, "XiaoJie!!!"
She turned her head and saw YuYing, who already unmounted her horse, run towards her with great velocity.

XuanRong was caught off-guard when she felt YuYing's warm embrace enveloping her entire petite body, almost knocking her feet off the ground. But before she could even react, YuYing already retracted her arms and lowered her head.

Although XuanRong treated her well, she was still mindful with her servant status.
When XuanRong saw how YuYing was trying to suppress the happiness she was feeling, XuanRong's gaze softened. She knew that YuYing was only concerned with her safety and was glad that she was okay.
XuanRong smiled and shook her head. Looking at YuYing, she inwardly sighed in regret. In her previous lifetime, YuYing was also like this, a servant who clearly draws a line between master and servant relationship. In her previous life, she thought that it was normal since she was indeed a servant but this time, in this lifetime, she vowed that since YuYing was her person and she considered as her sibling, she would make sure that she would change YuYing's views towards their relationship.

Fei Bai Zou, using his short but chubby legs, trotted towards XuanRong. He then saluted respectfully.
XuanRong returned the curtsy and responded politely.
"This Lady would like to thank Fei Daren [3] for helping my maidservant return safely and for bringing reinforcements to the mountain. This Lady was able to escape from their evil claws, but This Lady was almost frightened to death. Thinking that Fei Daren and the rest from yamen are already here to protect This Lady, This Lady's anxiety has already disappeared. Many thanks to Fei Daren for upholding justice and for responding to This Lady's distress call for help."
Fei Bai Zou's pig-like face smiled at XuanRong when he heard her praise. He was not in the mood a while ago because of their confrontation with Mu Qing. He was almost angered to death due to other party's indirect way of insulting him and his uncle. His uncle was the magistrate of Lu Shan but that man did not even put his uncle on his eyes, which made him feel humiliated.
During his travel towards the temple after the confrontation with that arrogant man, Fei Bai Zou inwardly cursed his horrible luck. He lost face in front of his subordinates. If not for the fact that he already received a huge amount of money from XuanRong's maidservant, he would never try to insist on passing through them and would immediately return to the town without any second thought. But all of his displeasure disappeared when he heard XuanRong's high praise for his action.
"Hehe... What are you saying, Young Miss Xuan. This humble person was only working diligently! No matter who asks for help, we the government office [4] will definitely help that person regardless of their status. Whether they are nothing but a simple commoner or a member of an influential family, the Local Magistrate and the Yamen official will definitely do their best to help them."
When XuanRong heard Fei Bai Zou's words, she inwardly sneered in contempt.

XuanRong turned and looked at YuYing who was standing beside her.

"You did a good job. I am very proud of you." XuanRong raised her hand and slowly patted YuYing's head. She no longer feel disgusted when touching YuYing. XuanRong sighed in relief. Seemed like her hate in skin ship could be cured.

When YuYing felt XuanRong's warm hands above her head, her eyes twinkled. It was the first time XuanRong initiated a physical contact with her. Ever since half a month ago, her XiaoJie changed. She had been with XuanRong since they were small, how could she not notice the change in XuanRong's attitude?
But no matter what, regardless how XuanRong changed in the past few days, YuYing was happy that she was XuanRong's personal servant.
